Rah hope we haven't wasted our money - monitor still only showing high and not PEAK!! As temperature rose yesterday quite considerably (cd15) I looked to ovulate yesterday ???? confused though - and now getting rather tired of this tedious bd just for the sake of keeping up with the bl*&^y monitor?! Spontaneity has completely gone out the window! and will have to convince dh that tonight is still a good time especially when he's abroad today and doesn't get home until 10 and he left at 5.30 this morning...grrrr

Oh well if it doesn't work this month then I am...well I don't know yet....

Hi to everyone else must dash.l.

RahRah1 · 13/11/2007 20:37

Hi Nappy

Big hugs {{{HUGS}} I know how hard the appointments are. Especially when you don't get the best news. {{HUGS}}

Those swimmers are annoying! My husbands swimmers are deformed! Only a certain % of mens swimmers are formed properly and the rest have issues. Well my husbands deformed population is higher. It should be about 15% and his is 5%. But like you said you have DC, so it only takes one to be a hero!
Glad you husband is dealing with everything OK. Its a difficult one.

It sounds like you were telling your consultant what to do... LOL... Have you had the hormone tests to indicate your ovulating? Its good news they are going to follicle track. Its a great opportunity to ensure everything is working correctly

When do they thing they will start the tracking?

MINXI - I'm having an issue with my monitor too. I think the sticks are not getting the reading before I put it in the monitor. Today when the stick came out, it was only then the window started getting blue from the urine and then I got one clear line. Do you get this? I'm going to hold the stick down tomorrow and see what happens as I should be on a high at least. Well based on last month Not even had sex yet!
'the monitor says NO'

Morning all. Have been to consultant and it was an interesting time. Firstly he was actullay running on time hooray! and we were in and out by 9.30!

Basically looks likes DHs troops are very low, so they have asked him to repeat the test. because he could not believe we had a child! and therefore thought that it might be a bad day! Just goes to show that you can a BFP with poor swimmers we are the proof.

I did managed to get his attention onto the fact that my proesterone level was low and that my LP was 9. He said that indicated I was not ovulating and should try clomid - which they do folicle tracking throughout - which means going to the hospital every couple of days!

I pointed out that "why do I get a significant temp jump if I am not ovulating, can't we try a progestrone supplement instead of scary clomid" So... he agreed that it was a bit of an odd one and has agreed that we will do 1 cycle tracking without clomid to see what the F**K my corpus luteum (if there is one) is doing and then if I am not OV'ing (which he suspects) he hass given me a perscription for clomid and authorised that.

As you can probably tell I am a bit wound up and emotional and praise God for my amazing child that now seems such a miracle (well actually after a year of trying it felt like that at the time too - as many of you can probably understand).

Ok rambling again. DH taking it all very well actually and is off for another test next week.

Thanks for listening team you are all super stars.

Gracie14 · 12/11/2007 09:26

Hi all,

Well I've had a good weekend away and feel much better sorry about the depressing post on Friday seem to be having a lot of ups and downs at the moment

minxi - Keep bding hun that monitor will be showing high soon I'm sure Hope you enjoyed the wine, your so right about it taking a while if you couldnt have a drink once in a while then I think we would all go mad. (If we're not already )

Nappy - Good luck with consultant tomorrow, sorry can't think of any questions at the moment but will have a think and let you know if I do. Let us know how it goes, would be very interested to hear

Ready - Sorry to hear your having a hard time hun, hope it all gets sorted soon for you and hopefully we will see you on MN again very soon

Well I had been having some EWCM but has now stopped - although I'm not expecting normal things at the moment with my cycle. I did take my temp this morning and it was still low so haven't ovulated yet (I suppose I might not this month but who knows!) so just a waiting game here in a strange way hoping that AF turns up soon so that we can get back to some kind of normality

Ready · 11/11/2007 22:42

Hey ladies. Just peeking in to let you know that I am thinking of you all... but have some issues in RL which are not great and intermittent internet access and not much time on my hands - all added together mean that I am not able to keep up with MN at the moment.

seaside72 · 09/11/2007 19:01

Hi all (seaside gingerly pops head in) Just wanted to check in and say Hi - I think about you all lots and send loads of belly rubbing, good egg, positive OV vibes.

Rah - special hugs for you and your DH and B- I knew it was this week but was not sure of exact date - lots and lots of love.

Now where is that pregnancy panda???? We need him to send another flurry of BFPs asap.

seaside - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Gracie14 · 09/11/2007 13:50

Hi all,

Rah - Reflexology was relaxing and I slept really well last night but today feel tearful and sad I thought I had been keeping quite positive but today feel like it isn't going to happen for us. I must try and keep positive

What are you taking the B6 for? - sorry proberbly a silly question to ask

Nappy - I think you should definately try reflexology/acupunture its worth a try anyway even if it just helps you to relax.

Hi to everyone else

NappyValley · 09/11/2007 12:32

btw anyone been watching GM TV and thinking maybe adoption would be easier?

NappyValley · 09/11/2007 12:31

Morning all. No I haven't stowed away on the many cruise liners that come thru Southampton, but have been ever so busy trying to get new enterprise off the ground.

Rah I tried vit B6 earlier this year and it absolutely threw my sleep. It stimulates the nervous system so it also made me edgy and prementral!! I have been told that it needs to be taken with a vitB complex as well, as the other B vits aid absorption on the B6.
p.s. was thinking of you yesterday too. x x

Lots of EWCM yesterday, which for me means that OV on the way in 4 days!!! My EWCM is soooo not in time with my eggs, which I believe I am right in saying means that DH swimmers are not protected and nurtured, so need to be fast (good if we ever do make another baby it will probably be a boy)

Off to consultant on tuesday, to find out what happens next, but think reflexology or acupuncture might well help bring my bad boy Corpus Luteums into line!!!

Sorry I am rambling again!!!!!

RahRah1 · 09/11/2007 12:12

Morning all... I'm waiting for the washing machine man! GRRRR

Thanks for all your thoughts and best wishes, most appreciated. {{{GROUP HUG}}}

Should be getting my monitor today... YIPPPEEE

Plus has anyone been taking B6 and had really bad sleep on it? I have started taking 100mg this month and my sleep has been terrible. I think B6 can effect your nervous system???

Hope everyone is well and having a good day.

Gracie - hope you had a good relaxing time at the reflexology... A relaxed approach is always the best... I tell myself that every month.. not sure if it registers!

Catch you all later Xx

Rah - hugs for you today, I remembered Bertie's birthday was today. Thinking of you.

Gracie14 · 08/11/2007 14:17

Hi all,

Rah - Thats such a lovely thing to do, it must be so hard for you, I'll be thinking of you too. Take care of yourself

Herb - Welcome to the thread, so sorry to hear about your miscarriages
Pleased you have decided to join the thread everybody is so lovely and supportive on here and in answer to your question it is normal for your temps to vary you just need to see a rise in your temperature that stays up to know ovulation has happened, also look out for EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) because then all that bding action needs to happen at this time. Do you know what CD your on? If so why don't you add yourself onto the list Hope your stay on here brings a BFP very soon for you, we are all definately in need of some on this thread

minxi - Good luck with your monitor

Littlesqirt - Enjoy the bding

Thinking and Ready - Hope your okay, and getting ready for lots of action this month

Not sure what CD I'm on to be honest as don't know if my cycles will be messed up now due to miscarriage , I have had abit of EWCM today but not temping so I suppose I won't be sure whats happening really . I'm off to the reflexologist this evening hopefully feel nice and relaxed afterwards and having a girly weekend away which I am so in need of although could be very bad timing if ovulation happens this weekend but trying not to get too obsessed about it all. Anyway think I have waffled on enough, hope your all well, speak soon

LittleSquirt · 08/11/2007 12:34

What a wonderful thing to do Rah - just wanted to say that I am thinking of you today too.

Welcome Herbaceous!

Quick update from me, still not temping this month but couldn't help carrying on using my CB monitor and I got my first "high" reading this morning. DH is very excited at the prospect of a BDing-packed weekend .

Hope all is going well for everyone, big hugs to you all! xxx

RahRah1 · 08/11/2007 12:06

Thanks girls... really appreciate your thoughts.. I'm OK, just been to the neo-natal department where Bertie was and given them a donation, which we want to do every year for his birthday, so they keep getting things from him. We gave them loads of prem outfits for babies from 1lb upwards. They are so tiny, but lovely. But quite hard to come by. We also had little cardigans, hats, bottees, blankets, moses basket and mini teddy's. Except my mum burst into tears , so I felt V sad for her.
Oh well better go DH is coming home soon so we can go to the church. Catch you all later and thanks again. XX

Hi herbaceous - Welcome

herbaceous · 08/11/2007 10:39

Hello girls

Can I join you? Quick history, for those not already heartily sick of me: ttc for three years, in that time have had four miscarriages. All after 10 weeks. Last one in March. As I'm 41, I'm thinking I ought to get scientific about trying to conceive again, and hope this one works out.

So, I've bought a digital thermometer kit thing from Boots. I'm still in the first half of the month, and my temperature varies by up to .4 between days. Is this normal?

minxi · 08/11/2007 10:35

Rah thinking of you today I hope its not too hard for you...{{{{{hugs}}}}}

fettleandbabyfettle · 08/11/2007 08:12

Sorry for hijack, but just wanted to send Rah some big hugs and lots of thoughts to you. Hope today passes as easily as possible
xxxxx

RahRah1 · 07/11/2007 17:04

Thanks Ready

Minxi, just brought a monitor. £65 from a wholesaler through my mums work. Much cheaper than a shop and the way I keep watching monitors on ebay I will never end up actually buying one. LOL

well done on your purchase, very good buy! Especially with the sticks included!

Hopefully we can sell ours soon, as they won't be needed!

Have fun! and may the force be with you!
