@Kiza also I can't believe I caught after only a few months and now here I am a year later 🤣 life's funny isn't it 🙈

Annny27 · 24/05/2020 21:43

So sorry haven't read everyone else's messages but will catch up on Tuesday! Doing some DIY so not had much chance to be on here

@kiza totally the same - if I know someone's been ttc for a long time I am genuinely elated!! Its like a piece of hope for us all 💗

@whatsthecraic91 baby looks wonderful 💗💗

whatsthecraic91 · 24/05/2020 21:23

@Narwhal88 thank you ❤️

@Kiza yea I know what you mean but scan pics can be upsetting and I wanted to be considerate 😌 thank you! I have everything crossed you ladies will be joining me very soon x

Kiza · 24/05/2020 20:57

@whatsthecraic91 so happy for you that the scan went so well and the image is so clear. For me it's different hearing about pregnancy's from people who have gone through similar journeys compared to people who are not even trying or fall pregnant after only a couple of months of trying so no upset at all.
Glad that you can relax a bit now ☺️

Narwhal88 · 24/05/2020 19:25

Thanks @Teadrinker30 sorry about BFN - it's always shit to see that 1 line! Do something nice for yourself as a treat to cheer yourself up x

Narwhal88 · 24/05/2020 19:24

@whatsthecraic91 wow that is so clear! It's amazing that is looks so baby like at 8 weeks 🤣 So happy for you! A little New Years baby!

whatsthecraic91 · 24/05/2020 18:45

@Annny27 aww thanks! I can't believe how clear the pic is, they are already like a wee baby! Seen the heart flickering away too it was amazing 😊

whatsthecraic91 · 24/05/2020 18:02

Hey ladies! Scan went great today, measuring 1 day behind what I thought so 8 weeks exactly, due date now 3rd Jan. So very happy and now I feel like I can chill out a bit. I will post a picture if you all would like to see it, I don't want to upset anyone 😘x

timswifey · 24/05/2020 14:25

Hi @Lottiepink I truly think staying relaxed is key.

@Anny27 Bank Holiday weekend oh yes! It'll feel so different to a normal weekend... ha.

Fingers crossed for us both xxx

@lozzlepop so windy here too! It's rubbish. Bring back the sunshine please.

Teadrinker30 · 24/05/2020 12:02

Hey ladies! Hope you're having a good BH weekend

@narwhal88, really pleased for you about your results. Great news!

Hope eveyrone is doing OK, think I'm expecting AF any day now.. Did an early test as couldn't wait longer and it was negative so having a bit of a down day today.. Ahh well onwards and upwards! Xx

Narwhal88 · 23/05/2020 22:13

@kiza yeah my AMH was 37.8, so definitely above 1 so that's good then! Hopefully yours will be all good as well if your FSH is fine 🙂

orangeloo · 23/05/2020 19:53

@Kiza aah haha. Suppositories are all good atm. No side effects yet luckily. I'm only 5 DPO though.

@whatsthecraic91 ah how exciting! Smile

whatsthecraic91 · 23/05/2020 17:42

@Annny27 thank you I am very nervous 😬 it will make it very real too 😅 I'll drop by and let you know how it goes 😊

Kiza · 23/05/2020 15:33

Oops sorry @Lozzlepop that was supposed to be for @orangeloo about the progesterone suppositories.
Went for a nice social distanced walk with a friend for the first time, although it's actually harder than you think to ensure you're 2 meters away whilst walking & talking!

@Narwhal88 great news about your AMH, did they say what the actual number is? I think for nhs IVF it has to be above 1,

@Annny27 been really missing the gym. Luckily we have a few weights stored under the stairs and I've just ordered a weighted vest as it may be a few more months before the gyms reopen.

@Lottiepink heading into the fertile window, I wish I could not opk but I just can't seem to stop myself 🤦🏼‍♀️

Narwhal88 · 23/05/2020 11:20

Morning everyone!

@Lozzlepop my DH is wfh too and I wfh 2 days and go into the office 3 days. When we work together we end up chasing each other round the house when one of us is on a phone or conference call 🤣 we made our box room into an office when we moved in luckily, must be so hard working from a dining table!

@Anny27 I have been prepping for bank holiday at work and I still kept forgetting this week that it was actually this Monday 😂

@Lottiepink I got my results back this morning! So quick, very impressed! Sounds like you are relaxed and positive this month which is great! I haven't tempt or regularly OPKed in months it's so much better for your mental health I find! Though it's so annoying when you think you've relaxed loads and is still doesn't happen 😂 why do all these people just tell us to relax!

@timswifey welcome back 🙂 your job sounds lovely! My brother was meant to be getting married in July and has just moved it to November.

@kiza I know I did feel a bit cheeky but thought what the hell! I was meant to have an appointment in April with the consultant where she would send me for day 3 bloods and scans etc but it was cancelled and it has been playing on my mind that there could be something wrong and I just wanted to get on with it. Plus they don't test for AMH on NHS and I was curious due to my really short periods. They had a special offer on medichecks so decided to just do it. Also got one for DH to do as well which tests testosterone. I didn't know your AMH has to be above a certain number for IVF, do you know what it has to be?

@orangeloo thank you, they are a bit better today. I found it really stressful too, my DH helped me massage the fingers haha, I was worried we weren't gonna get enough blood! Typical that yours needed more blood 🤣 Hope you aren't going too crazy in the TWW yet!

My results were back this morning! All in normal ranges and my AMH is higher than average for my age! So pleased! Made me feel a lot more relaxed about things. Just got to wait for my appointment to come through and then hopefully get a TV scan and HSG. Really hoping now that my DH sperm has improved, though I'm clearly not pregnant yet sooooo...

Lozzlepop · 23/05/2020 10:39

Morning ladies ☺️

Happy Saturday, how are we all?

@Kiza think you might have tagged me by accident, I’m not taking suppositories.

@timswifey oh I hear you, I thought 2020 was going to be a better year but not shaping up that way so far! Fingers crossed things will be back to some form of normality soon, we are trying to plan our wedding but everything is on hold just now!

@Lottiepink it has been a bit of a nightmare- most times they are just internal calls but sometimes it’s important ones and there’s the cat screaming in the background 🙈 he got a desk delivered yesterday so can move upstairs- bye bye dressing room lol!

@Anny27 same here! I really want to get our tests back up and running so we know what’s what! I had no idea either as we don’t get bank hols at work lol 😂

It is blowing a gale here 😭 so think it’s going to be a day in the house for us! Anyone got anything nice planned?

Annny27 · 23/05/2020 10:22

Morning ladies :) I actually forgot it was bank Holiday weekend until yesterday:D

@timswifey welcome back lovely! This will be our 6th cycle after miscarriage - I also thought we would catch quickly again!

@Narwhal88 thats good that your tests have started back up again :D the doctor said that once they are doing investigations again that they will start with some blood tests and some sperms analysis i think

@whatsthecraic91 good luck for you scan xxx

@Lottiepink that's funny how you get a mid cycle mood change 🤣 I am a bitch all month long haha

@kiza have you been missing the gym or have you been getting on okay with home workouts?

@Lozzlepop yep I am starting to get a bit fed up with it all too!

Lottiepink · 23/05/2020 10:03

@Narwhal88 yes you are right definitely better when you have a date to look forward to! Ouch that sounds painful 😞 how long do the results take to come back?

@timswifey so nice to see you back, sorry af arrived for you, especially when you had your hopes up. Hope you are ok!

@Lozzlepop I know, I can't wait for things to return back to normal either, it's such a strange situation at the moment! Must be so hard DF working from your dining table, even more so with the Skype calls. You just be on edge and creeping around!

@Kiza I know, so strange, I just seem to get one day where I'm extremely tired and then that makes me ratty. I always think why am I so tired and then look at the cd and realise 😂 yes I get the whole gym thing too, some days you feel great, others not so much!

I'm cd12 today, but still not temping or anything again, going to try and keep relaxed about it all, hope you all have a lovely Saturday! 😊

timswifey · 22/05/2020 22:16

@Lozzlepop I've been ok. Went straight from MC into lockdown so a very strange 2020 so far. Also as a musician I'm very worried how my industry is going to recover after this.

Luckily I play for weddings, which will be happening again at some point.

Thank you @Kiza how are feeling now?

Xxx

Kiza · 22/05/2020 15:51

@timswifey welcome back lovely, it's understandable to take some time away to grieve and do what you need to for yourself. I found after my mc I went in a really downward slump and it took me a good few months to come out the other end.

@Lozzlepop how you getting on with the suppositories? Yeah I can imagine at the moment you're chill but as it's draws closer to the 6/7 dpo you're going to be on edge waiting for the spotting. Do they say it may take a couple of months to see the potential effect?

@Narwhal88 great thinking with tracking the med sec down! If only I worked in the same trust as mine! 😆 and that's so good of her to reply to you. How come you've done a medichecks test? Was your consultant a bit slow at offering the blood tests via the NHS?

@Lottiepink how interesting that you get the same emotional symptoms during your FP? At least now you both know to prepare for it. I've found my strength for the gym varies massively in my cycle, before all this tracking we all had no idea how much everything is linked.

Thanks for the well wishes ladies for the IVF, awaiting on AMH results too as they have to be above a certain number to be able to proceed, though I have a feeling they'll be fine based on my FSH.

Lozzlepop · 22/05/2020 13:25

@orangeloo that’s good to know, I’ll keep an eye on it ☺️ Good luck keeping distracted in the TWW!

@timswifey nice to see you back, hope you are doing ok? It is hard but we will all get there 💜

I am so ready for lockdown to be over and return to some sense of normality already! Hope everyone has a fab weekend xx

timswifey · 22/05/2020 10:20

Hi ladies, I'm back. Sorry for my absence.

My period arrived today and I'm feeling rubbish. Third period since my miscarriage and I really thought I might be pregnant this time. Vivid dreams, headaches and nausea yesterday (maybe I was just hungry) but still nothing.

This is hard.

What's been happening while I've been away?

Xxx

orangeloo · 22/05/2020 09:34

@Narwhal88 I've done one of those medichecks tests. My fingers hurt for days haha I did prolactin and of course it needed the most amount of blood didn't it haha. I actually found it quite stressful trying to squeeze all that blood out first thing in the morning. Hope your fingers get better quick.

@Lozzlepop I'm 4DPO so not much happening just enjoying the next couple of days before I turn into a nervous psycho wreck haha. Ah okay there are some main nhs hospitals on there as my local is. Maybe it's different in Scotland but maybe have a look in a few days or so.

Lozzlepop · 21/05/2020 22:32

Evening all!

@whatsthecraic91 thanks, Just annoying how they have changed since the last miscarriage- I was hoping they would have returned to normal by now. Going on the no news is good news right? The weather has been fantastic- such a blessing! Oh wow that’s really flown in! How exciting- I hope the scan goes well, is DH allowed to go with you?

Hi @orangeloo how are you getting on? Thanks for the tip but my clinic is through the hospital and it only seems to be coming up with a fertility clinic on that website.

@Etonmess20 that’s really good that they have called to get your appointment scheduled! I’m in Scotland and we are still in lockdown until next Thursday and even then not sure when things will start to reopen so just need to keep an eye on things I guess.

@Kiza yes it is- weird to say that and think of our journey as we’d either have a 6 month old by now or still be in the stages of one of our later pregnancies. We are still using condoms to be on the safe side. No, no news about restarting our appointments yet. We’ve had literally no communication from work then the bombshell that their may be redundancies, DF is working from the dining table so I’m mainly hiding upstairs as he takes a lot of Skype calls so it’s quite challenging some days. That’s fab news about your referral and prioritising for age, fingers crossed for a positive outcome 💜

@Anny27 sorry to hear AF has arrived and put in such an early appearance, that’s fab that the other doctor has been more realistic on timescales! Here’s hoping lovely annoying cos we just had 2 left!

@Lottiepink thanks 😊 fingers crossed! that’s great you have your next appointment scheduled, I’m sure it’ll fly in!
