TTC first baby thread 24

@whatsthecraic91 snow was bad! DH had to leave me to work as our back roads had cars all over the ditches 🙈 (were on a mountain). Then had to come collect me an hour later so I could get my car to make this appt! Main roads are fine thank god!

@FarmerWantsABaby hope you don't have too much snow up there! We got off lightly over here in the east! Hope all goes well for you this morning x

@Lozzlepop thank you. On my way to the practice now. GP wants to see me at 10:30. Looking forward to getting an answer regardless of the outcome now. At least I know I am ovulating which has been the concern over the past year. Hoping for a positive outcome but preparing myself for the worst. If the GP just sends me home to "wait" I'll go insane.

Another miserable horrible snowy day here today, I am so over the weather! Did everyone have a good weekend?

@Anny27 there is a lot of admin, the spreadsheet is constantly getting amended lol! And as soon as you say "wedding" everything is 10 x more expensive!

@timswifey I hope you are feeling a bit better today, it is such a horrible thing to experience. Take all the time you need, with my first miscarriage I was off work for 2 weeks as I needed that time to process both physically and mentally.

@FarmerWantsABaby I hope you are ok, I think your Dr has a bit of a shitty attitude to be fair. I hope you get some answers soon ❤️

@Kiza you are starting to give me the fear about the HSG 🙈Have you got a positive OPK this cycle? what CD are you on?

@Lmac2018 I have had no symptoms twice and ended up with a BFP, the last time I ended up getting the cold and thought this had pushed O back but in actual face i was already pregnant!

@whatsthecraic91 bizarrely I get left boob pain too but the right is fine? How weird are our bodies at time? Haha

@timswifey. That's a relief that you don't have to deal with the a group of colleagues if you're not up to it and that you have some lovely understandings students too. I know that most places locally have a mc support groups, I decided not to go to one but it was good to know it was there if I needed to.

@Anny27 haha I thought everyone had I bigger one? I'm just about a B cup, that's one thing I'm looking forward to in pregnancy is having big ones I know they won't last but it will be nice for a few months 🤣

@Anny27 well according to my new ovulation date I am 10DPO today! My left boob is killing me all day and I don't usually get sore boobs so I really don't know! Why is my right one okay? My left is my big one so unsure if that makes a difference 🤣 a tad crampy this afternoon and I just wiped before I jumped in the bath here and I have a tiny bit of pink CM. Feel like I could sleep for a week too but that's usually what I'm like before AF 😴 DP told me to get out of my mood too 😨 ooo 6DPO you'll be able to go crazy this week too then 😂😂 aww okay, I'm hoping she stays away to after Wednesday, I might not even get the scan that day but want to be prepared just incase!

Pretty excited now, headache has kinda subsided. Still feeling a bit bummed up but not too bad. My cat won't leave me alone, she has her own kittens to look after but she's following me around all the time so I'm currently cat sitting 😂

@Eatsleepbakerepeat wow congratulations! How long have you been trying? What symptoms have you got?

@Lmac2018 I was very ill all last week and got a positive yesterday. No idea how this will turn out right enough. But I think I'll keep testing every day to check just incase the bleeding has been an early MC and a negative eventually comes up.

Got my BFP this morning 16dpo and 2 days late for af!

@Lmac2018 could be a good sign. Your immune system does lower if your body is trying to implant an egg. However, it could be normal illness. The two week wait really gets on your nerves, doesn't it. It's the ultimate test of patience.

{@1990shopefulftm brilliant. I was hoping we'd get some graduates this time and that is a brilliant line. No mistaking it for anything other than a bfp!!! So happy for you!!!

I did another one step today and got another faint line with no colour, so could've been an indent. Up to four of them now, all with no colour. Did a frer a few days ago which was negative. So I'm going to try waiting until a couple days after I'm due before testing again.

Afternoon ladies!! Today woke up with the worst headache and feeling a bit sick. Don't know what to think, don't know if it's just a little bug or what but this headache kills.

@Lottiepink without getting into it (don't want to sound like I'm crazy lol), I always get strange bunches and coincidences in my life. Apparently my great great gran was a "witch" 😂 I do angel cards for people and they're usually spot on. And I can tell when someone is pregnant. It's very strange. And now I sound cuckoo lol but yea I was sorting things out in the bathroom yesterday morning, on day 8 of AF and I just took a huge hunch about taking a PT, laughed at myself but did it anyways. AF usually lasts 5-6 days. Never goes over a week. I'm just spotting today, if anything.

@timswifey I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm sort of sitting on the fence atm too not knowing what's happening.
I'm a teacher with no permanent job (there's no work where I live it's terrible) so I understand how you feel about loss of income. However, despite it being hard to accept you're 100% right, your well-being is more important than any wage right now xxx

@Kiza hopefully if you end up going down IVF route it goes well for you, I'm 27 and been TTC for 2 years (on and off, we took a few breaks as we were getting stressed), I'm hoping and praying this isn't a loss and with me bleeding for 9 days I've convinced myself that this is ectopic. As you say, it's hard to hold on to excitement!

@FarmerWantsABaby oh dear, so strange that you got a feeling to do a test though. It's just like you knew! Hopefully the dr will give some answers. You do hear of people getting pregnant tho and bleeding and not realising as they think it's just af! Is your af usually as long?

@whatsthecraic91 it's in a few weeks so not long to wait 👏🏻👏🏻 even if af is here, your better just getting it done and it's a test out the way 😊 your right I'm sure they will have seen a lot more than that 🤣🤣

@Gemlou81 welcome, have you had tests etc done at the hospital? And @Kiza advice sounds fab for it reducing his stress etc!

Thanks @Kiza and @whatsthecraic91 I'm feeling a little better today. Still getting pains but nothing like how it was before. I am crying a lot though.

I'm freelance and don't have a lot of work on at the moment. At first I was thankful because everyone says the first trimester is the hardest, but now I'm glad as it gives me time and space to start recovering from this. I do teach from home and have been very open with my students and said I'm going through a miscarriage and am not able to teach this week and they have been amazing and very understanding. I will lose income of course but my physical, mental and emotional health needs to come first right now.

@Kiza no I've never had one before, if I'm bleeding and he wants to do it I'll just have it done I'm sure they've seen it all before 🙈

Absolutely no sign of AF, guessing I am 10DPO, my left boob is extremely sore this morning which is strange for me!
