March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

@paintfairy @littletandme Fem put my on 18th and confirmed it today because of 2 higher temps but when you say they're not high enough, I got 36.32 yesterday and 36.45 today, what is it meant to be?

calimommy · 20/02/2020 15:06

Tbh even though it's fun getting a BFP ASAP, it's also a pain because you are still on tender hooks till af date passes. Plus then you have to keep it to yourself for even longer. Although tbh after the two miscarriages I stopped keeping pregnancies a secret, I just don't announce them as such till later on. But if I was out with friends I'd just quietly decline a drink and say I'm early pregnant. I lost the pregnancies at 9&11 weeks so it pissed me off that once they were gone it was like they didn't matter. Anyho I've rambled a bit there ha!

Unfortunately I think af will come today. Balls!

Lola871 · 20/02/2020 15:04

@ApplePie86 I don't think we'll stop trying next month even though due date would be 21st December. I just think with the chances being fairly low each month anyway I wouldn't want to miss one. And I could get pregnant the next month and it come early so what different does it make really!

Franklydear · 20/02/2020 14:50

@calimommy, in my pregnancy I tested positive really late, I also had implantation bleeding that I had mistaken for a period, so was really much further along that I though, haven’t done the 2ww before, it’s driven me crazy

calimommy · 20/02/2020 14:04

@littletandme I have gotten 4 +OPK this cycle but I only logged one (the one I Hope was the real one) because my apps don't know what to make of it. I just noted the other three instead.

calimommy · 20/02/2020 14:02

@Franklydear my first 4 pregnancies I tested 6 days before af 😂 and got BFP! The 5th I didn't get a BFP until after af was due. I was so sure of my dates that time that it was v confusing. I've done two tests already this cycle and both were negatives, I have one left from the box and I'm trying to hold out. AF is due either today or Saturday. 😬

littletandme · 20/02/2020 13:07

@paintfairy yeah I thought that, Fem had been all confused since my early peak opk on CD7 😂

OP posts:
paintfairy · 20/02/2020 13:05

@littletandme I'm surprised it logs it. My app won't give a day until after the 3 high days, so there's no confusion. 1 high day can be an anomaly.

littletandme · 20/02/2020 12:59

@paintfairy what do you think of chart, I think Fem might be a bit over excited saying I ov'd yesterday as I only got my first peak opk last night and temp still isn't above 36.4. Think I'll see a higher temp in the morning instead? My temps have been all over the shop this cycle, last month was way less erratic.

@Franklydear yes I did wonder if I'd physically be able to "stop trying", probably not!

I am CD14 today as well and most likely ovulating today/tomorrow Smile

@littletandme, ideally I would avoid the second half of December, if not successful this cycle, we would be there, I don’t know if I can not try....

karenkeys · 20/02/2020 11:23

@littletandme I’d try next month too if I was due around early December! Unfortunately from my calculations I’d be looking at the due date falling around the end of December/New Years day - the worst time.

Franklydear · 20/02/2020 11:02

I am cd14, so ovulation due, I have tiny cramps and breast soreness but I could be imagining, af due on the 6th, see what happens, I am trying to set my maternity leave with the school holidays Blush

Franklydear · 20/02/2020 10:57

@karenkeys, testing late is an aspiration, ive been known to test 4 days before af is due Grin

littletandme · 20/02/2020 10:44

@ApplePie86 DH and I have considered having a break next month but I don't think we will. Based on my predicted ov date next month that would be 8th December due date which isn't too bad, even if I went overdue by 2 weeks.

Just catching up on all this. I’m 31 and trying for our first so I get a bit worried I’ve left it late too but my mum got pregnant at 40 and plenty of other people do so fingers crossed for everyone.

I’m on CD13 today, had some egg white discharge yesterday so hopefully that’s ovulation on it’s way. According to my clue app I’m due ovulation on CD20 but we are DTD every second day incase it’s early or later. I started taking folic acid too so hopefully I’ve not left it too late.

karenkeys · 20/02/2020 09:52

I’m planning on skipping a month for both a sanity break and to prevent a Christmas baby. My birthday is next month too so I can also enjoy eating what I want and having a few drinks as part of the break to soften the blow of another failed cycle, if I don’t have any luck.

Anon87 · 20/02/2020 09:15

@ApplePie86 I don't think I'd be too fussed over having a December baby. From a selfish POV, I work retail so I could start maternity before the big rush kicks in and actual have a Christmas off 😆

ApplePie86 · 20/02/2020 08:34

I'm CD4 just now. Waiting for AF to disappear.

No idea when I'll ovulate - last month was first full cycle taking inositol and I ovulated CD35 (+OPK on CD34) and started spotting CD11. Hoping cycle gets a bit shorter but I'm just pleased I appear to be ovulating now.

What's everyone's plan with trying/not trying if it could result in a Christmas baby? And what dates would you not want to be giving birth over Christmas period?

I see a lot of people are skipping that month but to be honest if I can get pregnant I really wouldn't mind when a baby came so don't think I'll stop trying.

I guess that would be for anyone who ends up in the April bus.

Lola871 · 20/02/2020 07:18

CD10 here, due to ovulate sometime between CD16-19 so almost at the fertile period! Feels a bit like wishing your life away sometimes doesn't it, waiting for fertile week, then the TWW then waiting for fertile week again.

karenkeys · 20/02/2020 00:28

I would love to be able to hold off for a week after AF is due! More likely going to end up testing the day AF is due around 5th March. I’ve got a pack of 2 FRERs here so it will be hard to avoid the temptation.

I think I’m ovulating now/tomorrow as I’ve had pink spotting with EWCM today so almost on to the 2WW 🤞

I don’t think I could test on Friday 13th as it’s already an unlucky day 😂 hopefully will be lucky for you.

Franklydear · 19/02/2020 22:48

I've been looking at the calendar, and decided to test on Friday 13th if still no af, would be a week late, and not a day before, I have only one test at home...

MrsB2019x · 19/02/2020 21:04

We need to support each other not to test early 💪 wasted 3 FRERs doing that last cycle

Franklydear · 19/02/2020 21:00

I am determined to not test until 1 week late, this time, O due on Friday, only guess work, so it is going to be nearly a whole hellish month....gh not complaining about dad lots either

elysiann · 19/02/2020 20:27

Sitting here on CD 12 (im)patiently waiting for ovulation! My app is predicting CD 17, although my cycles vary so I think it could be anytime from CD 15 - 20. Who knows?! I can’t believe that I’m so keen to get to the 2WW when I know that’s going to be horrible and drag too!
