@Fredthespider ditto. We don't really have a lot of sex either so it makes it difficult because then there is a lot of pressure during the fertile week to do it moreso out of need than want. I try lol get outfits etc but it's just not the same plus he really struggles to finish I think he has a slight problem with that 🤦‍♀️ sooo even though it adds stress, if we don't do it at the right time it will never happen! I'm cd2 today and the next few weeks we will be nice and busy so that helps

After all that unknown I've started spotting. If I take the first day the spotting started with the ectopic as CD1 then I'm on CD24; but my HCG levels were still up above pregnant levels on what would have been CD7, they were down to 5 on CD14 but weren't checked in between. I had the most pain and bleeding on CD5-8 so I was thinking that I should take around then as CD1 but who knows. AF might be over and done with before holidays whoop whoop!

Also if anyone is interested CB are recruiting for trials - uk.clearblue.com/survey I did this one back before Xmas and it's pretty easy and you get £50 plus ovulation kit and digital pregnancy tests.

@Katie1109 high five for the relaxed approach. We agreed to not use OPKs this month but it was ridiculously hard for me and I ended up doing 3 although I didn't get a peak. I don't know if I missed it or if it hasn't happened yet. OH and I don't have the highest of sex drives (once a week if at all tbh) so whilst it takes the pressure off it does also drastically reduce our chances when we've got no idea when to time it.

When we talked about trying we said that we didn't want a Christmas baby so we would take a break around March/April. Now we're at that point we've decided that a Christmas baby would be ok and we don't care that much!

@Danni2019 I used to drink like 2 coffees a day and tea when I conceived last time. Now I've totally cut out coffee and sugar so have one cup of tea a day.

2 cups of coffee a day are fine for TTC but they say anymore is too much. I've read that caffeine isn't great for conceiving so this is why I stopped.

Hello everyone CD11 for me today hoping for my peak in the next few days. Excited about my partner being home this month and might actually be in with a chance! Just wondering what everyone thinks about caffeine intake when TTC. I love coffee and before I had my son used to drink like 6 cups and day and it never stopped me conceiving him! I obviously gave up when pregnant it helped that coffee made me feel sick anyway. I drink about 2 cups a day now and try to drink decaf at other times. Does anyone else try to limit their caffeine? I think about all these things try to eat healthy and take vitamins and I'm sure my partner doesn't think about any of this! X

Thank you @Katie1109, they are on the longer side of "normal" it seems, but as I've had a lot of spotting with this one, I've been tearing my hair out! Had a BFN on Thursday (which was CD 41) and will probably test again just before the weekend as I want Bday Cocktails if I'm not pregnant!

I will also quite happily take a Christmas Baby at this rate 😂

@katie1109 CD14 today for me, I have had some EWCM but hardly any and got really bad cramps today so guessing ovulation is imminent. I thought I'd ovulate so much earlier but maybe it won't be as early as I thought as OPKs are only 'high'. Deffo a totally different cycle this month for me! OPKs are usually blank until CD16 then I go from 0 to peak in 12 hours. I've had a low peak for 3 days now.

Listen, I'll take a christmas day baby if it means having a baby at all! My last one was due christmas day. I'm not checking due dates this month (like I have every other month) and I'll only check if and when I get my BFP.

@LV1987 45?!?! How long are your cycles normally? Have you been testing at all? x Jesus I’m sorry you’re going through this, my cycles are 28-29 days and that’s bad enough!!

Where are you all in your cycles? @Beau20 sorry you’re having shite time with opks x I used premom and it worked well for me, but I used premom opks to go with it, you can order them on amazon x Well I’m CD 8 today and normally I would be starting to use opks, but we’re taking relaxed approach this month x still taking primrose oil and pregnacarr but nothing else. I might buy pressed, but we used to use a lube so this won’t be anything new x here’s to December babies xx 😂 the only month I wanted to avoid, but I promise I don’t care anymore 😂

@Mumofboys17 I'm also feeling a bit shit and deflated today. I woke up feeling great, ready to face Monday... But I'm still spotting, it's been a week now and it's not got any heavier. And now I seem to have a UTI to throw into the mix. It's also my birthday later this week and the idea of being 33 seems pretty shit. Everything is just all out of whack and I don't know how to fix it. Boo.

@Langpants I'm using One Step, never had problems with them before but they're not changing at all. CD20 today and OPK's still faint and flashing smiley on CB. Can't help but feel I'm not going to ovulate at all this cycle 🙁 feeling a bit shit and deflated about it all at the moment x

@Langpants sorry no I was using ova view but I wasn't paying that much 😱😱😱 I paid like £6 for 50 tests

@Langpants I was always using ovusense or something now I'm using easy @ home because they had much better reviews. My GP told me OPKs aren't even reliable at all ffs 😂😂😂

What brand of opks are you using @Beau20 and @Mumofboys17 ? I was getting dodgy readings the last couple of months and then changed brands. Are you temping as well? I use Natural Cycles app and temp so the app was able to tell me when I ovulated this month. (Also thanks to better opks that got darker each time)

Why oh why do I have 3 apps??? They all work differently! Premom is a load of shite! All my OPKs have been the exact same the last 3 days and it keeps changing which one it thinks is peak. The only one that measures each test completely individually is glow and maybeeee femometer but im not 100% sure on that one. Ovulation pains are well under way for me but I still haven't had a 100% positive OPK booo.

Beau - I can't tag you properly! But so pleased you seem to have managed to bring forward your ovulation this month. Fingers crossed it extends your LP :)

Not sure where I am in my cycle, but we go on holiday on the 16th and I suspect AF will turn up at some point that week.

@Mumofboys17 still no 'peak' peak for me today! They are all high! 83 is reaaallllyyy low for me for a peak so it can't be. However all my apps except glow said i ovulated today?? I had a drop in temp and now on my 2nd spike day. Who knows! I wouldn't say any of my OPKs have been peak!

@Beau20 bloody femometer!!! Same thing happened to me a few cycles ago, very dark looking positive and it said LH was 0 🤔🙄 I'd ignore its 'intelligent' reading it's clearly a peak looking OPK!

Wish mine would hurry up and get darker 😩

@Symptomspotter86 it's hard isn't it, because you know that people have the best of intentions when they say you need to "not try so hard" but it's really not that simple. If it was, we'd all be pregnant first time.

No idea what is going on with my OPKs!!! Apparently I've had a peak (deffo didn't look positive to me). Help? They aren't getting any darker but all my apps say they are getting more negative

Omg guys your cats!!! 😍😍 I used to have a big ginger tom as well, he was so grumpy. Sadly died 18 months ago, I had him since I was 13. Me and my OH only have a dog (he won't let me have a cat).

@Symptomspotter86 @Mumofboys17 omg I love ginger cats!! He's more creamy ginger in some lights! We went originally for the ginger boy in photo below but I literally fell in love with the cream boy, he settled in our arms while the ginger didn't really! But the lady who bred them said they are exactly the same temperament wise and always together! If I could have taken both I would have lol so excited to get him on the 20th
