@Lozzlepop yep it's really cool.

We didn't manage to BD at all in this FWW so won't be in the TWW this time round.

Due to his eye DP managed to fall up the stairs and had a busted ankle to his woes.

Oh well nothing broken luckily so onto
Next month.

Hoping to see some bfps for everyone else though xx

Lozzlepop · 01/06/2020 10:18

Hi ladies,

Happy Monday- I can’t believe it’s June, absolutely mental! Sorry for the radio silence last week was a crappy week as found out my job is being made redundant- so if I want to stay with the company I have to reapply for a job, still on furlough and all wedding plans are on hold so it’s been a bit meh!

@lizzie198 wow that’s amazing, I’ve never heard of that before- do you just do it yourself at home?

@Kiza no news from the hospital but we are only just into phase one here so we can meet other people outside but shops etc are mostly still shut! How are things with you?

@Annny27 still no idea when next tests are- guessing July at earliest. Hoping they can perform both at the same time to save multiple trips 🤞🏻How are you?

@XjustagirlX nice to see you back, hope you are doing well and recovering from the ectopic- I can’t begin to imagine how scary that must have been!

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the sun on this glorious Monday ☀️ Xx

Kiza · 31/05/2020 16:17

@orangeloo oh I understand and yes you're right, super expensive just for a relaxing treatment. I wonder if there's a fertility Accupuncturist in your area that may work a bit differently? Sorry to hear you've been feeling so low and down, I think for you it's not just the infertility but also the fact you've been trying to fight so hard to get people to listen to your spotting and progesterone issue. Hope you're feeling a bit better today

@XjustagirlX lovely to have you back and that you didn't need to have any medical intervention. Any type of mc is bloody awful and comes with such a mixed bag of emotions that we can't prepare for. Glad that furlough is helping. I've found just working from home has taken a huge amount of stress from work and DP and I have had so much laughter and fun since both WFH.

@Annny27 yeah I'd heard about the feet being warm thing too! She also told me to stop buying all the supplements under the sun and a good folic acid and B vitamins is enough as high protein leafy green diet should suffice. It's hard to not take all my supps though as I've been on them for so long now!

Currently 4dpo (well I had 2 days of peak so never know which one to count it from?)

How's everyone's weekend been? Enjoying the sun and relaxing? Are any of you making plans to see friends/ family now some of the restrictions are lifted?

Annny27 · 30/05/2020 11:20

@XjustagirlX welcome back lovely. Glad you are ready to ttc again 🙌 what was your previous strategy that worked?

@orangeloo so sorry lovely :( did you do the progesterone tests this month the urine tests? Would have been interesting to see either the suppositories helped and it might be that the spotting isn't progesterone related

orangeloo · 30/05/2020 08:50

@Wearyandfeelingold sorry to hear you've been down. I've had a very bad week myself. Could not bear to be alone with my thoughts yesterday so had to try and keep busy constantly. Hope your are feeling g a bit brighter today.

@Kiza glad you enjoyed the acupuncture. I have tried it. I loved the relaxation of it. But it did not change my spotting or cycle whatsoever so I decided it was very expensive relaxation and maybe that money so be put towards treatments etc. I really wish it had worked for me though.

@XjustagirlX I'm glad things resolved themselves for you. It is a lot easier to fit all the bding in in FW being on furlough.

The spotting from Monday eased off but sadly never went away completely 12DPO bfn on an IC and FRER this morn so no more suppositories this cycle. I will speak to the clinic on Monday to see what next steps are and just try enjoy this sunny weekend. I'm glad I tested Thursday as this morning was a bit easier to take.

Hope you all have lovely weekend.

XjustagirlX · 29/05/2020 14:58

Hi everyone.

I’ve been away for a couple of months due to my ectopic. Luckily I decided to wait and see instead of having surgery or the injection. Thankfully it went away on its own but it was scary.

I ovulated within a couple of days of getting a negative pregnancy test. I waited for 1 AF and I am now about to ovulate again today and we are trying to replicate our previous strategy and hope it works again.

After being pregnant with the ectopic I noticed my symptoms were an implantation dip on bbt, bubbling feeling in tummy and also a peak on an ovulation test.

I’m actually finding I’m much more relaxed on furlough and lockdown so I’m hoping it will have us conceive as I’m significantly less stressed.

Annny27 · 29/05/2020 13:00

@kiza yeah I try to keep my feet warm during the tww as apparently cold feet means cold uterus! So aids implantation if feet are warm

I will try boost my protein as well then! Glad the appointment went well

Wearyandfeelingold · 29/05/2020 12:45

@Kiza yes I think its only natural to get down a bit about it all sometimes. But you are right - need to focus on other things as well and try not to let it become my sole focus. I never thought getting pregnant would be as difficult. My mum and my sister both had children at my age so I am holding on to that. Thanks for your advice. Glad that the acupuncture went well for you.

Kiza · 29/05/2020 12:36

Hi Ladies,
I'm not sure if you've said before @orangeloo but have you tried Accupuncture?
@timswifey I'm with you on the running out of energy! Difficult to stop make it fun near the end of the fertile window 😄
@Annny27 let's hope it's an early ovulation for you!

@Wearyandfeelingold sorry to hear you're feeling so glum. I think we all go through that from time to time and it's hard to remain positive. I've found trying to focus on other areas of my life has made it a bit easier at times, also affirmations and therapeutic work really help.

Accupuncture last night was great, she's connected to all the IVF clinics in Birmingham so very experienced in fertility. A very thorough assessment (she said I need to increase protein even more!) and she focussed on getting good blood flow to my uterus and the spotting issue as she said implantation appears to be an issue. She also used a heat lamp over my uterus and lower back.
She was telling me how I'm China their attitude to fertility is so different to ours. They don't use any medication only Accupuncture and Chinese herbs. Also she said as Westerners we are far too much in a rush to conceive and need to practise patience and in China they accept it can take a few years for most people. She put some needles on points for my mind to help too and said getting our minds in the right place helps to with patience and positivity.

Wearyandfeelingold · 29/05/2020 11:46

@whatsthecraic91 I haven't been on here lately but just saw your news! Congratulations! That is fantastic news - hope all goes well and I am sure that the spotting is ok.

We are still trying....I am getting so downhearted about it. I just keep thinking its never going to happen and our body clocks just keep ticking away. Really thought this month might be it but can feel that af is on its way.

Just have to keep on trying.

Good luck to everyone!

Annny27 · 28/05/2020 20:25

@timswifey We are dtd every other day up until when I think I have ovulated. Its so much nicer and less stress now we are wfh. It used to be a chore to fit in dtd alongside commuting and work etc but now we have more time at home:D

@kiza glad you are getting your acupuncture again soon- hopefully it will reduce some stress :) we dtd on cd7 and today (cd9) so will just carry on untill probably cd16 maybe later maybe earlier depending on ovulation haha!

@whatsthecraic91 oh lovely hopefully its just some minor spotting. I had no spotting when I was pregnant but I still miscarried so it doest mean anything really!

@orangeloo let us know how the spotting goes over next few days

timswifey · 28/05/2020 20:14

@Anny27 day 7 here - plan is to DTD every other day from day 11-21.

I just run out of energy haha!

whatsthecraic91 · 28/05/2020 19:03

@Annny27 hey 👋🏼 I really miss you ladies! No we aren't going to find out we want to keep it a surprise! Having a bit of a bad day, quite crampy and spotting a bit, midwife says not to panic as around about now I'm missing my second AF so it's normal. So hard not to worry tho! Hope everyone's doing good and enjoying this fab weather x

orangeloo · 28/05/2020 12:31

Thanks both @Annny27 and @Kiza yes exasperated is a good word! I really hope it is just a case of my body getting used to it. I have no idea. I'll wait out this cycle then I will speak to clinic.

That is an early Ov, have u done anything different this cycle? Good luck at the acupuncturist. Enjoy it.

Kiza · 28/05/2020 12:04

@orangeloo do you think it may take a couple of months for your body to adapt to the progesterone as I know this is your first month using the suppositories? Can understand the exasperated feeling and being down with it as you've been trying to deal with this issue for so long and most of the doctors have not been understanding or acknowledging of it at all.

@Annny27 yeah and luckily started DTD I'm cd 8 so managed to get 3 loads in for this O cycle. When do you start DTD?
Got my Accupuncture appointment today with a different therapist who apparently specialises in fertility so let's see 🤞🏼

Annny27 · 28/05/2020 10:27

Hi ladies :) been a bit quiet as been doing a lot of DIY this week - gorgeous weather here about 25° for the past few days! Its lovely

@whatsthecraic91 yes please pop in occasionally to let us know how you get on. Will you find out the gender?

@orangeloo let's hope that the spotting is implantation! That's frustrating though :( hopefully the spotting eases off xx

@kiza ooh early ovulation is always a plus :D I am cd9 today and not had any ewcm yet just wattery/ nearly ewcm so ovulation probably a week away

@lizzie198 I have heard of the saliva test, its called a fern test on the app that I use. Really interesting!

@Lozzlepop cd9 for me so just plodding in and did every other day! Whens your next set of tests?

@timswifey where are you with your cycle atm?

orangeloo · 28/05/2020 07:29

@Kiza not good. I woke up to spotting at 7DPO?!? I'm on progesterone to stop that. Don't know what to do anymore. I caved and tested this morn bfn but it was a cheapie. Will confirm with a FRER in a day or two and stop taking the progesterone feel very low. It's like my lining doesn't respond as it should maybe. I really don't know, feeling pretty low. X how are you?

How is everyone else?

Kiza · 28/05/2020 07:24

@orangeloo how are you getting on?

Kiza · 26/05/2020 19:08

@lizzie198 that ovulation teat sounds pretty cool! Ouch for your partner though!!! Are you due to ovulate soon?

@Lozzlepop I've been loving the sun since moving back to England from Aberdeen, although been trying to buy a sun lounger and can't find one anywhere! Have you heard anything from your clinic yet?

Looks like I'm O a little early this cycle, positive OPK today cd11 and managed to get a little BD in. Got a missed call from my consultant so wonder if my AMH blood tests are back?

@orangeloo 8DPO for you, how you getting on?

lizzie198 · 26/05/2020 16:51

@Lozzlepop it's another type of ovulation test that uses your saliva on a microscope.

When the hormones are right for ovulation the dots you can see under the microscope make a fern leaf pattern.

In the build up though the dots start to form
Lines so you know your getting close. I really like it so far.

Doing the normal OPK's alongside though just so I can compare reliability.

Lozzlepop · 26/05/2020 15:48

Hi ladies,

Happy Tuesday! How are we all? Hows the weather where you are? Its only 19 degrees here but I feel like I am on my holidays!

@Narwhal88 haha I can just imagine, we were the same at the start of lockdown when I was still working. The funny thing is he does have a desk but it has his gaming computer on it. New desk is all built now so just waiting on a power adapter coming which is currently doing a tour of the UK 😂

@Kiza thats ok, although you did have me wondering for a minute if you knew something that I didn't lol! Aw thats nice, I cant wait to be able to do things with other people again. The in laws dropped off some ice cream on the weekend so that was the first time we've seen them and was nice to have a 5 min chat!

@timswifey the weather was awful at the weekend but thankfully it has cleared up and the sun is back which is making this all a little bit easier!

@whatsthecraic91 so glad that everything went well with the scan, its a really amazing clear picture for 8 weeks too, you must be so relieved ❤️

@lizzie198 whats the maybe baby test? Hopefully DP is feeling better soon!

Hows everyone else doing? Anyone testing soon or getting appointments back on track? Hope everyone is well xx

lizzie198 · 26/05/2020 10:01

Hi ladies just been catching up on all the news 😊

@whatsthecraic91 what a wonderful image congratulations xx

I've been using the maybe baby test for ovulation alongside one step OPK's and have to say I'm impressed.

It shows progression towards ovulation and makes me feel a lot happier about what's going on. Would recommend.

Not sure if we will even manage to BD during fertile window however as DP managed to get something in his eye on Saturday which resulted in an A&E trip and turns out he's scratched all the surface of the eye and is in quite a bit of pain.

Thought it would be useful to start tracking again though start to build up the patterns 😊

Hope everyone had a nice bank holiday xx

orangeloo · 25/05/2020 09:18

@whatsthecraic91 that's wonderful! So happy for you Smilex

whatsthecraic91 · 25/05/2020 08:38

@Annny27 thank you ❤️ so glad I have gave yous hope 😊x

@timswifey thank you, hope you're doing well x

I'll keep you all updated, I'll drop by in a few weeks time again. Wishing you all baby dust & all the luck 🍀🤞🏼 xx

timswifey · 24/05/2020 22:36
