Hi ladies, I thought after months of reading everyone's fertility posts online I'd come on in the hope to just vent etc to those trying.
I have 2 beautiful daughters 5+6 conceived first month first try - I'm now on 6 month trying with 3 chemical pregnancies so it's getting very emotional now and draining, draining because Ive has the positive tests and then started bleeding so this month I've vowed to not test until I'm a few days late! My cycles are like clockwork 28 days, I've ovulated a day early on day 11 I have my positive so I'm hoping that's a good sign, I'm taking vitamins and folic and had a lot of bed time ... hoping this is the month but going to do my best to relax! :)

Not sure exactly when AF due. Looking at what I think my LP was last cycle, it would mean it's due today, 12dpo.
And also getting negative tests. Having a few cramps but my BBT is still high so..?
We both will have to wait and see. Take a test tomorrow and us know how you get on!! Have you been temp charting? X

OrganicSmorganic · 07/03/2020 17:05

AF is possibly 2 days late but I’m still getting BFN on FRER.

I have a metallic taste, watery mouth, sore boobs and I’m not getting the usual PMS symptoms...

I know from experience that it takes a few days past my missed period for a BFP to show so hopefully I’ll get one tomorrow.

Throughout this TWW I’ve been thinking yes I am, no I’m not, yes I am and back and forth but right now I think 100% that I am.

Eek!

shelly10111 · 06/03/2020 14:55

@MabelBunny4 I know I feel a bit like a tic tax box but I'm sure it can't do harm? I'm taking folic, vit c with iron and then now the vitamin D, bring on next week, fresh cycle fresh start 😂😭

@Annajay12 I’ve not been actively trying for 12 months, only really the last 2. But not been on the pill so not not trying if that makes sense 🙈
But yes, I definitely feel like before I assumed any little accident and I’d be pregnant, the reality is so different!!

@shelly10111 I might add some vitamin d 👍🏼 I mean, is it bad to be taking so many things, some mornings I feel like I’m taking such a concoction of capsules and tablets!

shelly10111 · 06/03/2020 14:24

I've added vitamin D into all the potions I'm currently taking to get pregnant, feeling like it won't ever happen!!!

@MabelBunny4 12 months.. I feel for you. Makes me realise how silly I was in past when i would panic over missing 1 pill etc. You just dont appreciate how long it can take until you actually start trying x

MabelBunny4 · 05/03/2020 14:56

@shelly10111 I got all of mine from amazon, there are links in the blog post on have linked above, on her instagram highlights she has posted all of the messages from ladies like us TTC who have started taking her recommended vitamins and it’s worked!

@Annajay12 I’ve been off the pill since last April so almost 12 months so totally know how you feel not being able to understand your cycles like everyone else seems to be able to do so easily!

shelly10111 · 05/03/2020 13:23

@MabelBunny4 oh I love her I listen to her podcast ! Hmm ok I'm not sure where to get the second one from but I'm taking folic every day :( xx

@shelly10111 hey! I've been taking foloc acid and foliate (I switch between each day) maca root powder in tablet form, vitamin d, multviti, coq10, zinc.

I give my partner vitamin c, zinc, vitamin d, coq10 and every other day multivitamin.

I've been trying 7 months too, been taking all these pillsaybe 3 months consistently. I think it's really good for the man but it does take 3 months for the sperm to change once he starts taking it all. X

Annajay12 · 05/03/2020 13:20

@Missgoldilocks been off the pill since October.
Quite annoying as I don't know how long my luteul phase normally is so dont even know the day I'm due AF :(

MabelBunny4 · 05/03/2020 12:46

I’ve been taking folic acid, coq10 and DHA since TTC.
I read a lot of testimonials on Instagram after they were recommended by Luisa Zissman on her blog (which makes for interesting reading!!)

www.luisazissman.co.uk/?p=647

I’m not a success story yet but have only officially been trying this month, and fell with a chemical last month whilst taking these supplements when we weren’t actively trying, so hoping this is our month, trying SO hard to wait til the end of the month to test (as my cycle is irregular so I’m not even sure when I ovulated or when AF is due!) so watch this space!

shelly10111 · 05/03/2020 11:08

Morning Ladies, can anyone recommend some good treatment ie vitamins for getting pregnant? I'm taking folic but now 7 months trying I think I may try something new ? Xx

Missgoldilocks · 04/03/2020 22:41

@annajay12 definitely try hold back lol I'm getting super tempted to test but a bfn breaks my heart! How long have you been trying?

@organicsmorganic yes lol I think you did the right thing, luckily he's stopped asking me about it now! Hopefully soon I can gube him good news

Annajay12 · 04/03/2020 22:24

@OrganicSmorganic its soooooo hard!! May have to hide the tests and forget where I put them Haha
But your right, I don't really want to waste them or put myself in a crap mood when I get a BFN through testing too early.

Keep me updated on how you get on :)

OrganicSmorganic · 04/03/2020 21:10

@Annajay12 thank you, and you! 🍀🍀🍀

I’m 10dpo and just had a bfn however I’m optimistic as history tells me that I don’t get a BFF until I’ve missed AF so there’s still hope!

I’d try and hold off if I were you, it’s asking the impossible but it does save a horrible bfn if too early 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Annajay12 · 04/03/2020 20:35

@OrganicSmorganic I have my fingers crossed for you !!
I have no symptoms either. Had slight cramping at about 5dpo but probably means nothing. How many dpo are you? I'm 9 today and feel like if been waiting the longest time already 🙄 would it be acceptable to take a test at 10dpo? Hmm

OrganicSmorganic · 04/03/2020 15:15

@Annajay12 this will be our first month trying 🤞🏻

OrganicSmorganic · 04/03/2020 15:14

So last week I had all sorts of symptoms going on (period due in 3 days) and now everything has settled down. No sore boobs, no back ache, no achiness, no emotional stuff.

If I was pregnant then this would have got worse, no? And not eased off?

shelly10111 · 03/03/2020 21:44

Trying for my third, daughters both 5+7 very mature and forward asking about when we are having a baby, we didn't think it would be taking this long for our third and final

OrganicSmorganic · 03/03/2020 19:31

Missgoldilocks aww that’s cute, he will be so excited when it happens! No, I haven’t told them lol I don’t think I could stand the constant questions about when the baby will be born 😆

Annajay12 it can take a few cycles to settle into a rhythm, that sounds like you’re on a roll now! First month trying for us.

Annajay12 · 03/03/2020 18:05

@OrganicSmorganic how long have you been trying?

Annajay12 · 03/03/2020 17:33

@OrganicSmorganic I came off the pill in October but since then had a 45 day and a 70 day cycle, and had no idea if I was even ovulating.
This time ovulated on day 20 confirmed with opk and bbt so 🤞

Missgoldilocks · 03/03/2020 17:08

@organicsmorganic I told him 7 months ago that I had the plan to have one lol I'm sure he's forgotten by now!! I thought it would happen straight away like it did with him! He was happy though 😊. Have you told yours?

OrganicSmorganic · 03/03/2020 16:53

missgoldilocks have you told him that you have brother/sister plans for him or will it be a surprise?

Annajay12 can I ask, have you been trying for long?

Foreverblowingbubbles18 · 03/03/2020 16:44

Hi ladies, I'm now 10DPO, and defo think I'm out this month- have the teeniest bit of discharge since ovulating and normally i have quite a bit on a usual day. Sometimes feel like my boobs are sore but just think I'm imagining it. Don't even have an urge to take a test that's how much I feel I'm out this month! X
