Congratulations Thinking

minxi · 30/11/2007 21:26

fabulous news thinking good news for you xxxx

Thinking · 30/11/2007 19:32

You ladies are the best

Well, I have now pee'd on two Tesco PT one ovulation cheapy (it was in the house) and a Clearblue digital and they all say...Mama, you are up the duff. My DH and I keep giggling to each other, like a couple of schoolkids.

I know it is early days yet, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. I have already penciled myself in with an independant midwife (only way to get a home birth around here...saving for ages for this reasonm have to put the rest on a payment plan)

Just one question, the results are very thick dark lines and the digital test give an result in under 30 seconds (rather than 3 minutes) does that mean I could be further along then I think !?! With my DD 10DPO tests were very faint.

Gracie14 · 30/11/2007 17:58

Thinking - Fantastic news hun , you have cheered me up so much. So, so pleased for you. I'll be having that wine for you to celebrate

Heres to a happy and healthy 9 months, yipee

RahRah1 · 30/11/2007 11:20

OMG Thinking .... many congratulations!!!

Maybe the pregnancy panda is back out to play...

No wine and champagne for you this Christmas then... sure you don't mind!! I will make sure I have you share

Sorry, I have been absent recently.

Well on top of---
My DH running for hills.
Illness in the family
My temp thing giving up the ghost

I have not been thinking about temping or TTC this month.

So this morning I POAS before I got in the shower, ahead of the wine tonight.

It is a BFP !!!

I am so in shock. This is (relatively) unexpected. Thick pink line appeared quickly on a Tesco PT, which I bought last month and never used.

Oh my, oh my...another August baby

RahRah1 · 30/11/2007 09:53

Howdy girlies

Hope you are all well...

minxi - So sorry af arrived. I know what you mean about not getting hopes up and being realistic. Even though I know its not happening for us, I can't help feeling devastated when my period arrives. So I know where you heads at.. Wish I could give you a hug in RL... {{{HUGS}}}

Gracie... Know what you mean about being another year old. Next one for me is 33 scary! We will have to have a MN birthday party for you!

I'm afraid it is unlikely to be good news from me, as have all the usual symptoms of coming on. But good news is that LP seems to have returned to normal, as I'm about 10DPO... I was having a panic about 5DPO that I was coming on like last month, very early and I had a major problem... but normal service seems resumed! phew!

Nappy - I must admit Nappy I do find it easier when I'm not hearing announcements from friends and family. I think your right, I am finding it easier we are now heading towards treatment and know that they will be doing their best to achieve a pregnancy. I'm just not sure how I will handle it if it does not work... so trying not to think about that!

Hope everyone else is OK... Catch you all laters (Monday will probably be my next internet chance)

Morning,

Nappy - your right it has been a hard month for a lot of us, Santa had better get busy this month then .

Still hoping Rah and Thinking are going to be giving us some good news on this thread soon, hope all is well with you both

NappyValley · 29/11/2007 16:07

Afternoon girls, am pretending to do some work.

Sorry I have been a bit absent and everyone is so very depressed. Understandably. My hormones are sooo up and down too.

BUT I have to confess in answer to "how do I cope with the stress of ttc" well I had a lot of counselling over the summer which has really helped. I really recommend it.

Add to that I have some close friends who I now talk openly about it to and are very supportive. Which is really useful as I have to drop DS off with them while I am having this folicle tracking done.

I don't know, for me I have found it much easier on a day-2-day basis and around af time now that I know there is a problem and it is not just random chance that I am not gettting a BFP. Did you find that too Rah?
Also no more friends have announced they are up the duff for several months which is a relief too.

Having said that I have not forgotten that devastating feeling every month which is where i was when I joined this group. My heart goes out to all this cycle as it has been a tough one on us all, as Christmas is looming. Maybe if we sleep with Santa we'll get lucky!!

Gracie14 · 29/11/2007 12:36

minxi - So sorry hun I'll be thinking of you and sending ((hugs)), I think a few of us will be doing the same not temping just chatting hopefully it will be less stressful that way . Even after all this time it is inevitable that we all get our hopes up - look after yourself and we'll all be here for you

Rah - My birthday is the 14th, not quite so happy being another year older

Speak soon

minxi · 29/11/2007 11:32

af has arrived - no warning just full flow...still feeling sick with sore (.)(.) but think must have a virus as have sore throat and cough too...

Oh well I too am giving up temping...will use the monitor but to be honest just feel rubbish - didn't get my hopes up but deep down must have done a small bit as daren't speak to anyone in case I burst out crying!!

Hope everyone else ok - will stay to chat but to see temp dip every month is too upsetting!

RahRah1 · 29/11/2007 09:14

Howdy all.....

I love those trashy mags too! Love to read stories about how bad peoples lives are... always makes me feel that bit better!

Gracie - good on you, planning a good xmas and birthday. When is your birthday by the way?

Ready - I was expecting a nice email for when I logged on. But nothing there ... I feel so deserted! lol

Minxi - I hope af stays away for you. Just thinking about your monitor, as you got so many highs... was it FF that pinpointed ovulation?

Hope everyone else is OK... (((WAVES)))

Ok better be off... as still have loads of work to do.. catch you all laters

Rah - Lovely to see you on here, it has given me the kick I needed to email you back, I kept putting it off cos I thought you didn't have broadband

Gracie - Hope the mag and the chocolate were comforting Was it something trashy like Heat or Now?

Hope everyone else is doing well

minxi · 28/11/2007 13:24

still no sign of af here...feel dreadfully nauseous but have done on and off since Sunday and now have extremely burning chest and it is quite sore...which I never get or had before...
With my last two which last one was 5years ago now had no symptons....
feel like af is on its way so just a matter of time, must have ovulated later than cd15 as do have cramps and have done on and off last few days...am going to wait until Saturday to test aagain though- it would definitely be here by then...small glimmer of hope but after 3 years can't see it myself

Rah glad to see you back - and glad move went well....

RahRah1 · 28/11/2007 09:06

Hi All

I'm in work for the first time in ages and straight on MN!

Move went really well. No hick ups and we completed at about 10.30 in the morning! Amazing!

Love the new house. Its so warm and so much more space. We have loads of work to do to it to make it like home, but its going to be a perfect family home for when we have our next baby!

Gracie and Ready - So sorry to see you both got AF's.

Minxi - I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm on CD26 and should be due on about CD30. But been having really bad PMT and cramps. So think my LP will be less again this month. I have not been taking pregnacare for the last couple of months, so I think I will go and buy another 9 months worth and stick to them. I also stopped taking B6, so I might add that back into the mix. All the vits do seem to have made a difference. So back on them me thinks In fact my consultant recommended them!

Better go as first day back in the office and have so much to do... including paying the wages! Since I'm spending like no ones business I better do them as they include mine! lol

Hope everyone is well... Xx

Morning girls, thank you I know its not over until af arrives and she hasn't yet!!?? I must have ovulated differently or something...going to wait a few days to test again...Have only bought one pack of tests back in January and they are packed ready for moving!! which is why I headed out yesterday...duh! will see - sure af will arrice today!

Hope everyone is well...gracie and Ready hope you are feeling better

Rah how was the move - hope you ok...

Gracie14 · 27/11/2007 15:24

Ready - Your right we do have to keep going and if I didn't have you all on here I think I would have become very depressed by now as nobody knows in RL (apart from my mum). I will just have to pull myself together and get bding again this month and hope its a lucky christmas for all of us

minxi - Sorry about the BFN hun but like Ready said its not over yet. ((HUGS))

Well I'm going home to snuggle up with my magazine and chocolate bar and feel sorry for myself for the rest of the evening, hoping to feel abit more positive tomorrow

Ready · 27/11/2007 14:26

((((Gracie)))) - I feel for you flower, honestly, I never thought it would be this hard to conceive. I didn't think it would be easy, but I never anticipated 16 cycles I was clinging to a slightly different aspect, I thought that the HSG would clear the way, but it hasn't made a difference We have to keep going though. So long as we support each other that's key. Thinking of you chick.

Minxi - It ain't over til it is over. Hang in there! And don't beat yourself up for testing.

minxi · 27/11/2007 14:05

Gracie sorry to hear af has arrived.

Just been to Sainsburys and bought a first response bfn how stupid am I and why did I waste money when I know its going to be negative...there was just a small glimmer of hope...oh well will wait for af now have af cramps and just feel rubbish..

Gracie14 · 27/11/2007 13:03

AF has arrived for me I'm afraid it has hit me hard this month, was kind of clinging onto the fact that I could be more fertile after MC but this month was not to be, again!!!

Ready · 27/11/2007 10:48

Gracie and Minxi - Thinking of you both today, fingers are firmly crossed that your outcomes are the flipside of mine. I need something to spur me on for cycle 16 and your BFPs would do it Keep us posted. Hugs.

minxi · 27/11/2007 09:32

Gracie stay strong - it does mean that this month you can focus on starting to ttc again properly...fingers crossed.

I daren't hold up much hope - after 3 years since coming off depo I just can't imagine it ever happening ever again! but you never know...

hi to everyone else...

Gracie14 · 27/11/2007 09:17

Morning ladies,

Ready - I'm thinking about you, please hold on in there and come back when your ready.

Nappy - I find the same actually until I started ttc I thought everyone just fell pregnant when they decided to try but I now know of lots of people that tried for well over a year + before they fell pregnant so there is hope (Just wish 'hope' would show its face around here )

Minxi - Fingers crossed for you that the temp hike means good things

Well I think AF is about to arrive I should be happy really that hopefully things are starting to get back to normal, but very emotional about it today.
