Would you expect an opk to look like this the day after Supposed af?

I took a frer yesterday and posted a pic further up the thread and there was a shadow of a line but has now since disappeared, DP has said test again at weekend which i will but then i will just get on with it

I have no symptoms of pcos, think i will just plod along as there is alot of mixed answers so i will just keep going as i am, thankyou for all your replys

I’d take a pg test. It’s the only way you’ll know for sure.

I’ve seen situations where this has turned out to be a bfp for some, and I’ve seen where it’s just Lh in your system and nothing more.

I also heard about LH test being positive if you have pcos...
as apparently your levels would be high even outside ovulation- making it unreliable.

Or iv just been testing at the right time but like i said im on cycle day 5 if it was af i had on sunday

This is the first time iv ever tested the day after AF but anytime i have tested iv always had some sort of line so i feel like either my tests are faulty or there is something wrong with me

@sarahc336 I don’t agree that we will always get a line on an Opk
I test frequently and if I start too early I get definite no line tests

I ovulated cycle day 15 last month so 1st feb then bang on sunday 15dpo i started bleeding for 2 1/2 days. I dont always get a regular cycle it can vary. Surely i cant ovulate so quickly after stopping af? I have pains like im about to start my period which have been there since yesterday

People get pregnant on their periods, so maybe you are starting to head towards a peak and ovulation will be super early.
Do you regularly test ovulation? What cycle day did you ovulate last month? I’d start DTF just in case

This is most recent opk done about 10 mins ago, i wasnt aware we always had LH in our systems so was abit confused how i had such a strong line the day after AF

You'll always get a line on a opk as we always have lh in our system and i think we can get spikes before our period comes, just not as high as with ovulation, so if it turns out your not pg this will explain your results Smile but I do know of women that have had positive OPKs and then been pregnant xx

Just done another opk and this is this mornings result, i know the opk is negative but should you still get a second line?

I can see the shadow too but not sure, i had only peed about 30 mins beforehand so il perhaps check again in a few days

@Livinginhope20 I really don't want to get your hopes up unnecessarily but my sister had a period her first month pregnant, she didn't find out till she skipped her next one! X

It seemed as normal as i would expect it to be, but then in all honesty as soon as i see i have af now i dont pay much attention till it stops

Try another opk? I find them slightly easier to stomach if I don't get a positive, if you keep getting them it isn't just a random thing, I found out I was pregnant last year through getting a positive opk when period was due, was your period "normal"
