@Lozzlepop it's the right boob (usually the left though). It's being weird, sometimes it's so painful to touch, other times it's just the normal pms tenderness.
I found the same with the results and scheduled in a telephone conversation with the GP to ask specific levels of everything. I think they assume people don't want to know the nitty gritty!

@Carley321 I hate needles but had a fab lady do my Accupuncture, she was also a nurse so helped keep my calm. I got used to it by the 4th session and once the needles were in was able to chill and meditate.

@rathernotshare any joy on AF? Did the white sheets work? 😂

So I'm a bit confused as to when AF is due, for those of you who had a one off delayed O did AF come at the usual 14 day luteal phase or will it be later? My LP varies depending on my FP as they are both around the same so in the past if my FP was 12 days my LP is 12 days.
Therefore if this time round my FP is 20 does that mean by LP will be 20?
Here's a photo of my stats to better explain what I mean

Lozzlepop · 09/03/2020 16:17

Hi ladies, happy Monday!

@Anny27 I know exactly what you mean, I feel like thats what the whole of last year was for us so this year we are determined to make lots of memories!

@CoalCraft it will all be worth it when you are in your lovely new house!

@Kiza how are you feeling? That left boob still giving you gyp?

@Narwhal88 i would be exactly the same, best to know and you change process and deal with things instead of dragging out not knowing!

@Carley321 thank you ❤️i felt really positive at the start of these tests but now I am just worried they aren't going to find anything, really want April to hurry up so we can get the next lot done!

@rathernotshare 😂my friend always says the same about booking a holiday, AF will randomly arrive when she is due to go away!

Well I called and got DFs SA results, the nurse said they all looked good- starting to get slightly frustrated is this an NHS thing? Im not actually getting told any values just that things look good 🤷🏽‍♀️Had a lovely weekend away to a fantastic hotel with DF so that was nice, am ready for next weekend already lol! Hope everyone had a good one!

Carley321 · 09/03/2020 07:51

@Kiza no I haven’t tried acupuncture but I have heard good things about it and reflexology. I find myself looking onto it then getting a bit nervous and end up not knowing where to start with it. I really should though. Maybe I will after the lap.
Oh I hope you get lots of luck with ivf. I am 34 now so a little nervous about my age too.

CoalCraft · 09/03/2020 06:59

@rathernotshare Ah, I know all the fam would be supportive once that for used to the idea of me having a baby, I'm mostly just grumpy with all the questions, advice and assumptions lol. Still I know it mostly comes from a good place.

I like your fresh sheets idea. I recommend white trousers too Grin

@Anny27 not our first house, but honestly I'm more excited about this than our first. Can do a lot more with this place.

Withdrawal bleed coming to an end now. Normally I'd start a new pill packet tomorrow. It's funny thinking I won't!

FarmerWantsABaby · 08/03/2020 21:21

@rathernotshare 😂😂 wear a gstring tomorrow. AF loves a good ole gstring 😂

rathernotshare · 08/03/2020 20:26

I've just put on white bedding to try and tempt my first post pill AF to arrive 😂 works a treat any other time!

Kiza · 08/03/2020 20:15

@Carley321 sorry if you've been asked this before but have you tried Accupuncture for your irregular cycles? I had a course of 8 treatments last summer and it made my cycles regular from the very first session- was pretty amazing!
We only started the investigations due to my age and only being allowed 1 round of ivf free on the nhs before turning 40 so had to get things moving.

Carley321 · 08/03/2020 19:20

@Lozzlepop so sorry for what you’ve gone through. It really is tough 💐 At least your getting into the swing of investigations now.

@Anny27 so sorry to you too. It’s so bloody cruel. I wish I was one of those women too 🙈.

@Kiza yea it’s been rough. It’s just been so hard because I’ve only actually spoke to nhs Gaeny once. So still not even had feedback on the tests I have had. Also been paying privately for some things like the hsg. But it’s hard going between the two. It’s good you’ve had so much investigated. Good luck with ivf. I hope It comes around soon for you.

@Narwhal88 hello. Yes I think we have. Aw no I’m sorry about the bad news, but it’s good that your
Giving a good health kick a go. Who knows it could be something that improves over time. There’s lots of info on things to help SA. DP is fine
My end but our advice of the private clinic was to limit red meat to 2/3 a month, stay away from saunas and hot baths. Cut down on alcohol and caffeine (not necessarily cut out) and try a Mediterranean diet lol.

Thank you for the warm welcome ladies. It’s nice to have somewhere to go to have a natter about all this. Real life can be emotional on times!

I absolutely hate it when people pop the children question. I can feel myself starring at them with those burning through to your soul eyes! Lol. Why ask! It’s rude!

Forgot to mention I also have irregular cycles and 2 are never the same just to add to the bloody stress 🙈. I hope we all start to get some luck ASAP!

Kiza · 08/03/2020 19:20

@rathernotshare 😂😂😂 to be a fly on the wall during that conversation!

rathernotshare · 08/03/2020 19:07

@Kiza I haven't said it yet but it's always on the tip of my tongue 😂 my husbands mum is coming to visit in a couple of weeks, she's been suggesting baby names since the engagement! Might have to ask her if she thinks about me having sex with her son often 💁‍♀️

Kiza · 08/03/2020 18:41

@Annny27 luckily I reasoned with my own mind and didn't test. Going to try really hard and wait until AF is due on Thursday.
I just wish none of it was stressful! Hope you've had a nice weekend ☺️

@rathernotshare I'd love to have the courage to say something like that to people, especially as I'm 39 people make comments allllllll the time!

@Lottiepink depends what you mean by too much 😆 I think they say every day for a sustained period is probs a bit too much but every other day is fine.

rathernotshare · 08/03/2020 17:56

@Annny27 I genuinely don't think people realise what a personal question it is! Good luck for your new cycle! Smile

Annny27 · 08/03/2020 17:45

Evening :D cd6 today so AF gone 🙌🙌

@Lottiepink thata good you have done lots of DTD :D

@CoalCraft is this your first house? I loved decorating and getting everything sorted

@rathernotshare it's getting to the point now where I am gonna start saying "we had a miscarriage 3 months ago but thanks for reminding us". Gettjng reaaaaaaaly sick of people asking when we want a baby and also anytime I dont drink people are like ooooh. So annoying haha

@Kiza hahaha I find tww less stress than waiting for ovulation strangely! Did your temptation to test happen??

rathernotshare · 08/03/2020 17:39

@CoalCraft that sucks your mum would think that, hopefully she will be super excited when the time comes. Next time someone asks I may just say 'are you asking if I'm having unprotected sex?' And see how they respond!

CoalCraft · 08/03/2020 14:53

@rathernotshare People can be so nosy, can't they!? My family are always asking but the reason I say we're not trying is cause I'm afraid my mum would disapprove and try and dissuade me. She wants me to focus on my career and not have kids till a lot later in life. I only know she didn't have any sickness cause she's mentioned it in passing in previous conversations.

I just wish people wouldn't have opinions about me having kids either way! Or at least not share them with me in a pushy way lol

Sorry you've had to put up with it in work too though, that's not on Sad

rathernotshare · 08/03/2020 13:42

@CoalCraft I daren't ask my mum as I've told her we're not trying yet, every since we got married that's all anyone's been asking! I have members of staff (all men) asking when I'm having kids as they want my job when I go on maternity leave, so inappropriate! So I'm trying to nip it all in the bud and not raise suspicions... we've only just started trying but if people were saying it a year down the line I'm not sure how well I'd handle it! 🤔

Lottiepink · 08/03/2020 09:20

Morning everyone,

Busy weekend so just catching up 😊

@Carley321 welcome, I'm sure you will fit into this group, as there's a lot of us on here that have been trying for a long time too!

@CoalCraft congratulations, how exciting!

@Narwhal88 sorry the SA came back low, it's awful isn't it, think the men take it harder having something wrong with their sperm, my DH took it hard, but seems better now thankfully!

Cd 18 today and I think this is getting classed as ovulation, but I'm not 100% until temps confirm it, I think it's either yesterday or today. It's later than last few months, but I had a really stressful week last week with work, and I think it's delayed it! Dtd plenty so who knows 😂 I often wonder tho if doing it too much has a negative effect 🙈😂

CoalCraft · 07/03/2020 22:26

@rathernotshare I feel you on hoping not to get bad morning sickness - I hate being sick so much! I'm clinging to the hope that because my mum didn't get any sickness at all, I won't either!

rathernotshare · 07/03/2020 22:16

I feel so sick today. Days like today make me think lord I hope I don't have bad morning sickness when the time comes as I'm not sure I'll make it! I'm such a baby when it comes to feeling sick 🤢

Narwhal88 · 07/03/2020 20:01

@Lozzlepop I know right! They have to test it straight away so the delay must just be admin! It's been such a shit few days since we found out the results I'm glad I didn't find out sooner tbh.

@Carley321 I think we have spoken on another thread previously, I changed my username, it was makeafamily19. So sorry you still aren't much further along. We had bad news this week from DH SA, basically really low everything so a low chance of naturally conceiving.

CD1 for me as AF just arrived. We are making some lifestyle changes after the SA results. My fridge has never looked so healthy! DH has also given up caffeine which is making him quite irritable! Cycle 11 here we go....

19CLT92 · 07/03/2020 17:07

Hello, hope you dont mind me joining. I am 27 and TTC my first baby, I have irregular periods I'm yet to get a positive OPK. But today I took a pregnancy test just because I had one and hadn't taken one for a month and saw this. Is it a evaporation line ?? I used that app to change it also took another right after nothing was on that one but I assume this means nothing but any ideas? Thanks xx

@Lozzlepop @Anny27 well that's how our consultant worked it out anyway.
@Anny27 yep in TWW- your favourite time of the month 🤪

@Carley321 we are now in cycle 19 and have undergone all testing and investigations with a 2nd appointment with our consultant on 23rd March. If all continues to look good we will be referred for IVF due to our age. Sounds like you've had a right journey already! The women on this thread are lovely and there's a few of us who have been kicking around for a while and feel similar in that I'd love to be so happy for anyone who gets pregnant but can't help feel jealous or disappointed when it seems so easy for others and so hard for some of us

@CoalCraft congrats on the house, great time to start prepping and nesting 😊

@whatsthecraic91 same as you in that work has seemed super busy and flown by! Pretty stressful work week for sure! Sounds like a really good approach you have there so as to not put too much pressure on yourselves. This cycle was the first time we didn't do SMEP in a long time and instead just tried every 2-3 days over a 2 week period.

I'm really tempted to test tomorrow, mainly due to this really sore right boob pain but AF isn't due until Thursday so still waaaaay too early!

CoalCraft · 07/03/2020 13:17

@whatsthecraic91 Yep! In our current house we have just a small paved patio but the new one has a lovely lawn and some flower beds, am so looking forward to enjoying them ☺️

@Lozzlepop Yup, spending all weekend preparing lol, so much to do! But all for a good thing

@Anny27 Yes it's worked out pretty well; have the house to focus on while body is sorting itself out after stopping the pill, and will be all settled in by the time of any pregnancy ☺️

Huge hugs to those who've been waiting a long time, hoping so hard for positive news for everyone ❤️

Anny27 · 07/03/2020 11:03

Morning ladies! Cd5 so last day of period for me!

@Carley321 hopefully you get some answers soon! we have been trying for 10 months now. Conceived in September and had a MMC at 11.5 weeks in November. Had a month off and have been ttc again. Yep I wish I was one of those women who DTD once 5 days before ovulation and then caught first time haha!

@CoalCraft congrats on your house! Will hopefully keep you distracted through ttc if you have the house to focus on! 💗

@whatsthecraic91 ooh fertile week 🙌 yep i hate that femometer does that!!! I have 3-5 days of EWCM so I 100% know that the first day doesnt mean ovulating haha.

@timswifey how did your follow up go lovely?

@lozzlepop new cycle and new chance hopefully! Just feel like I put a lot of things in hold due to ttc!

@kiza hopefully managing to distract yourself in the tww

Hope @orangeloo and @validuser are doing okay, not heard from them for a while xx

Morning ladies!

@Narwhal88 wow I thought they would have come back sooner than this considering the bloody sample has to be dropped off within the hour 😂😂

@whatsthecraic91 not yet- I couldn’t get a quiet place to call yesterday so will do it on Monday! That’s good that you have your letter now!

@CoalCraft oh that’s amazing, best when you don’t have a long wait, guessing you’ll be consumed with packing this weekend?

@Carley321 hello and welcome, sorry to hear you have been having a rough time of it! We are 15 months in and currently undergoing tests as we have had 4 miscarriages since May of last year 😔 its a thought journey and I never thought it would be as hard as this
