Thread for those who are Late for their AF, seems there is a few of us!!

Hi, as you know I am late, i usually have my period CD28 and now on CD34, I've started this thread for others that are late so we can support eachother through this confusing time xx

Still nothing over here. My lower tummy is feeling really hard and I’m bloated.

I’ve made a routine appointment with the doctor for something unrelated (next week) so if still no af or positive test by then, I’ll be able to ask about it.

Still nothing, even cramps have gone, my AF should have arrived 6the Feb so now 7 days late :(

@Ylladyoll and @Josie465 any signs of AF today? I had some very light spotting, light brown in shade, and a few mild cramps yesterday, but nothing since...also, boob pain has about gone away.

My doc didn’t care when I said I was a week late ! Said they only really care if you miss three periods

I think some nurses and doctors can be so dismissive about things that are concerning to you. It's a kind of limbo when your late for AF (first time I've experienced this without a positive pregnancy test) and getting BFN on tests. I will definitely wait to see if it turns up in march if not I will have to go to the doctors.
I was on several late for AF tests so one specific thread seemed like a good idea, there is a few of us that are over a week late and have BFN tests :/

@Josie465 welcome to the club! My estimate is about 9 days late as well! I did get one faint positive on Saturday (I think), and a neg blood on Monday so I think it might be a "chemical"...but nothing is for sure until AF shows up...so here I wait. Planning to test again this weekend. Not sure when you should check in with the drs...they'll probably say after 2 missed, unless you have pains or something like that. :( When I was told I had a neg blood on monday, nurse was very dismissive and basically said it must just be a weird cycle...she really didn't care...(upsetting)

Current thinking is if you miss 3 periods, I'm gonna go to the doctors if I reach CD 56, currently on CD35, which will mean I've missed two periods, I will go for advice. I have stopped the pregnacare vits today so hopefully that will sort things out. Keep us updated @Josie465

Here I am, joining from the other couple of ‘I’m late’ threads. I’m now 9 days late. Last tested yesterday morning with clear blue digital ‘not pregnant’ but no sign of af I’m wondering how long to leave it before heading to the doctors- anyone have any experience? X

AF has just shown up a full week late! I'm disappointed but hopefully my cycle will regulate now - DH and I are gearing up to try again in a couple of weeks!

Very depressing, I just want my period to come now, no sign and no cramping at all. I had zero other symptoms except cramping no spotting etc xx 99% sure I'm not pregnant as I dong feel it so now just carrying on as normal, definitely will update this thread once I figure one way or another, defo not peeing on any more sticks lol xx

Still no AF here. I'm keeping up w/ my vitamins, just in case. By boobs hurt, and have gotten bigger, and have to wear a bigger bra! Been very emotional. Sense of smell is definitely heightened. And nausea but no vomiting. I know in my heart I am/was pregnant...if AF doesn't start by the weekend, will get yet another test to try...but my hopes are not high after my neg bloods on Monday. Just hate this rollercoaster- bit depressing isn't it?

Can I join the party?! I'm late too - currently CD33 (28 day cycle usually). First month TTC after MMC (first pregnancy - at 12 weeks Sad). I've just read about pregnacare potentially delaying AF though, and I've been taking it this month! Eek. But very sore, swollen boobs and metallic taste in my mouth for the last two days... Really hoping the BFN I got this morning doesn't mean it's over!

I really hope it's not an ectopic :( spotting is normal so hopefully is proper good news.
Today I've decided to stop the vitamins and hope my period comes, I will be a week late tomo if it doesn't *sigh xx

I've tried to reply to the thread twice, doesn't go through. I'm trying now without the picture...

I tested and it was positive. 😱😵😨
It's pretty faint though so I think I might be misscarrying or this could be another ectopic 😢

We've been trying for more than 4 years now and and nothing until an emergency ectopic where I lost my right tube in 2017 and nothing since (we have one DC 9 years old already)

Still no sign... grrr... today I stop the vitamins! See if the periods come back!! On CD35!! NEVER EVER BEEN THIS LATE BEFORE!!

Im still waiting period, 5 days late tomo, I'm 99% I'm not pregnant due to 5 cheap tests and 2 frer all negative. The only thing different this month was starting pregnacare gummie vits, I am stopping taking them tomo and wait for period to come. There are so many women who have said the vits have lengthened their cycles xx

Hi Ladies-
Technically I'm on day 44 of my cycle, however, because I know I ovulated late, I'm going to say day 37 of my cycle based on my ovulation date. So, approx 9 days late. Have had countless BFNs. Did get a faint pos on 2/8. Had bloods done yesterday 2/10, and was told my hcg is negative (I think she said negative 1, whatever that means). So, I'm either 1. pregnant, 2. Not preg and have a completely messed up cycle or 3. MCC. Have loads of symptoms. Just waiting to see what happens next. Good luck everyone!

Feeling really nauseous this evening, have had it on and off the last few days but now I'm just 🤢 boobs are so tender too. I'm never like this with pms, I'd love to know what's going on ASAP!!

I am also late. My cycles do vary a bit, usually 29-32 days. I’m on day 37 now. I don’t feel pregnant but I don’t feel premenstrual either! I haven’t tested, not least because I have also been taking vitamins...!

Hopefully when people google this thread about late periods and BFN can show that late periods can be for lots of different reasons, hopefully for some it will be because of pregnancy, but for me I know that it's the damn vitamins Angry
