Hi all,

Hoping it's ok to jump on and speak to people in similar situation. I came off the mini pill early Jan after having a year of taking it with no periods at all. Before that I was on the combined pill and would take for 21 days and then have 7 day break with normally a 4-5 day period. Had my 1st bleed exactly 28 days after stopping and was only light but lasted 5 days, then stopped for 1 day then spotting for 3 days. I used the clue app to try and track ovulation and we DTD several times around the fertile window week and after just in case. 1 week before AF due had brown spotting with a clump of jelly discharge. Then nothing. Next day brown spotting briefly then nothing. 2 days later brown spotting briefly then nothing. AF was due 7th March which now puts me 9 days late. On 8th March had some spotting which lasted a couple of hours but only visible when wiping and was a light pink. Had lower back ache for over a week now and sore boobs on and off. Nausea comes and goes although last couple of days have had to dash to the loo as thought was gonna be sick. I have an outbreak of spots and had to take my engagement ring off yesterday as my fingers were so swollen I could barely move it. Moods are up and down. I had some pain when touching pelvic area and can feel pulling over previous c section scar. Been getting lots of BFN but 2 days ago I got a faint line but as my partner couldn't see it just thought it was my eyes. Yesterday BFN. Today another faint line but not with FMU and then an hour later did another and BFN. So confused, tired, fed up and desperately need something to distract me! Any advice welcome xx

I spoke too soon. AF here on CD43. And it hurts!

I have proper cramping now but so far I still only have a tiny bit of spotting after nearly two days. Pink yesterday and red overnight. This is awful. Think it is time to see a GP about irregular periods and heavier pain, really.

I don’t know whether to test again - this is all just so weird.

@EnsignRoLaren yes I had bloods done a couple weeks ago, but the doctor has said since its my first cycle off the pill so it is technically normal! Just a waiting game now. Said I can have a course of hormones after 6months of no af, but we would have to use protection on them which I'm not keen on but we will see

@Katbaby that is a seriously long cycle! Have you seen a GP yet for tests?

@stillhayley how frustrating. I think I’ve had slight leakage ever since I quit breastfeeding - not sure it ever goes away!

CD37, AF was due Friday just gone. Still no sign. I have sore boobs, my left nipple is leaking ever so slightly only when I squeeze (don't ask me how I figured this out) sticky light cm, trapped wind, constipation but a BFN yesterday.

Has anyone had a leaking nipple this early on?

Cd81 and still no sign of the witch. Last bfn was cd 77.
I've given up and booked a holiday to Greece haha, in the mindframe of it happens when it happens. Nothing I can do except bd!

I thought I had an answer yesterday on CD41 as I started to see a pink tinge, which AF sometimes starts with. Definitely feeling slightly stronger AF-type cramping.

But nope. 20 hours later and I just have the slightest pink CM. Still waiting.

Hi, just joining to see others having similar limbo.
My last 3 periods since they returned (bfing) have been 29 days, 28, 28.
I'm now on cd30, got a bfn on cd29. I've been in a foul mood and snappy with DH all weekend but no cramps to suggest AF is in the way. I wish it would hurry up though as I'm pretty sure we only bd'd once at the end of my supposed fertile week due to working away.

I've got opks and Pre-seed ready to start trying properly next cycle but need AF to get a move on!

No BFP here though a couple of those awful faint evap lines on cheap pharmacy tests - faint enough that they may not even be there 🤦‍♀️.

And I fell asleep before lunch today! Obviously not quite right one way or another. It is just taking up so much brain power to keep wondering!

Have you had a BFP? Symptoms do tend to fade as pregnancy goes on..

@OrganicSmorganic welcome to the thread! I had quite a few symptoms a week ago but they’ve faded somewhat, except the cramps. Are you hoping for a BFP? Good luck!

I’ve also noticed my rings are tighter and I have swelling around my watch strap - oedema was one of the worst symptoms in my first pregnancy! I have a low resting heart rate - 40-43 bpm - am am no longer nearly fit enough to justify that (it used to be in the low 50s). That could be thyroid related too, I think.

Hi! I’m 3 days late (usually very regular) and get all sorts of early pregnancy symptoms- watery, metallic mouth, tiredness, nausea, headache, sore boobs, ligament pain, backache, emotional etc

I’ve tested a few time’s but all BFN so far, however history and experience tells me that I don’t usually get a BFP until 3-5 days after my missed period so I’ll test again on Wednesday.

@Ylladyoll not yet. Things have been a bit full on at home and work, and with everything happening in the NHS I think they are likely to hold me to three missed periods without investigating. Day 40 so in a week it could be counted as two missed periods for me!

Just updating for reference - day 40 here now and BFN cd38. This is my longest ever cycle by ten days, and 15 days late according to my app.

I am wondering if it could be a thyroid thing - dry skin, cold sensitivity, exhaustion, low mood, joint pain, and a few other symptoms have been around for a while.
