@Lottiepink it’s a telephone appointment now due to Coronavirus. I’m not sure what there would be to discuss if they told me everything is normal.

Lottiepink · 17/03/2020 08:19

Morning, catching up again 🙈🤣

@CoalCraft thank you very much, haven't temped and to be honest it maybe is taking pressure off a bit 😊 yes sounds like your body is adjusting and hopefully won't take too long, it took me a few months after coming off the pill.

@Narwhal88 oh really, yes we sound in the same situation, our second was the worst and count less than 5m and morphology 0, first one was slightly better but we aren't quite sure why it dropped ☹️ absolutely on a total health kick again now, I had already lost 3 1/2 stone since trying but I thought it was under 35 so got myself under that, and was still loosing but just slower than previously. Completely upped my game again now. Already exercised 4 times a week, and upping it to to 6/7 now but even some doing walks so it's not always vigorous as I don't want to stress my body too much! Interesting about the hyperspermia, will have a read into that also 😊

@Lozzlepop thank you, bmi is a flipping nightmare 🙈🤣 as for the toilet roll I bought a big back the other week 😂 and stocked up on a few bits and pieces just incase. It's definitely going to happen isn't it, just not knowing when!

@Kiza thank you, to be honest, I think it is easier if the issue is with the male in most circumstances as it seems to be the one most easily fixed or the ivf route from what I gather, so of the processes for females seems quite complex. Hopefully the lifestyle changes will make a difference in both of our circumstances 😊 the hypnotherapy sounds so relaxing!

@Annny27 oh the amazing 2ww 😬😬

@whatsthecraic91 sorry your temps are sitting low again, hopefully that drop means that you have now ovulated!

@KrissyMB congratulations 🥳

@mrsbttc welcome, such a great bunch on her 😊 least they're are getting the tests underway. We got both out of SA through our gp, then had the fertility app. Suppose everywhere does it differently though.

@XjustagirlX sorry you are struggling, least the tests are underway, I'm not totally sure what the next step will be as our circumstances are different. But I would assume when you go back they will go through all results. Is your app at hospital or with your gp?

Sorry for the very long post 😬😬

XjustagirlX · 17/03/2020 07:08

Hi everyone. So I’ve just got to the end of another month of not being pregnant. I’m really struggling and feel like I can’t take this anymore. We have already had SA, blood tests and ultrasound with the doctors. Everything cane back normal. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to discuss the next steps. Does anyone know what the next steps would be from the nhs? Are there any further tests they do or is it just a case of go on an ivf waiting list? Has anyone had tests privately and even though nhs tests cane back normal, private tests showing up a problem?

CoalCraft · 16/03/2020 21:17

Congratulations @KrissyMB !!!

KrissyMB · 16/03/2020 16:46

Thanks @rathernotshare bit in shock tbh

rathernotshare · 16/03/2020 13:50

@KrissyMB definitely looks that way!! Congratulations!!

whatsthecraic91 · 16/03/2020 13:27

@Annny27 yea I have had a bit and I my temp is away down this morning again so I think my body is trying again! Hopefully 🤞🏼

@Lozzlepop im overweight and I'm 10stone and a size 10/12 🙄

@Wearyandfeelingold you need a thermometer that goes to 2 decimal places. Then download any app to log it. I have a femometer thermometer and it automatically uploads to the app for me it's real handy.

KrissyMB · 16/03/2020 13:06

Guessing this is a positive 😬😬😬😬😬

Hi everyone, I have been a long term lurker... been TTC since April 19. Finally had a doctors appointment this morning.
We have blood 21 appointment on Monday, and then a day 1 period blood test the following Monday, being referred to for a scan. Been advised my husband can't have a SA until we are officially referred to the fertility clinic - has anyone else experienced this?

CoalCraft · 16/03/2020 12:24

Still in work for the time being, won't be surprised if we're all sent home in the next few weeks though.

Waaaayy too much info but... Since stopping by pill withdrawal bleed cleared up a week ago, I've noticed my CM has become a different consistency - more liquid and less... Globby (sorry)... Hoping that means things are getting back to normal in there. Definitely no ewcm yet, but I'm not expecting to ovulate yet anyway

rathernotshare · 16/03/2020 12:14

Afternoon ladies, thank you for the advice on the ovulation tests, I've ordered a months worth and see how we get on Smile I have a deep pain directly above my "mound" and wondering what this could mean? It's in the centre... my app only lets me record pain on the left or right Confused but it's definitely not cramps

Wearyandfeelingold · 16/03/2020 11:27

@whatsthecraic91 thanks I am definitely going to start temping then as well. This may sound silly...but is it a case of just taking your temperature with a normal thermometer every day and tracking it somewhere? I will definitely buy the cheapie opk strips too! There is so much to take in.

Annny27 · 16/03/2020 10:07

@KrissyMB super exciting can you get a FRER (first response test)?

@lozzlepop I am wfh and sort of social distancing, not going out on weekends and stuff at the moment. Atleast for a few weeks anyway! I think the government is right about not closing things too early but I still think people should avoid crowded areas and probably only go out for essential stuff.

Lozzlepop · 16/03/2020 10:02

Morning ladies!

Whose all at work today then? Has anyone managed to find any shop that sells toilet roll? Anyone else think we are being too slow to react to the situation and that the government needs to pull its finger out?

@whatsthecraic91its annoying huh? Plus when I went to the hospital the nurse calculated mine wrong so has put me down as overweight 😒I am super jealous of your lie in, cant remember the last time I slept past 6:30 😂

@rathernotshare sorry it was a BFN, I use the cheap tests from Amazon along with the Glow and Femometer apps which I find really good. We are in the office today but it is noticeably quieter.

@Anny27 I just hope I make the appointment and we don't go into lockdown before then.

@Kiza that is really interesting, how are you finding it? I always think that hypnotherapy sounds so relaxing!

@KrissyMB I deffo see something- I feel congratulations are in order!!

KrissyMB · 16/03/2020 08:33

@Annny27 I have no idea...I had my coil out on 12th February, I took a few opk tests but very sporadic!

Annny27 · 16/03/2020 08:31

I can see something for sure @krissyMB !!!! How many dpo are you?

@whatsthecraic91 hopefully ovulation comes soon! Are you having EWCM?

KrissyMB · 16/03/2020 07:56

Guys....am I seeing something when there is nothing??

whatsthecraic91 · 15/03/2020 09:52

@FarmerWantsABaby I don't know what the hell is going on with me, I'm hoping it happens soon but of course me stressing about it will probably make matters worse 😐

@Annny27 TWW for you - time to drive yourself mad 😂 my temp is still flat lining 😥 yea we are DTD every 3rd day all cycle like Dr said so we defo won't miss it hopefully! We are to do it tonight I'm on CD19 and I ovulated last cycle on CD20 so I'm hoping for my rise very soon.

Annny27 · 15/03/2020 07:34

Morning ladies :D 1dpo today confirmed by temp increase and a low OPK test after the peak :)

@whatsthecraic91 are you continuing with DTD untill you ovulate?

@coalcraft hope all is going well with the sorting! Were you on a progesterone only pill? Might explain the less hunger if it was

FarmerWantsABaby · 14/03/2020 20:47

@whatsthecraic91 if it's any help at all, I'm trying to work out my dates and I honestly have no idea when I ovulated. My temps and dates etc just don't make sense. Even my d21 progesterone tests indicted that I didn't ovulate on day 14. So I either ovulated very soon after AF or extremely late, but ovulating late doesn't add up with me being 7weeks +6. Sometimes our bodies are confusing 😬

CoalCraft · 14/03/2020 15:52

Quite a busy day today, got some stuff cleared out the house ahead of our move, caught up with some work (though I'm supposed to only work Mon-Fri... oh well, at least I can be at home in my comfies) and meeting the in laws later. Still managing to squeeze in some gaming though Smile

Am getting used to being off the pill - I seem to be less hungry but friskier! And no sign yet of the semi-constant spotting I had on the pill, which is nice. It'll still probably be a while before AF returns though.

@rathernotshare sorry about your bfn, fingers crossed your work isn't messing with things too much. Agree with @whatsthecraic91 that in some ways we can't win; stress about TTC when work's quiet, but stress about work when it isn't!

@Kiza ready to receive, what a lovely way of framing it

whatsthecraic91 · 14/03/2020 15:38

@Annny27 happy days you'll be in the TWW gang again soon then 😊

@rathernotshare ah right it could take a while for your AF to come then, hopefully not tho! Oh really well I'm starting to think that now too!

@Kiza could be as work has been busier this last 2 month more so this month so maybe work is stressing me 😕 I thought being busier would help with me not thinking about it - you can't win 😐

Well I've had a relaxing day so far, slept in to 9 and then didn't get out of bed to 10.30 🙈 got my eyebrows done and had a walk round the shops. Now I'm chilling with the fire lit, where I plan to stay until tomorrow night 😂

Annny27 · 14/03/2020 12:04

Yes my cycle is somewhat irregular - never too ridiculous but I definitley dint ovulate on the same day every month like some do!

That's so cool @Kiza not TTC I am RTR (ready to receive!) I actually love that!

Kiza · 14/03/2020 11:54

@Annny27 just on those last few days of old blood- how lovely 😆 that was a quick lh surge for you but glad you caught it. I think you and I both have somewhat irregular cycles so have to poas regularly just to ensure we catch it.

@whatsthecraic91 could be work stuff? I ovulated super late last month, maybe try and take it easy this weekend and incorporate some self care or downtime to remove the cortisol build up in your body.

@rathernotshare @Wearyandfeelingold
as others have said one step is really good, I buy mine from eBay. Maybe useful to use an an such as fertility friend to track your cervical mucus and opk. The app called Femometer is great for assessing your cheap opk sticks as once you've peed on them and got the reading you take a photo of it with Femometer and it interprets it as high/peak/low.

@Lottiepink good to know you're now on the route of investigations and I think we may be in a similar boat in that all my tests will come back fine and it's DP morphology at 1%. We will find out in just over a week if 3 months of lifestyle changes have made any difference. How are you feeling about the results and how's your partner with it?

Had more hypnotherapy yesterday and she said something really interesting. To reframe our terminology and stop saying 'trying' to conceive as we are telling ourselves we are prepared for failure from trying. Instead say to ourselves we are ready to receive, we are ready to welcome a baby. She's got me doing gratitude journal and daily meditation which has actually chilled me out so much.

rathernotshare · 14/03/2020 10:37

@Narwhal88 thank you
@whatsthecraic91 2 weeks ago, but just stopped the pill so who really knows! I can vouch for work not taking your mind off TTC! Infact I am questioning whether work is making me so stressed that AF may not come back
