Thread for those who are Late for their AF, seems there is a few of us!!

Hi, as you know I am late, i usually have my period CD28 and now on CD34, I've started this thread for others that are late so we can support eachother through this confusing time xx

Thanks @Ylladyoll, hope you get some answers soon. I have bloods booked 6th March gonna check for anemia and other bits but also said they will put the hcg test in there as well. Hopefully get an update of either af or bfp before then though!

I think there is the possibility of a BFP not being picked up on hcg urine tests, but I dont think there are many, I'm fairly sure they are accurate, if my period doesn't come by march, I will go to the doctors for blood test and advice. Not having it though has made me feel very off and annoyed.
@Katbaby definitely welcome to join, I think lots of women are late for lots of reasons and this is a useful thread to read and keep these experiences onSmile

Hi hope you don't mind if i join! I'm on my first cycle after coming off the pill and I think it's wreaked havoc on me. Currently on cd58 😩😩! No sign of anything. Spent a fair bit on preg tests so far. All bfn. Doc says totally normal and takes a while to start ovulating for some women but my god the waiting game is driving me mad. Especially as I have a friend who came off her pill same time as me and shes nearly 8 weeks preg now 😩😩😩 so happy for her yet the green eyed monster is officially out. Told myself I wouldn't get obsessed straight away after all only came off pill in December but very much a symptom spotter. Officially missed the start of what would be my second period now.

Any good news or potential bfps this late??

Yes I read a little about ectopic and that’s what I’m afraid of. Wouldn’t it show as positive on a pregnancy test though?
Sorry to hear you’re out but at least you can reset for next month now!

Took a boots test today and still a BFN Confused so no more tests now, prob need to go to docs for a blood test I think

AF has arrived so I'm out. Kinda knew I was so it's a relief really. Can move on now. I've basically wasted a week squinting at pee sticks 😭

@Ange211 hopefully you are :) @Josie465 I'm on CD38 and apart from cramping at the beginning of the week, I've had no other symptoms at all, cramping has gone and no sign now that AF is coming Confused definitely update thread as you find out xx

@josie465 keep an eye on those pains. Ectopics manifest around 6 weeks & you don't always get a bfp with an ectopic. I'm not saying it is just maybe familiarise yourself with the symptoms to watch out for.

Good morning, can I join? I'm 3 days late but I've had about a million bfn's. Had a faint bfp on Saturday with an Asda test but I've read they're unreliable and the subsequent bfns back that up. I don't feel pregnant necessarily but I've been cramping on and off for 10 days but no AF. I feel off. Late AF is giving me false hope :(

Took a first response test this morning (instead of internet cheapies) and still negative. Cycle day 41 now and 12 days late. I’m getting some sharp pain low in my tummy on the left side today so maybe af is coming (although this is not a usual symptom for me). Dr google has only made me worried that something is wrong.

Nope in 10 years I have been early by 4 days once and late by 2 days once. I did start pregnacare vitamins this month and have read online they can lengthen cycle so stopped taking them 3 days ago to see if it is those delaying it, I have never in my life been this late without being pregnant:/ I am 43 so it could be an age thing? @floordrobey

Yes sure @floordrobey still no AF show and I'm 9 days late now :/ no tests gonna wait until 5th march to go to doctors if it doesnt come by then for a blood test x

I've just have the view that I just concentrate on life things and see what happens, we ain't using anything so I guess not obsessing about it or hoping for it to happen. I will keep updating this thread when my BFN and no AF situation sorts itself out, AF still MIA Confused

Thanks for the hugs @Ylladyoll. Just came across a peer of mine on facebook- preg w/ her 3rd at 44. Baby will come when she's 45- and honestly, it's just what I needed to see today. I think we'll give it another go. If I don't, I think I'll always regret not trying. So, there we have it. Now I just have to hope for the best!!

I think it's a difficult choice because it's a rollercoaster. I dont know what my body is doing atm but hopefully something will happen so I know one way or another Confused

AF/miscarriage arrived today, so I've got my answer finally. Now to decide if we'll try again next month...I'm very torn :(

I'm done with peeing on sticks, if my AF doesn't arrive by the 5the March, I will go get advise from docs, ask for a blood test xx

So, no AF still. I've actually started to again convince myself that I'm pregnant. But after neg blood on Monday it seems so unlikely. I might buy a test tomorrow...but I don't want to see another neg. But I guess if I do, then I really will know, right? Ha, no...I still won't be sure until AF shows!

@Ylladyoll I'm like 11 days late or so? I'm losing count

@Josie465 Big boobs, but no pain right now, definitely bloated (all pants are tight) and heavy feeling in tummy again. Also, waking up at 4:30-5AM past few mornings. Also crying easily.
