Anyone doing the sperm meets egg plan this month?

Hi All, I'm on cycle day 11 doing the SMEP! Praying it'll work this month with preseed. Anyone else doing it this month?

@MummyT13 I decided yes last month. 🤣 So this month we haven't. Although I was confused by ovulation so we DTD for 5 days after that. Not since though.

@Lnix I dunno why but I'm not feeling great about this month. I've ovulated at least 2 days earlier than normal this month. I have 30 day cycles since taking pregnacare. I'm hoping I'm wrong and all the effort and money spent on OPK,Preseed, conception vitamins (for both) and cheap HCG tests 🤣 is gonna be worth it. Everything is very expensive don't you think?

@paintfairy I'm the same! It's freezing where I am though. I keep sitting next to the tumble dryer to warm up then I get so hot all of a sudden! Quick question.. do you think dtd around implantation can have a negative affect? X

Hey @MummyT13! I'm exactly the same...boobs sore from about 6DPO until AF comes. Mild cramping too. 🙄 every month! If had ovulated when I 'normally' do AF would have been due today but I ovulated a few days later and I know my luteal phase is 13 days so expecting AF on Tuesday/Wednesday. How are you feeling about things?

I'm ok. Still no spotting (good for me), sore boobs but not like usual (mine are usually like yours @MummyT13), its more at the front and happened later than usual.
However I'm freezing and I can't get warm. I have had this other days this week too. Woke up at 3.30am hot though. Usually I am hot in my luteal phase? Odd. Nipples therefore hurt even more. 🤣

Well guys I'm 6/7 DPO today and I have to wait for 3rd of March for AF so this is gonna be the longest week 🙄 still got sore Bbs from ovulation! I have them for 2 weeks solid until I get AF. 🙈 how are you all today? @paintfairy @littletandme @Lnix @3isthemagic @MySweetLittleTriffid @bernardswatchplease @tallah @Lisa127

@Lnix it's difficult isn't it, he is always complaining of being tired but won't go up to bed early then when you're trying to fit a lot of sex in as well it's so exhausting.

I should be ovulating today or tomorrow still, I had my darkest peak opk ever last night so that's two peak days, hoping it goes lighter today as I haven't seen a proper temp increase yet! I don't think DH can handle the third day in a row so that may be us done for SMEP 🙈 might have a night off tonight then DTD for the last time tomorrow.

Hate ttw! I have cramps. 8DPO. I always get cramps though so much more likely to mean AF is coming. Sigh!

9dpo today. Less symptoms than most months so far. 😂 But feels a long wait.

@Lisa127 it's just incase you have a bit of a delayed ovulation. So you may get your peak on the test but it may not actually be your peak 🤷🏻‍♀️ you see what I mean?

We do try every day from positive opk but aren't very good at the every other day for the rest of the time.

Why the rest day and then again? Is this in case the body tries to ovulate first time and tries again?

Sperm meets egg method Lisa basically, you bang every other day your whole cycle, when you get a positive/peak OPK then you go at it for three days in the bounce, have a rest day and then one last day.

I had a temp drop this morning, now the lowest I've seen (35.98), really hoping for a jump in the next few days. Grrr I hate not knowing what's going on. Will have to DTD tonight to keep up with SMEP even though we had a 3 day gap earlier in my cycle. Hoping for a positive opk tonight as last nights was disappointingly light, CD13 today.

I've seen a vague temp rise this morning, so seeing as it came 48 hours after my solid smiley on Clear blue and also taking into account DH and I simply are all sexed out... I've marked my app as a temp rise and so today is officially 1DPO. Not sure entirely how accurate that is and will only spot a pattern from tomorrow and the day after, but since we are absolutely done having sex (8 days straight thanks to flashing smileys and some early enthusiasm!) I feel I've done all I can and now I wait.... anyone else just about in the TWW I've opened a thread for us holding out to test until 29/1st March as I predict that's 10/11DPO!
