@tossacoin1 I switched to easy at home rather then one step but everyone looks nearly positive, did a one step and it's completely blank! So think sticking with them.... my app says ovulation isn't due until the 17th 😩 still so long xx

tossacoin1 · 07/03/2020 08:42

Hello everyone! Is anyone nearing their fertile window and ready to try again? I used my first opk this morning and it was negative but my app has predicted my fertile window is next week so I'm not surprised

@AnxiousAnnie86 ok so AF has literally just arrived! I’m actually relieved. Haven’t been checking ovulation so going to start this month. Better order some cheap opks! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/03/2020 14:24

@Jobie9 oh noooo!! Do you know when you ovulated? Or were you not checking this month? Xx

Jobie9 · 04/03/2020 13:48

Hi gang,
CD37 and bfn 😩 losing my mind a bit! AF possibly due cd39 but not certain x

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 15:56

@AnxiousAnnie86 I have a nearly 8 year old son so like you it's been a few years since my first! This baby will be with a new partner who has two children of his own

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 15:36

@SS123456 I have a 13 year old daughter, i hope it can still happen but you never know :( is this your first you are trying for?

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 15:01

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm sorry to hear that 😢, do you have any children or is this your first? At least you know you can fall though, that's a good sign 😊

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 11:26

I had it removed in August last year, I got pregnant in September after one period, then miscarried, then it took till Jan for periods to return, xx

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 11:23

@AnxiousAnnie86 when did you have your coil removed?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 10:39

@SS123456 yeah same wirh merina, I didn't have a period for over five years! I've heard a lot of people say periods are light after the pill xx

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 10:32

@biscuit13 I read the other day that light periods and a short luteal phase could indicate too low progesterone levels which means the lining isn't thick enough for implantation. I'm hoping it could just be because I am still settling down after coming off of the pill late October as I am was on the mini pill and didn't have periods on it at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 10:29

@AnxiousAnnie86 thanks I will check out tumeric tablets

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 08:49

@biscuit13 I've been reading up on it the last few days and there's conflicting information. Most things are saying that light periods didn't have a negative impact, but surely it must... not sure what I can do to thicken it! My first day is normally so so heavy It made sense the other days are light, but it's not been like that this month xx

biscuit13 · 03/03/2020 08:42

@AnxiousAnnie86 @SS123456 sorry to jump in but I did read on another thread that having light periods could mean that the lining hasn't built up enough for implantation to happen.
I dont think it's when you ovulate because I'm about 32 day cycle and got my peaks on day 19 or 20...
I think it would more be that your lining isnt thick enough?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 08:26

@SS123456 oh and evening primrose tablets, but only till ovulation happens x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 08:25

@SS123456 so it's not the length of the cycle, it's the time you ovulate.... have you tried things in the first half to regulate ovulation? The tumeric tablets I have been taken reduced me from a 6 week cycle, I was just not ovulating till really really late xxx

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 07:52

@AnxiousAnnie86 my cycles are around 32 days too and I seem to be ovulating between day 18 and 20 from what I can tell

AnxiousAnnie86 · 03/03/2020 07:34

@SS123456 mines the same after the first day, do you have a short cycle or do you ovulate late in it? I have a 32 day cycle and normally ovulate around 17..... x

SS123456 · 03/03/2020 07:14

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm having very light periods too (just a bit heavier than spotting) which last for just a few days following a short luteal period (10-12 days). This is my 5th month trying so if I don't conceive after 6 months I'm going to chat to the doctor about it as I will be 37 in October and running short of time

AnxiousAnnie86 · 02/03/2020 18:00

That's 1/2 days light, not half a day x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 02/03/2020 18:00

So I've noticed since coming off the merina last year, my periods are so light. I have one day of normally really heavy bleeding then 1/2 of light, this time it's just been three light days.... I'm worried this is what's causing issues :(

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/03/2020 19:43

@tossacoin1 I find it hard to do same time, maybe I will have one more go at it this month.. I don't know, I have a acupuncture appointment tomorrow x

tossacoin1 · 01/03/2020 19:32

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm not sure I want to temp either! My temps are all over the place and it's so hard doing it the same time every morning
