Not out till AF? Or Out?

Hi,
I’m 7 days late for AF and have had several BFN.
I have never skipped a period before although I do have irregular periods (26-33 long).
I’m going off when my app says I’m due and I don’t do OPK or anything.
When does it go from ‘you’re not out till AF gets you’ to ‘out out’?

I got it on 21 DPO And it was super faint, but it’s strong now less than a week later.
I didn’t track ovulation so that’s a guess from previous months!

Hi lovelies. I’m new to Mumsnet. Nervous lol!
My cycle is unusual because it varies from 28 days to 34 days... and this month we have been trying to conceive and this has been a 34 day cycle.

I ovulated on the 13th Feb and I’m now 9 or 10dpo but no BFP yet....
My boobs look a little purple at the nipple area (sorry TMI) and I ‘feel’ some fluttery sensations in my lower abdomen (could all be in my head...)

I just thought I would have see a BFP by now.... or is it still too early? There’s not even any faint lines on the tests Sad

@Ylladyoll They didn't tell me how far along but offered me a second blood test (it was the receptionist that told me the news) to provide a better idea. I've also got a midwife appointment booked for 2nd March and will ask lots of questions! I got a real squinter on Friday morning but I tested on Tuesday and had nothing. I'll do a post about it when I have more information. I think low HCG does run in my family but we will see!

How far along does the doctor think you are with the HCG numbers? Did you not have a positive urine test at all? What week did you take the last test? Still no sign of mine and I'm 16 days late xxxx

I got my blood test results back and much to my doctor's surprise - I'm pregnant! Hopefully the lack of an early positive on a HPT doesn't mean anything. I don't think I'll rest easy until the 12 week scan...

I haven’t been testing for ovulation so far but like previous posters have said, I’ve always been really regular. If I’ve ovulated late, I think I’d be getting positive tests by now 😕

My periods have been bang on for 10 years, count on 1 hand how many times I've only been a day late so this is very unusual for me, CD42 for me and counting. Dont know if I can bear to take another test probably wait til 5th March x

I'm on CD46, I have irregular periods but more often than not I get my period after 20-30 days off, at 40 days off now. Have been getting BFN but my boobs hurt and I'm getting the odd feeling of nausea (fully accept this could all be wishful thinking). I've resigned myself to burning through pregnancy tests until either my period arrives or I get a BFP (seems a lot less likely but here's to hoping!)

I'm not doing opk but I only had sex mid month on 24,25&26th Jan so possible 6 days from the 26th,so would put me at 18 dpo but that's a stretch as although seem can live 5 or 6 days at optimum conditions xx I'm sure I will know one way or another in March Smile

Have you all been been using anything to see if you have actually ovulated? Could you have ovulated late? I’m wondering if that’s what had happened to me

Today I’m 16 days late and still getting pain low down, to one side as well as dizzy spells and sickness/nausea. Still negative pregnancy tests.
I went to the doctors to explain the situation today and she sent me for immediate blood tests (will get results tomorrow). She’s concerned about ectopic and if not that, then a possible ‘problem with the ovaries’ which will require further investigation. So a waiting game until tomorrow and then I should know one way or the other for definite.

My body doesn't feel like my own. My boobs are in AGONY.

I'm just gonna concentrate on a healthy diet etc, I dont drink alcohol anyway or smoke so just do that just in case Smile

Congratulations OP! That's very exciting news! I think that different people just have different levels of HCG in their pregnancy. As long as your pregnancy test positives continue to look stronger you should be fine. My mum didn't get a positive with my until she was 7 weeks along. It's not as common but it definitely happens.

I can't wait to find out my results - I just want answers at this point. They're going to check various hormone levels at the same time to rule anything else out. If it comes back all clear, I'll just be relieved and eager for AF to return...

@ylladyoll I know what you mean about doctors fobbing you off. I really put my foot down now that it's got to the point where I've missed two periods. I really drummed home the point that I've NEVER missed a period and I think it finally sunk in.
