March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

@calimommy Many congratulations on the BFP!!! 🎉🎉🎉✨ that is indeed one strong positive you got there! All the best with the rest of pregnancy! ❤️

Sausage1990 · 22/03/2020 19:19

Awww congratulations @calimommy thats a really lovely strong BFP!!! XX

calimommy · 22/03/2020 15:28

@Sausage1990 thanks for that good to know 👍
@Franklydear & @ReiRiko sending positive vibes for a good result.

Today is my AF day and after all the light lines it is finally nice and dark. Feeling very positive mentally now. This is a nice little thing to look forward to and get me through the weeks occupying the children at home. Which is no joke, I'm a SAHM so I'm used to this but the constant activities, snacks, meals, snacks, snacks, snacks, schoolwork, snacks, crafts, snacks and more meals is exhausting! I sincerely hope we can flatten the curve and bring this under control. So many deaths.

May* that was meant to say

Newbie0818 · 22/03/2020 14:25

That’s incredibly helpful @Sausage1990 thank you.

I’m on CD5 now but we’ll actively prevent this month. We’re going to start our ttc journey again at the end of my after my birthday.

Hope everyone is keeping safe x

Franklydear · 22/03/2020 13:11

That’s very helpful, thanks @Sausage1990

Sausage1990 · 22/03/2020 11:46

Hi ladies - I've posted this on the April bus too so sorry if its repeatative for those on both buses like me.

I found this post about pregnancy guidelines for covid-19 for the population ... It also adds about those who work within health care and what to do. I found it very helpful and reassuring to read because even if I found I was expecting right now, it would be September before I hit the 28 week mark so it's reassured me to continue to try 😊

Hope it's helpful for you too if you're torn. 👍🏻

ReiRiko · 22/03/2020 09:43

Cycle day 34 and 9 days late on period but still BFN Sad the only reason I have hope now is because of the spotting I had a couple of days before my period was due. I'm using Clomid 50mg on my first cycle so I'm not sure what's going on.

Franklydear · 22/03/2020 08:52

Hi, not much happening here, I am off sick and probably socially shield for months, health condition, I have one test at home, but as only cd 22, I don’t want to use it yet as probably bfn, ...dh is suffering for the first time the tww, as now he really wants to know, ... never was botheredbefore

YaThink · 22/03/2020 08:27

@calimommy I took the test again. Sadly it's a clear BFN on CD30 now. I can also now just start to feel the AF cramps. Would explain my terrible mood yesterday.

calimommy · 22/03/2020 02:57

@Sausage1990 I hate that feeling! I hope something happens soon either way so you aren't strung along much longer. X

Adrianoska · 22/03/2020 02:37

@sausage it is a horrible feeling when you almost know the tummy is empty...
So difficult 😒❤️❤️❤️

Who will be catching the April bus? Did anyone set it up already? ❤️

Adrianoska · 22/03/2020 02:34

@franklydear and @littleandme, I am excited for you two! Any more tests? 😍

Sausage1990 · 21/03/2020 18:38

@littletandme nothing like self isolation to help the TWW go quicker 😕

I'm currently 16-17dpo (I think) and on cd38... af is still MIA and another BFN this morning... I don't think we did it this month so I'm not going to test again and just wait for af.

Hope you ladies are all doing OK xxx

littletandme · 21/03/2020 07:51

Morning guys! We are self isolating for 7 days and my boss even delivered me my pc and all the paperwork I need to wfh until next Friday so I finally have our little box room set up as an office!

3dpo and both my apps have confirmed ovulation on the same day, we managed to DTD 4 times in FW including -1 and day of ovulation so really hoping we're in with a good shot this month. Would be nice to have a Christmas baby to go with our summer baby Smile

So cd20, and no symptoms, even of pms, will Mother Nature have irony instead of a sense of humour? After 10 years, will it happened in a pandemic?

Sausage1990 · 20/03/2020 14:37

Awww @calimommy I'm excited for you. Love that your lines are getting darker 😊

No af for me yet but also 2 days of BFN for me so far - The waiting game continues...

calimommy · 20/03/2020 13:53

@YaThink will you take another? I think I can see something but it's fainter than faint. Also, this time my FMU hasn't been my stronger line time for BFP, the last few days I notice that if I test in the evening I'll see darker lines than the previous day. I had v faint lines two days ago but now they are dark. 🤞 for you

Newbie0818 · 20/03/2020 12:38

And @YaThink I definitely see the faintest line on there. But my line eye is usually unreliable!

Newbie0818 · 20/03/2020 06:45

So sorry it wasn’t the holiday you hoped for @littletandme :( the world is a downer at the moment.

Regarding the not trying @Sausage1990 I am going to take a break next cycle anyway, but I don’t think I’m ovulating so the cycle after that my goal will be to see if that’s happening. I think it’s going to take me a while to get pg and I really don’t want to stop 😢 I don’t really know what to do.

YaThink · 19/03/2020 21:12

Maybe I'm seeing things but I swear I can see the worlds faintest line on this stick. I'm cd27. I'll try again tomorrow. X

March bus
Franklydear · 19/03/2020 16:40

I mention it to dh, should we stop trying? Hard to decide

Sausage1990 · 19/03/2020 16:28

@paintfairy yes I'm the same. And thank you @calimommy for the information. It is really helpful. Xx

paintfairy · 19/03/2020 15:34

@Sausage1990 I'm due AF in a week. I'm the same and can do nothing about it now! Next month I'm not going to try. After that, I'll see where things are. Initially I thought it wouldn't matter but I am starting to feel more concerned now.

@littletandme No traffic. No one in pubs. No food on shelves. 😂 Otherwise fine.

calimommy · 19/03/2020 15:30

When you are pregnant your immune system dampens it's self down so you don't reject the baby, so you are more susceptible to illness. Also with a high fever there is a risk of miscarriage. Later in pregnancy fluid can build up in the body (personally I swell like the sea) so this can cause pneumonia. Atm they don't know if the virus passes through the placenta, there have only been two infant cases so far and those were ?infection at time of delivery or immediately after. They don't believe that the virus can damage the baby inutero or cause birth defects but it is early days, so that may change.
