I am too. I'm fairly confident the pregnacare vitamins have delayed my ovulation as I'm not 15 days late, not pregnant, I stopped taking them a week and a half ago so fingers crossed that ovulation starts again. It's the only logical reason for me being late xx

My AF came this morning a week late..... just why

So now even if I get a late period I can't get my hopes up

Just so fed up with it all

Katbaby · 20/02/2020 21:26

Tested this morning and under torch light squinted for the tiniest line!?! Husband looked and said absolutely nothing there. Was it my tired bed time eyes looking at 6.30😩 I kept looking and driving myself crazy. Supposed to be going for a drink tomorrow with my sister and now paranoid. I know in my heart it was negative but what ifffff!!

Ylladyoll · 20/02/2020 16:56

I would wait a week and retest if AF doesnt come :)

Thought I’d jump on,
According to my app, AF was supposed to make an appearance (still time yet I suppose), have every symptom of her coming but also some out of the ordinary symptoms too for me such as sore nipples and after 12 years, my belly button piercing has inflamed and is sore (my friend said this was one of her first symptoms of pregnancy?). Did a test this morning but negative.
Should I buy another one to do on a later date? X

Ylladyoll · 20/02/2020 16:39

I suspect I too am not pregnant, I'm glad I didnt have to do the blood test.
I think I will just plod on, still gonna update this thread, I believe it to be useful.

Sorry @Josie465 at least they are investigating. My doctor has put down my lack of period to me going through the change xx

Josie465 · 20/02/2020 16:30

Bloods back from doctors. Not pregnant, as I thought. So now I have to go back as the doctor wants to investigate other possible reasons for no af last month. Feeling really low today.

Ylladyoll · 20/02/2020 16:18

2 weeks late, clear blue test BFN, I must of just missed a period this month, maybe I am in perimenipause. I'm beginning to accept that i am not pregnant and just either very late or missed a period. Could've been the vitamins, I suppose it's just now a case of getting on with my life.

Sorry @Ylladyoll. Same here when I got my blood results from the nurse. Entirely dismissed the fact that I had gotten a faint positive, and said- nope, not pregnant, just a weird cycle. Would have been nice to at least get a sympathetic 'sorry you're likely having a very early miscarriage'...something of that sort. Anyway, worrying because now that it's passed, it wasn't a very heavy or long flow....so now I'm reading up on supplements, etc. to improve egg quality and lining. I'm sure it's not all shit, and will probably go out and purchase some to take...but not sure how long I'll try. If only I could go back 6 years and tell myself then to not worry about things and just get on with it and have another kid then. Sigh is right. Sorry for my ramblings.

Katbaby · 19/02/2020 15:37

My doc said although I haven't had a proper period since my withdrawal bleed that could take a while til I started ovulating again, she prescribed (haha) regular sex and hopefully will catch the egg when it finally makes an appearance. Might test again this weekend as it will be cd63 at the Weekend and I have my bloods next Thursday. Cant decide whether to not bother testing though and hang on for bloods... Not sure I can wait that long. Really thought af was coming yesterday had major cramps

Ylladyoll · 19/02/2020 14:51

Yep she was very dismissive but I expected im nearly 44 *sigh

Me a few days late and bfn going to give up soon I think been trying for 14 months

SandyN89 · 19/02/2020 14:48

@Ylladyoll Hey wow doctors are really dismissive like your stupid or something and don't know your own body. Fingers crossed for you and everyone that we get the answers.

brownbear18 · 19/02/2020 14:46

Hi everyone

Im on CD37 and this is my second cycle after my ectopic pregnancy. I'm not even sure when to expect my period but I've had a 28 day cycle, 32 day cycle and the most recent cycle being 34 days. I've tested numerous times all coming with a BFN. I have a dull ache in my abdomen today but no real sign of AF.

The whole TTC is so draining. Waiting is all we do. When do you call it a day and make a visit to the dr?

Ylladyoll · 19/02/2020 14:37

@SandyN89 I didnt even get to see a doctor just a lecture over the phone and that I should look out and note down hot flushes *sigh. My last period was Jan 8th, I didnt get a positive at all just negatives, just gonna wait until my next period is due, retest an then contact the doctors if AF doesnt come. Keep us posted,a few of us are in the same position

Hi everyone I'm on CD48 and my last period was 3rd Jan I'm 19days late. Went doctors yesterday and she told me it's normal for my period to be late and that I should wait till my period starts. Which I'm still waiting. This is unusual and never had to wait more than 4days for my period, this is 19days. All pregnancy tests have been negative. Done with testing and done with looking for pregnancy symptoms. My poor DH thought I was pregnant when we had 1 positive pregnant test. He's just really disappointed and poor thing had actually prepared to have a second child. Hmm

Ylladyoll · 19/02/2020 11:46

I've had a little nausea but I'm not sure if that means anything. Obviously @Josie465 please keep us updated :) hopefully everything will be ok xx

Today I’m 16 days late and still getting pain low down, to one side as well as dizzy spells and sickness/nausea. Still negative pregnancy tests.
I went to the doctors to explain the situation today and she sent me for immediate blood tests (will get results tomorrow). She’s concerned about ectopic and if not that, then a possible ‘problem with the ovaries’ which will require further investigation. So a waiting game until tomorrow and then I should know one way or the other for definite.

Ylladyoll · 18/02/2020 12:34

I expected to be given a lecture on perimenipause so will just have to get on with things for now, but will keep this thread updated as so many are late for one reason or another

OP posts:
Katbaby · 18/02/2020 12:07

Oh god @Ylladyoll it's so frustrating if your concerns won't really be heard. Im hoping my blood tests next week shed some light on the situation (hopefully just tell me I'm preg but won't hold my breath haha)

I'm feeling super bloated and crampy today. Maybe af is on her way. Watch this space I guess

iswhois · 18/02/2020 11:34

Copied from other thread I was literally coming here to start a thread as I'm in the same boat!!! 4 days late now and BFN after BFN. My cycles are usually 26-28 days NEVER over 30 so this is very abnormal. Had a normal, relatively stress free month.

On top of that I have unbearable heartburn which I never have suffered with before and my boobs are so sore it hurts to wash myself

Honestly I'm just wishing it would start now and put me out of my misery.

Maybe it's the storms messing our bodies up!!?!

Ylladyoll · 18/02/2020 10:51

So doctor rang me up and fobbed me off, it's not unusual at your age for you to miss a period, have you had a hot flush, suddenly feeling hot than not... take another pregnancy test next week, see if period comes if not contact us, but it's likely to be perimenipause so that was a waste of time Confused

OP posts:
Ylladyoll · 18/02/2020 07:36

I will, probably say it's my age and it's normal for periods to go funny lol

OP posts:
Katbaby · 18/02/2020 06:45

Let us know what your doc says x

Ylladyoll · 17/02/2020 22:28

Still no sign, have lots of bloating way more than I usually have, it's very uncomfortable. Decided to do an online consult to get advise from my doctors and see what they suggest. Keep us posted
