Hi ladies, I thought after months of reading everyone's fertility posts online I'd come on in the hope to just vent etc to those trying.
I have 2 beautiful daughters 5+6 conceived first month first try - I'm now on 6 month trying with 3 chemical pregnancies so it's getting very emotional now and draining, draining because Ive has the positive tests and then started bleeding so this month I've vowed to not test until I'm a few days late! My cycles are like clockwork 28 days, I've ovulated a day early on day 11 I have my positive so I'm hoping that's a good sign, I'm taking vitamins and folic and had a lot of bed time ... hoping this is the month but going to do my best to relax! :)

This will be my first Smile x

Missgoldilocks · 03/03/2020 15:56

@organicsmorganic I have one son who is 8:)

OrganicSmorganic · 03/03/2020 15:31

Can I ask whether you are all first timers having children or do you have children already? If so, how many?

I’ll go first, I have three children and this would be my fifth pregnancy (if I’ve conceived) after a miscarriage between number one and number two.

shelly10111 · 03/03/2020 14:21

Sounds good ladies keep fingers crossed for you, I'm batting against a brick wall but everytime I get pains and get a spot of brown I think I've come on and I haven't just yet so I still have that pathetic smudge of hope in my heart xx

Hi. Thought I'd join in - 8dpo and need something to take my mind off the waiting! Smile

No current symptoms, although my post ovulation temps are up and down like crazy (all above the cover line though), dont know if this can mean anything.
I'm just happy to be getting slight back to normal after extremely long cycles since the pill.

Good luck to all of you!!

OrganicSmorganic · 03/03/2020 13:30

9DPO here and period is due on Saturday 7th March.

I have been getting mild period-type aches since yesterday, also a sourish taste in my mouth, I felt like I was coming down with a cold yesterday, felt really emotional too and had a backache. My boobs are on fire.

I don’t usually get period aches until a few hours before my period is due though so it’s odd for me to get them so early.

It’s driving me mad that all this could also be PMS symptoms too. 😆

shelly10111 · 03/03/2020 12:49

@Shefliesonherownwings thanks lovely ! Stay positive and believe In your body, also private clinics are fab for early scans etc, for reassurance maybe, thank you nice to hear that, I've been cramping on and off I just can't understand how the rapid response didn't have a hint of a line and the cheapies all had faint lines and one quite dark line... weird, but not getting down on myself. X

Shefliesonherownwings · 03/03/2020 12:24

@shelly10111 thanks for asking after me. I'm ok, I've taken another test this morning and the line is pretty clear and getting stronger on the IC and FRER.

I am totally terrified though, because of what happened to us. We will be seeing a consultant asap to come up with a plan but I'm still expecting something to go wrong any day. I tried to just ignore it and not test but I think testing and seeing those lines is actually helping me.

How are you doing? I'm sorry if AF arrives but until she's in full force, you still have a chance. X

shelly10111 · 03/03/2020 10:51

I'm spotting brown haven't tested today as I can just feel AF on her way

@Shefliesonherownwings how are you getting on? Xx

shelly10111 · 02/03/2020 14:33

Yep either chemical or accu news tests are bad so avoid maybe, five faint positives and a clear BFN with rapid response which showed up at 10dpo last time and I'm really sore so I'm guessing period will be early too, sigh, into month 7 we go

Another chemical I think for me, five faint tests and not getting darker, I know I'm only 12dpo but thought this morning if it wasn't another chemical it would be darker as got a faint line two days ago...

Fingers crossed for you @shelly10111
11dpo here and nothing on my tests. Well, I kind of thought there was a line...but I think I have line eyes 👀
Have the best day everyone

shelly10111 · 01/03/2020 19:18

This is mine mine full dried ladies, had a stabbing twinge on off all day and boobs are really sore, here's to praying it's not another chemical as this test progressed way after the window, think now I just have to wait until due day (Friday) and see if period arrives, I'm saving my digital for a clear line 🥵

@karenkeys I thought I could see the tiniest hint of something on an IC but it was a real squinter and I wasnt sure at all so I thought I'd check with a FRER fully expecting it to be a very clear BFN but then the faint line came up.

I'm going to try to forget I even saw those lines and just ignore it all if I can for the next few days until AF is late or turns up.

karenkeys · 01/03/2020 12:31

@Shefliesonherownwigs Congrats, but yeah just don’t get too excited as it’s quite early! Fingers crossed it sticks 😀 I find it hard to see but was your IC test negative? If so I’m definitely going straight for my FRER for my next test incase I am pregnant and the IC is just not showing yet

Shefliesonherownwings · 01/03/2020 11:29

Sorry just read your post about why you don't use FRERS which makes complete sense. I'm going to try to forget seeing that line in case it turns into a chemical or MC. @shelly10111 test tomorrow and see if there's more of a line.

Shefliesonherownwings · 01/03/2020 11:27

@shelly10111 I can see a line on all your pictures and usually I am terrible at seeing other people's lines. I would highly recommend using a FRER, they do seem more sensitive.

As expected I caved this morning and tested. I am in shock a little and absolutely terrified because of what happened to us last year with losing our DD. Will no doubt be checking lots more over the next few days too.

shelly10111 · 01/03/2020 10:57

@Missgoldilocks I use them every month, this is the first month I'm not because they are always positive ie they pick up all chemicals and these are usually negative so I actually don't rate first response, they bring a lot of heartache as they basically pick up a fertilised egg that doesn't even Implant and I don't find that logical as most woman get pregnant each month but it doesn't implant xx

OP posts:
Missgoldilocks · 01/03/2020 10:51

@shelly10111 I see something defo but if you're going to test early I would definitely say use first response for more accuracy x

shelly10111 · 01/03/2020 10:46

Maybe a better pic

Hi ladies here's my 11dpo BUT this test didn't darken until an hour after the time scale, it was so so light until it dried... hoping it's the start of a bfp and NOT another chemical !

I got a BFN when testing at 10 DPO this morning so not feeling very positive now. I did so well tonight at the family gathering and managed to pretend to drink but just had soda water and lime all night with no alcohol. Will try another test on Monday to see if there’s anything. Hoping we have some positives being announced here soon!

shelly10111 · 29/02/2020 20:33

@KC68 thanks losing the will to live with all the umming and arring, trying not to get hopes up because if it's negative stark white tomorrow I'll be gutted xx

Morning!
10 dpo here and I also caved and did a test this morning... nothing to report (BFN) hopefully I’m just way too early!

@shelly10111 I see something for sure!
