3DPO and feeling poorly 😔 TWW buddies?

@inahaze -I've been a bit rubbish at tracking bbt tbh - particularly taking it first thing! However I measured today and it's gone up to 98.42F but that wasn't first thing in the morning - starting to wonder if I ovulated earlier than expected and missed the surge? 🙏🏼🤷‍♀️

@inahaze it goes by posts, so 999 or 1000 I believe before it closes.

@op I know how you feel, I though I was game for it last night but once we started I switched off completely. Anyho I just tell him to work away 😂 that's what it needs anyway 🤷‍♀️

sorry it's all a bit shit @Twitchett22 hormones are rough, weather is shit and it's only wednesday. definitely have some plonk, have a bath, shave ya legs, clean sheets on the bed and just relax and see what happens.

@Luan82 my ovulation felt very late this month, was day 13 i think, normally day 10. are you doing BBT?

Hi all- hope you don’t mind me stepping in!! Been off the pill since October (ish) last year after being on it for many many (too) many years - finally got my cycle back to something a bit more regular, as each month goes by I get a little more ‘twitchy’ when flow comes along, particularly as I’ve not been used to OV and PMS symptoms!! At the moment I’m on day 17 of my (29 day) cycle - trouble is I feel like I’m ovulating late as I can generally feel ovulation due to Very unique heavy feeling in my lower tummy- all the symptoms are there for the past two days or so but no LH surge as yet (I’ve taken an OPK for about six days now all negative! Anyone else experienced this? Going by my last positive OPK in Feb it was actually on day 18!! which is really rather late! Anyone else experience this? Lx

@inahaze first baby, I had a miscarriage in September at 5 weeks. I cannot wait for my BFP the day that second line comes up I'm throwing myself a party for just me and my partner 😂😂 xxxx

@AliSxo no haven't used in the afternoon. I only have a few sticks left but might try later. My problem is I drink a good bit of water during the day so would find it hard to hold in for too long! I might drink a bit less today and see this evening sure can't hurt anyway! I've read lots of posts here of people getting it later so I won't panic too much yet.

@Fifol i know I wanted to DTD last night but couldn't so we did it this morning, we've done it every other day apart from doing it Sunday/Monday so tried our best as you say, fingers crossed for this cycle we both get our BFP!

When I used the CB OPKS I used my afternoon urine on day 3 of flashing smileys and got my static, that was cd14 so not sure if that's an option for you to do? Xx

@inahaze I'm cd15 so realistically i could get my peak fertility smiley face in the next couple of days but it's annoying because this is now different to last month and so it's different to what I was expecting! Oh well, just gotta keep going.

No I've never done the temp thing, I thought it would stress me out and not sure if I'd be able to take it at the same time every day after the correct amount of time. I might have to look into it un future.

Thanks for your replies everyone! I’m fine on the clomid it hasn’t actually affected me... only concern is hubby’s going to cancun so we’re out for 3 months and I don’t know much about the reliability of the zika sperm testing...

@ttc999 ive been pregnant before, I've never had implantation cramps but I had implantation spotting with 4 pregnancies but nothing at all with the last one. The only real symptom I ever had before AF was a sort of buzzing in my uterus, like it had been turned on. Nausea, boobs, etc, I never noticed those until well into the second or third months. X

finally got a positive smiley OPK today (CD13), thank f**K because I was seriously freaking out at the prospect of potentially 2 consecutive months without ovulation. so for me looks like the ovia app is more accurate than Flo.

i think the every other day thing is the "safe bet" for people who aren't tracking their ovulation / cycles and it covers all the bases, as sperm can live up to 5 days, so by having sex every other day there's still a high chance of catching the egg?

hi @ttc999 i didn't have ANY symptoms with my first (and only) pregnancy, just that my period was late.... and even then i needed a clear blue test to confirm as the cheapies all came up negative. how are you finding clomid? do you feel more hormonal?

Haha yeah no it’s been hard before... Test date is Friday I think but I’m not fussed about finding out it’s weird... clomid has helped me ovulate so at least I can time it. Anyone that’s been pregnant before, what have implantation cramps felt like?

@ttc999 I'm not on clomid, how are you finding it? 9DPO is really early, don't test yet!! Easier said than done I've tested before at 3dpo 😂 xxx

Hi everyone is it okay for me to join? I’m on clomid, cycle 4 of trying but I didn’t ovulate the first two cycles so really cycle 2 trying. I’d anyone else on clomid? Currently 9dpo... I’m actually not wanting to think about testing

Yeah, I've read every other day is better but then so much other advice contradicts that it's so hard trying to plan it, especially when ovulation dates change xx my Flo planner is attached, the hearts indicate where we've DTD so far, ovulation was meant to be yesterday but it's today

It's a busy week in our house anyway with all this baby dancing!!

@AliSxo remind him that it'll be very sparse once you've got a newborn. And if your like me and sick as a dog for the first 4 months, it'll be a virtual desert for the next 18 months post positive test 😂

The more sex you have , the more likely you are going to get pregnant, espe over this Fertile period, but also through out the month as well as ovulation can jump around and the strips arnt a complete fail safe.

I wore myself out one month so I'm def a bit more relaxed this month but as I'm getting into the fertile window I will def be having sex at least once a day for the next week

@Fifol I think alot of people think it's a mixed message but it's actually very clear. It's only if the man has issues that fertility clinics ect advise every other day. The more sex the more likely to get pregnant otherwise 😉

@AliSxo why wouldn't you do it today?! Unless he has a low sperm count or issues you should be doing it as much as possible over your fertile period. If he's 'normal' it's actually better to do it daily over this period for you guys, this is backed by Robert Winston and he's a legend so I'd go for it! Your be crazy not too, it doesn't need to build up does it? He has millions of sperm?!
