3DPO and feeling generally shit. Tiny little stabbing pains in my pubic area and my lower back is killing. Feeling sick and generally full. Have a feeling I'm just getting a bug but can't help wondering if it's something else. I know 3DPO is far too early for any kind of symptoms but its always in the back of my mind 🤷🏼‍♀️
Anyone else's AF due around 21st feb?

Joining :) I’m 1dpo, due on 25th.
@calimommy that looks positive! How confusing if you’ve already had that on cd17. Can you take another one in a few hours? Maybe your wee wasn’t diluted enough ? Guessing really 🤷🏼‍♀️

Blackbelt · 12/02/2020 17:42

@inahaze

For the last 6 months I’ve planned my whole life around whether or not I would would be pregnant and it’s driven me insane!
I mean you can’t spend a load of money on a holiday and then you can’t go!

I’ve had cramps all day and really loads of thick CM which I’m really confused about, not sure why that’s happening.

@calimommy I’m sorry I don’t know what it means either!

calimommy · 12/02/2020 17:29

Opinions please!!!!

On Sunday (CD17) I got +OPK, was strongly positive all day (4tests) and continued to be + until lunchtime Monday (CD18) when the tests started fading. I also had a lot of O pains and EWCM. This was O as far as I can be certain. But because my cycles have been a little odd I had decided that I would test every day this month to get a positive idea of what is going on. OPK have been negative (very faint) since then except for this morning when it looks + again?? CM is white and v little of it.

@gingerglitter4ever

from what i remember from yonks ago, i think if you keep plotting, the graph will adjust with more data.....so dont panic yet .... is this your first month doing BBT?

my family are planning a holiday to efteling in the netherlands this october half term, i guess i can't book until i know im definitely not going to be 32 weeks or more, right? so that would be a mid-december due date?

gingerglitter4ever · 12/02/2020 14:05

Hey ladies! Welcome @rosie990 ! Anyone have experience with BBT that could help me? It’s my first month tracking and I’m generally a cool person, but I thought it was average for women to get above 37C after ovulation... my app has now determined that since I’ve hit 36.5 degrees three days in a row I ovulated early on the 9th 😩 I’m so lost

LuluHeidi · 12/02/2020 13:45

Hi @Rosie990 :)

It's hard because once you decide you want something it's frustrating waiting! However, I don't think it would seem quite as special if everyone was guaranteed to fall pregnant on their first month of trying?! Maybe I'm just clutching at straws saying that haha.

I get the impression that early pregnancy symptoms are exactly the same as when AF is due so trying to ignore any symptoms. Anyone who has been pregnant before was this the case for you? Or did you know something was different?

I've just checked Ovia and apparently I can take a pregnancy test tomorrow (assuming I did actually ovulate on the 1st Feb) but I'm going to wait until the 17th if no AF (I would be 1 day late). Then I will test again later that week if not. So much for saying I wouldn't test unless I was 3ish days late haha.

Whitefeathers14 · 12/02/2020 13:37

@HalfPenny28 this is my first month trying. So I am still learning.
I feel ok, I have still got the stomach pains but am trying not to get my hopes up.

How are you today?

Fifol · 12/02/2020 13:27

Welcome @rosie990 Smile

It is hard. Very hard.

I'm the same sore boobs at the sides, I feel like they are worse than previous months but probably my imagination. I had a few tummy twinges the last few days but not much really .

Trying my best not to be googling every little thing like crazy!

rosie990 · 12/02/2020 12:59

Hi ladies may I join?

I am currently about 5dpo (I believe I ovulated earlier than normal)

I have really sore boobs but each month since ttc I have had something different so I dont know and dont want to get my Hope's up.

Period is due around the weekend 22nd to 23rd but I am going to wait until i am late to test

Ttc is so hard. :-(

Fifol · 12/02/2020 12:53

I'm due AF between 17th and 19th ish so if no sign I'll test on 22nd. Looks like a few of us will be testing around then good luck to us all!

Of course I'm hoping I'll have the willpower not to test this weekend!

inahaze · 12/02/2020 12:17

i'll probably test 22nd or 23rd depending on how long i hold out for!

Loladisco · 12/02/2020 12:03

I'll be testing 24th if no sign of AF. With my first I had no symptoms at all before my BFP so trying not to go too crazy symptom spotting!

LuluHeidi · 12/02/2020 11:51

In response to most on here I'm laughing in agreement about symptom spotting. I'm sure I've had all these different twinges my whole life and not noticed and now I'm noticing EVERY tiny little thing! I've had some cramps and back aches today which could be a sign that AF is due any day which would make sense as I'm CD25. I'm 11 suspected DPO but not going to test unless I'm at least 2/3 days late.. which might well be the case purely because this is my first cycle post finishing the pill. Will be much easier to track once AF arrives! What dates are everyone planning on taking a test, if at all?

HalfPenny28 · 12/02/2020 07:19

@Whitefeathers14 I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🙌🏼🙂

It's so hard isn't it! Every little twinge I'm like 'is that a symptom!' And I can't believe I never noticed it all before we started ttc!

How you feeling this cycle?

Whitefeathers14 · 11/02/2020 21:40

@HalfPenny28 it's is kind of like a itchy tingling sensation, and the feel fuller/ heavier! I don't know if all of this is just wishful thinking.

HalfPenny28 · 11/02/2020 21:29

@Whitefeathers14 this might sound weird 😂 but In what way are your boobs sore? I always think my boobs are sore but so far only had BfN!

I had some cramp like twinges today but nothing else so far I don't think - other than slightly sore boobs which may just be normal

Whitefeathers14 · 11/02/2020 21:08

Hi i am due around the 22, and the tww, is driving me crazy. I have noticed that I have had sore boobs, cramps and pains for the past few days. I don't normally get any of this before af, so my mind is racing.

Fifol · 11/02/2020 20:44

Hi @Nora11 yes I'm trying to wait too till AF due!

Hi @calimommy

Hopefully there will be bfps all round soon x

calimommy · 11/02/2020 20:34

Hey all, thanks for the suggestion @Blackbelt.
4th cycle trying, 1DPO. Not entirely sure when af is due, originally thought was 24th but looking at my calendar it could be 20-24th. Anyho. I had a three pack of FRER which I bought for last month but are untouched, obviously. I usually get implantation spotting so if I see that in 5 or so days then I'll feel more hopeful.

Nora11 · 11/02/2020 20:27

I was going to buy some tests today (too early still but just wanted to have them to hand)... Then got in the queue to pay and realised I didn't have my purse!🤦‍♀️ Maybe it's a sign to not go testing too early 😂 I probably will still buy some later this week though but going to try and wait until AF is due before using them!

Fifol · 11/02/2020 20:19

@Twitchett22 if you definitely ovulated then there probably isnt any point as I dont think you can become pregnant once you're out of the ovulation window... I'm open to correction though.

Its funny how sex so quickly becomes a solely baby making exercise Grin

I was embarrassed the first time I bought the test but dont care now as long as I look over my shoulder and dont see anyone I know around!

Twitchett22 · 11/02/2020 19:24

I'm gonna hold off ordering any tests (for some ridiculous reason I'm too embarrassed to buy them in tesco 🤷🏼‍♀️) until the day AF is due then by the time they arrive hopefully it will be more reliable. I bet i don't stick to it but that's my plan 😂
If I ovulated 4days ago is it pointless DTD tonight? Coz frankly i can't be arsed if there's no baby to be made 😂😂

I never know what to class as a symptom!

Like my books are a bit sore but I sometimes wonder if it's because of wearing a bra all day!

It's so hard not to get your hopes up every month

Blackbelt · 11/02/2020 17:06

Defo better off not knowing from my experience! Would have made things easier I think. Found starting my period much harder in Jan.

My mum also puts pressure on me, my sister isn’t having children and I’m her only hope for grandchildren!!
I hope I don’t do this to my own.

Fifol · 11/02/2020 14:21

@Blackbelt I had a very late period last month and all bfns but I was wondering if it was something like a chemical but couldn't see why else my period would be so late like. Probably better off never knowing!
