Had cramps at work today so think AF will be making an appearance tonight or tomorrow morning! 😫

This was my first cycle using ovulation tests (clearblue digital) and it said I ovulated the day after Flo predicted, so it will be interesting to see what happens this cycle! I can't explain the excitement of getting the static smiley after 5 days of flashing smileys...it was like winning a game 😂

@Fifol I came off the pill in September but didn't really properly think about ovulation until December and had no clue what I was doing (felt like I was back in a science class haha). So I guess this is really only my 2nd cycle of TTC too!

AF is here! Going to curl up tonight with a hot water bottle and Prosecco and focus on the next cycle 💕 hope you're all okay xx

I've started getting cramps so think AF will be with me soon too! I've just bought some ovulation strips, evening primrose oil and a cheap early detection test in preparation for next month though still hoping I won't need them! 🤞 I've only been guessing my ovulation so will be interesting to see when it actually happens...

@twitchett22 that sounds so similar to me last month so I really do feel for you. I literally have never been so happy to get my period, I had done a few tests and all bfn so knew I wasnt pregnant and it was just am AF waiting game.

@HalfPenny28 yes will be nice to go through it together! I'm actually feeling quite positive, I was looking back over my last few cycles and this is actually only my 5th cycle of ttc. And really and truly it's only my 2nd cycle of ttc because for the first few I didnt really know what I was doing and my timing (in hindsight) was wrong. So I'm hoping that with a bit more knowledge now and being more prepared this could be the one!!

@twitchett22 hope you get sorted soon. Did you know if you ovulated at the time you thought? My january cycle was 56 days, just randomly. I must have ovulated way later but hadn't been using opk so didnt really know. It's a mind f* for sure.

My af also due today no sign very watery cm feel like I've wet myself and cervix so high cant reach it but rhr has dropped today so not feeling awfully positive

It's nice that we're all ovulating within a couple days of each other 💕

My lower back has been aching badly for the last two days. It's very bad like the sort of pain which takes away your sense of humour and nothing I'm taking is touching it. I'm due AF today or Saturday so I'm resigned to that being the source, so much so that I kept rushing to check my underwear if I felt like something was coming down. I've resorted to tampons because I decided it would let me relax. But all it's been so far is fairly mucky CM and one incident of a dash of pink spotting. Nice. Anyho I know if I POAS then AF will immediately show up and then Ill feel like an idiot for wasting a test and being hopeful when it's glaringly obvious this is a period.

No real point to this I just want to complain about my back 😂 as DH is away and the children are on holidays this week. I'm sat down with a glass of red before I start dinner, while they chill out watching tv, hoping the medicinal affects of alcohol hurry along AF and my backache resolves. 🤞 🍷

@MrsLlama89 we are in this together x it is a tough time when AF arrives so I have been feeling fragile but have to move on and keep hopeful x

It has taken me by surprise how obsessed I have become, but I think when you decide you want to start your family you just want it right now!

@Fifol We got married in April and decided to come off the pill in Sept to get prepared for when we wanted to start TTC. As soon as I came off it I cried every month my period came and it really took me by surprise how quickly it consumed me. I see hubby's judgemental face every time I open Flo and gaze at dates haha

@Twitchett22 Hubby has banned me from tests before AF is due haha but I can't help myself. My friend, who was in this situation last year, told me about ovulation tests so now I am also addicted to POAS haha

I am TTC for the first time. I have felt so anxious recently but speaking to you all on this thread has already made me feel so much better! No AF today but might come on Saturday. My cycle is 26 days, then 28 days, 26, 28, 26 and so on so this month should be 28 days.
It's comforting to know if it does appear we can start next cycle together xx
