Morning ladies! I havent posted in what feels like ages. I have been fairly caught up with all the virus stuff if I am honest and feeling pretty anxious about it all 😬😬

I am 7dpo today and no symptoms atall as to be expected so we will just wait the tww out!

@whatsthecraic91 tww buddies! Glad you finally ovulated :)

@lozzlepop I am working from home now and for the foreseeable future. Work have been pretty good with saying everything who can to wfh

@kiza oh that's good that they are doing a phone appointment:)

@timswifey how are you doing? 💗

Sorry I havent read all the messages yet but I will scroll back and get back to everyone:)

Narwhal88 · 21/03/2020 10:16

@CoalCraft I have spotting before AF but not other times. I have heard of other women getting it though. Remember the pill is still in your system and it can take months for your body to regulate. Try not to worry, doctors all say that spotting doesn't matter for fertility, though who knows. I would say if it hasn't stopped after 6 months TTC off the pill then go back to your GP but hopefully you won't need to Smile

CoalCraft · 21/03/2020 09:12

@Gem8930 good luck for when you test!

@Carley321 so sorry you've been left feeling like that, they really shouldn't leave you feeling so uncertain. Hugs and I hope you get your answers soon.

@Kiza and @Narwhal88 good to hear your appointments are going ahead, albeit over the phone. Hoping for positive news and a sense of direction for you both.

Feeling a bit crap today - the bleeding's back. I've had light off-and-on spotting for years now. Two GP's and a nurse have all had a look and told me it's just the pill (even though I was on the pill for two years before it started) and not to worry, and I'd hoped that it would stop now I've come off the pill, but it's here again this morning. I don't mind the bleeding itself, I'm just worried it says something negative about my fertility Sad

I'm probably just being impatient. I only took my last pill around the 2nd and my body is probably just trying to sorry itself out, but after a couple weeks of no bleeding after the withdrawal bleed I was starting to think maybe it was just the pill all along.

Ah well. I'll give it some time, see if it does settle away by itself. Anyone have anything similar?

Narwhal88 · 21/03/2020 00:13

@Carley321 I'm so sorry you are feeling so down. It really is heartbreaking. Especially at the moment as everything seems like it's on hold and investigations and treatment delayed :( I've read before that endometriosis is quite specialist and needs to be removed carefully and different techniques can be used. So maybe it wasn't removed as they need to look into the best way to do it first? Have a look on the endometriosis uk website as it has lots of advice. Please don't give up hope, your journey is long and heartbreaking but there is so much hope and positivity that you will get your baby one day.

@Kiza I am the medicines procurement lead for a big trust and registered Pharmacy technician. So behind the scenes with no patient contact but a critical support role. We are looking into working from home but we still need some people in the office.
My appointment for Tuesday is now a telephone consultation too, which I'm ok about as like you I was praying it wasn't cancelled. I'm on leave now until Wednesday. Pretty scared about how things are getting.

This does at least seem to be keeping me distracted at the moment but still worried about how much this will delay any treatment we need including ivf if we need it. Most people's ivf has been cancelled which is sure to cause a backlog :(
I hope everyone is ok ❤️

Kiza · 20/03/2020 21:03

@Carley321 I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling this way, that sounds really frustrating and unfair that you were not able to talk to anyone properly about it afterwards. Are you able to call your consultant and ask for a telephone session to discuss the findings/ reasons why it wasn't removed and what the next steps are for you?

@Narwhal88 do you mind me asking what you do in the nhs? I work in CAMHS and we are switching 90% of our sessions to telephone except the high risk patients. We will possibly be redeployed to different parts of the service also.

I now have 3 days off before back in the thick of work next week. Our follow up consultant appointment on Monday has now been changed to telephone which we are very grateful for as I assumed it would be postponed so at least we still get to hear the results of all our tests and discuss next steps.

Hope everyone's doing ok and managing to keep anxieties at bay. Take care of yourselves and each other

whatsthecraic91 · 20/03/2020 20:30

Hey all! Been an absolutely hectic week! Finally ovulated so I'm 4DPO and in the TWW. I've a lot of distractions at the minute so it will fly in 🤞🏼

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Carley321 · 20/03/2020 13:32

Hi ladies I’ve missed a few pages. But hope you are all well?

Well I’ve just had my lap and dye. Endometriosis was found on the back of my womb and some either side. It’s moderate and he didn’t remove it, I don’t know why!
I’m heartbroken and so disheartened with shitty news after shitty news. I fee like we haven’t been given a break since we started having investigations. I’m so lost with it all and didn’t get to speak to anyone so completely oblivious as to why it wasn’t removed l, what it means, what I can do to help and a million other things. I’m guessing I won’t find out anytime soon either which just makes me feel like curling up under a rock and sleeping the world away.

Any positive information or stories would be so appreciated ❤️

Factualmistakes · 19/03/2020 12:16

@CoalCraft thanks for your kind words and fingers crossed you move will go smoothly!

Gem8930 · 19/03/2020 10:34

@coalcraft
Im goin wait wait 2 weeks. I had my peak on monday. But have been so crampy sunday yesterday and today 🤷 has anyone had this before?

CoalCraft · 19/03/2020 06:47

@Lozzlepop Still in work at the moment too, though most aren't; I'm part of the skeleton crew that's left in the office because a portion of my job requires on-site equipment that can't be taken home, no one in my household is ill, and I'm not in an at risk group. It's so surreal at the moment with just a handful of us rattling around in a huge office space!

Good in a way to hear AF arrived for you, hopefully then your tests can proceed

@KrissyMB I'm sure your cramps are nothing to worry about, though I know for sure I'd be over-analysing every little thing in your position too!

@Factualmistakes I'm trying not to let the corona crisis stress me out too much, just keep reminding myself that I'm not personally at much risk and relatives who are more vulnerable are safely isolated, so just have to ride it out. I figure even if I caught now, the worst would have blown over by the time baby came, and the virus doesn't seem to be particularly dangerous to pregnant women or unborn babies any more than any other respiratory infection.

Completely reasonable to be anxious though, and it wouldn't be nice to have to say about pregnancy earlier than you'd like. I wouldn't blame anyone for putting off TTC for a spell.

@Gem8930 Fingers crossed for you at the end of your tww! Are you gonna test early or wait for AF to be late?

@Narwhal88 it is weird isn't it, thinking that in a way you'd like to be in a high risk group, but I completely get how you feel

I think I've been thinking about TTC too much; having loads of vivid dreams about being pregnant or having a baby. I should get a grip 🙈

On a slightly more serious note, I'm crossing everything I have that the virus doesn't interfere with my move. The move is on Monday so hopefully we'll just squeak in before things reach a peak.

Narwhal88 · 18/03/2020 21:06

Hi all just catching up! I'm not wfh yet, even though I probably could. I work in the NHS but our trust hasn't made the call for wfh yet and I don't have a laptop. I feel like I'm in the calm before the storm and my job is going to get very stressful in the coming weeks/months! Everyone at work is talking about guidelines for pregnancy and someone else announced they are pregnant today. It feels like I'm constantly being reminded that I'm not high risk as I'm not pregnant yet when I thought I would be by now...obviously I know I wouldn't want to be high risk but it still makes me sad.

@Lottiepink that's disappointing that it went down, though samples can vary so it doesn't mean it has got worse. How healthy are you being? I'm worried we aren't doing enough. We are eating more fruit and veg now. I want DH to get more exercise but his knee is really bad at the moment and he can't do more than walking. I need more exercise too but I feel it will make more difference in his case.

Fingers crossed for your appointments @Kiza @Lozzlepop mine is on Tuesday and I am desperately hoping it isn't cancelled. At the moment my hospital is saying appointments are going ahead but they are changing things daily.

Kiza · 18/03/2020 20:05

@Lozzlepop I think our appointment on Monday is still going ahead as we haven't heard my different as of yet. Hope yours still goes ahead as I know you've been waiting a while.

I'm still in the office as I work in CAMHS so mental health services are really struggling right now with lots of crisis calls. We are being asked to switch some support to telephone but of course some face to face has to happen. Very short staffed though so it's quite stressful!

@XjustagirlX sorry to hear you're feeling so down. When we were at that stage we were then referred to the fertility clinic within the nhs, when we met her she ordered more tests such hsg and some more blood work.

Gem8930 · 18/03/2020 17:50

Hi everyone 😊
TTC this is my 2nd month of trying.. Disappointing when AF arrives. Have started using ovulation test. Started get what i assume are ovulation cramps on 15th.. Going by the test i ovulated on 16/03/20.. DTD on 12th 15th and 16th. Now in TWW keeping positive and trying not to get my hopes up too much which is hard 🙈

Factualmistakes · 18/03/2020 16:39

@KrissyMB seeing as a bit of light is a good way to be I think. I'm not usually one to get stressed or anxious so it is completely out of character for me.

KrissyMB · 18/03/2020 15:06

@Factualmistakes um, I mean yes its uncertain time but it won't put a dampner on how I feel tbh, and just need to go with it. I see it as a bit of light in a dark time

Lozzlepop · 18/03/2020 14:50

@KrissyMB cramps this early are fairly standard I think, I had them 2 or 3 times whilst pregnant. Feel ok about AF as it means that I can get my HSG in a few weeks......if it is still going ahead that is!!

@Factualmistakes I am quite relieved that we are not atm as my anxiety is just through the roof just now!

Factualmistakes · 18/03/2020 14:11

Anyone else feel like it's the worst time to be TTC now? I know there isn't much you can do about it if you have caught this cycle but I don't think the current situation is helping anyone's stress levels!
Also I feel like if I do get a BFP in the next couple of months I have no choice but to tell my boss earlier than anyone usually would as I work in the NHS (thankfully not front line work though)
Overall a pretty uncertain time at the moment.

KrissyMB · 18/03/2020 13:12

@Lozzlepop I'm still not in the stage of believing it really and keep being paranoid at everything that my body is doing. Currently having tummy cramps similar to period/ovulation pain! Annoying! How are you feeling with AF arriving?

Lozzlepop · 18/03/2020 11:35

Hey all, sorry just catching up now!

How are we all doing in these uncertain times? Is everyone wfh? We are STILL in the office- madness! We have a meeting at 1pm to discuss going to skeleton staffing!

@KrissyMB congrats again, how are you feeling?

@whatsthecraic91 yeah I am under 10 stone and a size 10 but still almost at the overweight bracket!

@XjustagirlX nice to see you back, sorry you are having a rough time. I don't have any experience in regards to testing but I know when it comes to recurrent miscarriage testing the NHS dont test for as many things as they do privately so it could be the same?

@Lottiepink I think I will need to go on a loo roll finding expedition, the in laws are self isolating for 12 weeks so cant even ask them to have a look around durning the day when more likely to find some.

In other news AF has arrived!! Lets hope my HSG is still going ahead 🤞🏻

CoalCraft · 18/03/2020 06:54

@mrsbttc So sorry, realised I missed your message, welcome! Sorry you've been waiting so long and I really hope you get some answers through testing soon xx

@XjustagirlX Sorry your struggling, it can be so hard and so frustrating when "everything's normal" but you're still not getting your bfp Flowers I'm afraid I don't have the experience to say what the next steps are but wishing you all the best, hope things move forward swiftly for you.

@Lottiepink Thanks! It's quite interesting in a weird way watching my body change without the pill 😅

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 20:18

@rathernotshare I'm 32, 33 in December. I did the odd ovulation test but everytime I did one the line seemed so faint so thought there was no point! Turns out I must have ovulated at some point!

rathernotshare · 17/03/2020 18:25

@KrissyMB I'm guessing you didn't test ovulation then? I'm really chuffed for you! Do you mind if I ask how old you are? You've given me hope that I may catch without bleeding but obviously we're all different!!

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 18:07

Nope. Had no bleeding at all @rathernotshare. I didn't bleed on coil either. I didnt think I'd catch this quick. I was testing leading up to the month after coil removed all negative, so waited until yesterday to test again and it was positive, so a month and 4 days after coil removed x

rathernotshare · 17/03/2020 17:30

@KrissyMB did you have AF after having your coil removed? I've been waiting since end of jan!!

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 09:49

Thanks @lottiepink 🥰
