March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

Tbh @Mockingbird0805 buy a 50 pack for the month of IC and do one a day at least and closer to when you expect to ovulate do two or more.

Mockingbird0805 · 14/02/2020 23:00

@littletandme thank you. Really hoping to catch lucky this time

littletandme · 14/02/2020 22:55

@Mockingbird0805 buy at least 20 cheapies and do one a day (I try to not go to the loo from around 2pm, then do one about 5.30 when I get home from work) from CD8 unless you know you generally ovulate early. When it starts to get quite dark I'd do another later in the evening so you can catch the peak surge.

How often do people recommend using an OPK this is the first month using them for me? If my Flo app is right I'm not due to ovulate for another 17 days Confused

karenkeys · 14/02/2020 18:47

CD7 and first try in 🤞 so hoping it happens this month - it’s my mum and my birthday in mid March so would be brilliant birthdays if we had this news to share! Hope you all have a good valentine’s 💕

Mycrazylife85 · 14/02/2020 16:14

@Adrianoska thank you. That made me feel better. We both pop in the shower first, sometimes together too ☺️ I think it helps too. As it happens I haven't got my peak OPK, in fact I went from almost positive to nothing at all but I temp so I know I haven't ovulated. Having PCOS sucks. Reckon that's my body trying to gear up but not managing 😔

Lola871 · 14/02/2020 11:53

@Sausage1990 I definitely need to focus on nutrition, I'm normally pretty good but have slipped into bad habits lately and the weight has been creeping on a bit!

I generally exercise quite a lot so just making sure I stick to my routine as well is a good thing to focus on!

karenkeys · 14/02/2020 11:52

@littletandme thanks I’m going to start tonight at CD7 just incase, then every second day until next weekend 🤞 for us all

Adrianoska · 14/02/2020 11:31

Hello @Mycrazylife85, I too am going crazy sometimes... So upsetting and frustrating process... 😔

But don't worry too much. I suffer from reoccurring UTI and I usually would also go to the loo straight away. But now I am keeping my legs up and drink loads before and after and it is OK. But one piece of advice : make your husband have a proper deep clean shower before BD, I think it stops me from getting any problems.

I just want a baby so bad...

Fingers and legs crossed 🤞🏻😘

littletandme · 14/02/2020 11:25

@karenkeys I think if there's a possibility of a shorter cycle it's definitely worth starting earlier. I had a positive opk last night (CD7) so hopefully it has worked for us this month. I have no idea what is a "normal" cycle for me!

Positive LH test for me this morning so I assume I will ovulate in the next 12-24 hours?

March bus
Sausage1990 · 14/02/2020 09:40

Hi ladies, I agree - let's hope the march bus brings us more luck than the February bus!
Thinking about the wait we have before the fertile window - I really focus on self care and destressing in the lead up to ovulation... I see it as nature's reminder to relax because stress can delay ovulation - which noone wants.

About a week before my predicted ovulation I will be using opk again to keep an eye on things but I usually just track my cm so I'll do that too. I'm focusing on eating better and giving my body nourishment & goodness this cycle because I've been quite lax with food so far...

What are you ladies going to in the lead up to ovulation or your TWW to stay as chilled as possible? Xx

Mycrazylife85 · 14/02/2020 08:17

Hi @Adrianoska it's crazy the lengths we go to. I have my folic acid, victim c, vitamin d, Myo-inositol, cough mixture (🤦🏻‍♀️😂) and seeds.

I have been suffering awfully with anxiety though. It's been crippling the last 12 hours. Have been trying to dtd and lie there for ten minutes before getting up to wee. I'm 34 and had awful uti's when I was late teens so have always weed straight after. It's a ritual. Now I spend two days worrying that 10 minutes will cause a uti despite drinking a lot after and going lots for hours after. It consumes me, and I've decided 5 minutes and I'm up. I can't cope with days of worrying and anxiety. This ttc stuff is messing with my head good and proper.

Hoping for a positive OPK today, but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ dtd last night just in case. Haven't had a drink in ages but tonight we'll have a glass I think ☺️ happy valentines ladies

Adrianoska · 14/02/2020 00:21

@SS123456, I am doing freaking everything I can by now. Hahha.
I used the ovulation sticks for the first time this month. For the first two I took pregnacare conception and this month I up my game with Proceive Max. I was eating bigger breakfasts and eat healthier, I lost some weight and I keep my legs up 😂
I also start using the Conceive Plus lube...
With my other two it took me 6 month each time... I wasn't worried then. But now I haven't got time on my side... And my second husband is absolutely desperate for a baby. He is younger by 6 years and we both never drink or smoke.
Hm...
I am going crazy already. I am only 2 days pass the ovulation and I am already symptom spotting 😅. Feel 6 month pregnant already ffs.
I really want to get pregnant. I mean really. Really really.
I hope it will happen to us all soon ❤️

SS123456 · 13/02/2020 22:33

Hi @Adrianoska 😁. I have been using LH tests since the start which seem to be showing that I'm ovulating but I am tracking my BBT this month too for the first time. How about you? I conceived in my 1st month TTC with my first so feeling a little worried this time around that this is the 4th month being that I am a good few years older now!

Adrianoska · 13/02/2020 21:24

Hello @SS123456 👋
I am also 36 and have two kids (12 and 6). I have been TTC for 3 months.
I am hoping that my period will not turn up on the 24th...
How are you doing? What's your methods? 😘

SS123456 · 13/02/2020 20:13

Hey ladies, please can I join you 😁. I am due to ovulate in the next day or so and had a medium strength LH test this morning so all looks on track 🤞🏻. This is my 4th month TTC baby number 2. I have a 7 year old son and I am 36

Hatepickinganame · 13/02/2020 19:30

Hi guys! Joining from feb bus too 😊 cd3 and impatient already 😂

MrsB2019x · 13/02/2020 19:19

Sorry to see you here @Sausage1990 👎 Hopefully this will be your month!

Seems like we’re getting a strong bus going 💪

Sausage1990 · 13/02/2020 17:08

Hi all I'm coming over from the February bus... Af arrived today 3 days early ☹️
This will be cycle 3 trying for #1. Currently my flo app is predicting ovulation at the start of March (around my birthday) so fingers crossed for a lucky birthday!

Hi again to all of those from the Feb Bus and nice to meet you all to everyone else 🙂

karenkeys · 13/02/2020 16:33

@littletandme you think it’s worth starting at CD6? I might move things forward if so. Don’t want to miss an early ovulation!

littletandme · 13/02/2020 16:00

Got the start of some EWCM today, also started SMEP from last night (CD6) just in case I do ovulate early!

OP posts:
karenkeys · 13/02/2020 15:05

I’m at CD6 and going to start DTD every second day from this weekend until next weekend. 🤞 for us all

Lola871 · 13/02/2020 14:26

Just checking in, I'm currently on CD3, impatiently waiting for fertile week which won't start for another 9 days! I think this bit feels longer than the TWW sometimes!

whateverintheworld · 12/02/2020 22:25

Hi everyone

Hope you don't mind me joining! It's my first cycle trying - 31 years old, DH is 38. I'm on CD17 but as my cycles are long my app is telling me ovulation is day 21. AF due 2 March. I've always had irregular cycles so know this is unlikely to be easy but trying to be optimistic!

Hoping for good news for everyone come March!
