Not bad thanks Gracie - gearing up for moving house Hope you are well?

Fingers crossed for everyone - wouldn't it be great if we all cleared off this thread this month and started a new one in ante-natal together

Gracie14 · 11/12/2007 14:45

Rah - Sorry I wasn't here to wish you good luck, but fingers crossed for Friday so pleased things are moving along for you
I had to laugh at the probe up your arse - you would think she should know where to put it by now.

Nappy - I obviously misunderstood as well, sorry about that

minxi - Please don't be concerned about the ewcm, especially with everything that is going on with you at the mo. I thought I had ovulated early as had lots of ewcm last week and we hardly bd at all as DP had the flu, use the 2 hours you have got tomorrow if you can and bd and then crossed fingers for this month. ((HUGS)) to you hun

Ready - Hope your well hun

RahRah1 · 11/12/2007 12:15

Howdy

Just got back from the clinic... Thanks everyone for your messages of support. Really appreciated. {{{GROUP HUGS}}}

I have 2 follicles that are sized 11 and they need to be 17 before they will release one, so having another scan on Friday to see what size they are then.

Oh and I had been dreaming all night that when I got scanned there was a little baby there and I did not need to go through this... .. but no.. as usual just kidding myself... I'm such an idiot! .. some how I had convinced myself that I had a period but it was really a heavy implantation bleed...

Secondly she tried to put the probe up my arse and I nearly dived off the bed! .. I had to say "I think you have the wrong hole"

Minxi - I am right with you on the missing husband when moving.... its such a nightmare. good luck and hope all goes well. Sorry you are feeling sad... I really think Xmas has a tendency to highlight whats missing etc... {{{BIG HUGS}}} I promise moving will take your mind off it!

Nappy - Sorry I misunderstood... But its defo better that the results are improving. SOunds like you have him on a good combination of tablets. There are some protein vit's that you can get (I put DH on them for a while) that are really meant to help the swimmers. I can get the name of them if you like?? But they are very pricey... hence why my DH only had them for about 3 months.

Ready - Glad I'm on your list... ... Is it a long list?? Hope everyone one is OK your end and your DH is happy in his new club.

Gracie - Hope you are OK...

Big kisses to all

Hi girls...
Rah good luck with scan...good news is required soon!!
Nappy at least the sperm is getting better so you never know - hope your cold is better!
Ready good luck with your move
gracie hope you are ok

Last time to write before pc gets packed away! Although dh now away during the move!! and today had loads of (he was around at about 5am this morning but we thought tomorrow would be fine - nothing over the weekend as he was away too!!!) ew and now he is away (back tomorrow for about 2 hours in the morning) will that be too late ?! oh well have resigned myself that its not this month anyway - feel sad already and I was trying not to get hopes up at all again
anyway must get on as loads to do will be back on ove the weekend to catch up properly!!

Ready · 10/12/2007 21:35

That's what I was going to say. It only take 1... so 9 million means there is still a chance. Improvements means they are going in the right direction. Look to the positive A healthy diet can certainly have an impact!

NappyValley · 10/12/2007 20:27

Good luck for tommorrow rah.

Thanks for the congrats over the swimmers, but I think you guys misunderstood. they are still totally rubbish, just not as rubbish as before!!! only 9M per squirt. Low sperm count would be 20M and average bloke I read somewhere is 50M!! I know it only takes 1 little guy though.

The increase in sperm count is purely due to the fact that second time round he was not worried or stressing about the process!!!!! IMO.

He is now on a daily dose of Selenium, Vit A, C, E and zinc. Probably re test in 3 months.

Ready · 10/12/2007 17:16

Rah - Babe!!! Good luck tomorrow, hope the scan goes well, and the follicles are at the right stage - Things are hectic here, but you are on my list, to email. Hope you are well. Big hugs xx

Oh YES the festive smilies are here

Well OVing today I think, but had horrid cold and feel really sick so I don't think I can face doing it tonight. Pathetic I know where is my commitment!!!!!!!

Gracie glad to know you are OK and a very festive person.

Ready · 09/12/2007 17:26

Lovely to hear from you Gracie - Hope you are enjoying the festivities And liking the attitude about ovulating - just wait and see what happens, but don't let anything ruin Christmas for you

Gracie14 · 09/12/2007 15:54

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been on for ages, have been so busy. Was on a course last week and busy busy weekend with christmas do's and putting up decorations. I love Christmas

I don't really know where I am in my cycle although I could have already ovulated as had EWCM few days ago but haven't managed to bd very much as DP has had flu but not feeling too depressed about it I am not letting the worry ruin my favourite time of year.

Hope all the moves go well Ready and Minxi -

Rah - Very excited for you and the IUI

Nappy - Fantastic news about the swim test improvement

Thinking - Hope your good hun, and resting

Bye for today girls hopefully be on abit more this week, take care

(Sorry about the overuse of christmas smileys but just love them )

Ready · 07/12/2007 20:59

Crikey, we've all been so busy lately. I suppose that is to be expected in the run up to Christmas. Not long to go now

Minxi - Hope the move goes well.
Nappy - Great news about the improvement on the swimming - has dh been doing anything different?
Rah - Excited for you with the IUI
Gracie - Are you out there flower? Hope you are well?

Hope everyone else is brill and excited about the festive period looming on the horizon

NappyValley · 06/12/2007 13:55

HI all sorry just been totally rushed off feet and away at weekend and having nightmare week, as DS suddenly worked out how to get out of cot and I had a nightmare trying rapid returns to get him back to bed!! But MN came to my rescue as always.

Anyway more importantly congratulations THINKING I am just soooooo pleased for you. Fingers crossed all goes well and really really happy. made my day.

then also

RahRah great news on the IUI. You have been so very patient and I have a really good feeling that this is going to be worth that wait! Great news as well.

minxi you must rattle more than me!! that Agnus castus tastes foul!! And how much vitB6 are u on? Good luck with the move, stressful but at least you will be in before Christmas.

ready hello there missus. How are things for you. Hope all ok.

Hello to everyone else too.

Was at hospital yesterday morning for first folicle tracking appt. (Ultrasound probe of you know where, to see what those little chappies are up to). Well looks like there are some folicles thinking about erupting on the right and will be back again on wed to see if they did and how they behave in the latter part of the cycle.

Also got DHs 2nd swim test results. 100% improvement up from 4.4Mil to 9.6 mil with only 29% going in a straight line. Well we both know I am the one with a sense of direction and being a bloke his boys won't stop and ask for directions. He took the first results better than the second, which was strange.

Also was away the the weekend with group of friends we now have 5 sprogs between us and met this time last year. Thought I would have a baby too but the time this years trip rolled around, but did not feel too bad, as am now resigned to it might not happen. Everyone was saying well maybe you are the 1 who will be pregnant next time, but I decided the nip it in the bud and just said "we are probably only having 1 kid".

OK got to get on with some work!!!

THinking yet again yippeeeeeeeeeeee

RahRah1 · 06/12/2007 13:28

Hi all

Minxi - good luck with the move. Your right moving whilst temping and using a monitor is not good! I'm not using my monitor this month either as the drugs that will be given to me to make my eggs drop will interfer will my monitor. Plus I'm getting scanned, so will actually see what my eggs are doing! YIPPEE

Thinking - I defo think its worth it, especially after my experiences on the labour ward. Even when your critical you still don't get 100% full on nursing if they are over stretched. Its crazy! With an independent you build a bond and trust and they are dedicated just to you! It is defo something we will consider when we finally get pregnant!

Ready - your bathroom sounds NICE! Have fun packing up again and dreaming about xmas in your new house!

Everyone keeps saying to me new house, new baby! So thats me and Minxi and Ready who are moving into new houses! Lets see if the theory works!

Gracie hope you are well.. sending you hugs.. {{HUGS}}

OP posts:
Ready · 05/12/2007 21:28

Thinking - I am sure she will be worth every penny

Minxi - I am moving in 12 days, counting down Hope your move goes well, I am sure it will. Like you say, just enjoy having a month off, then back to monitoring in the new year perhaps? I hope you are right, I am looking forward to graduating

Hope everyone is doing well?

Thinking · 05/12/2007 20:54

Rah, Sadly £1800 for an independant midwife and that is the cheapest package where I get all the tests etc done on the NHS and have her for labour and a couple of visits only.

We are wiping out our meager savings, having a very light christmas and saving like mad over the next 30 weeks. I hope she is worth it.

minxi · 05/12/2007 10:10

Rah...good news on the scan....and super duper luck for the iui!!!! not had fsh either - why not?! Hope all goes well we deserve some extra good news for us old timers.....

Ready am moving next week so haven't even turned monitor on this month or temped!! To be honest can't bear the dissapointment of seeing things happen towards the end of the month for the inevitable....am taking vit b, agnus castus, zinc this month and strangely enough am taking robittusin for a dreadful throat and cough I have and I have heard that if you take that daily up to ovulation you produce more mucous.... well as I will have no idea when ov, think sometimes towards the end of next week (smack in middle of move) I shall just stop taking it then...worth a try anyway, next month will go back to monitor but for now need to get better and focus on move and can't think about ttc!!Hope you are okay and I know what its like still on the ttc treadmill - we will all graduate soon...I just know it

Hi to everyone else - must go as supposed to be packing...

Ready · 04/12/2007 14:40

Minxi - thanks for thinking of me, flower. Means a lot Hope you are ok? I was so hopeful for you, full steam ahead with the monitor though - this month! Come on!!!

Rah - Fingers crossed for the IUI, I am so excited that it is happening so soon, bring on that bfp Don't know what my FSH is - haven't been tested for it (is it a day3 test?) - wondering why I haven't been tested for it.

How's everyone else doing? Anyone being really good and charting their temperatures?

RahRah1 · 04/12/2007 11:50

Howdy girlies...

Looks like everyone is busy at the moment. Hope everyone is OK.

Good news from me, I start my IUI this month. Have my first scan on Tuesday so will update you from then. Fingers crossed.

Does anyone know what their FSH level is. She said mine was 6 and as long as its under 10 they consider it to be OK.

Catch you all laters X

RahRah1 · 03/12/2007 10:32

Howdy everyone.

Got to be quick, as have hospital appointment today with the fertility clinic to start date mapping for IUI etc... YIPPPPEEE

CD2 for me I'm afraid... was quite gutted and have cried all weekend, but had bad cramping and bad hormones controlling my mind... I think another Christmas without Bertie and without moving forward is my major issue, rather than anything else. Christmas and other holidays always highlights issues more.

Thinking, perhaps you are a couple of months along? Home birth sounds good.. how much is a midwife in your area then? I know a midwife that hired her own independent midwife... must be the best way to go if the midwives are doing it too!

Better go, hope everyone else is well. I'll update you tomorrow on my hospital app...

OP posts:
minxi · 03/12/2007 10:17

Hi girls...hope everyone is well...

all fine here - not even sure which day I am on as not tracking temp or ff - well do know it is cd5 as just had to work it out then! We are moving next week which is bang on the middle of cycle but hey have had enough of stressing!! Taking my vits and just going to enjoy moving and christmas and my dc - be grateful for what I have and all that... will keep in touch regularly just going to ease off with this ttc stresses...!

Rah how are you - any good news on your fron or just good that lp is longer..

Ready I read on another thread you are feeling it this month - stay with it hun and it will happen for you and for me x

Must dash as looooaaaaddddssss to do...

Ready · 02/12/2007 22:24

Ooooh Twins??? That would be exciting

Thinking · 02/12/2007 21:48

Thanks Minxi, Ready

Gracie, My last AF was very light and only lasted just over 2 days, rather than 5 to 7 days as normal. Twins etc don't run in either family. But either way, I'll keep you updated when/if there is any news.

Where is everyones else up to ? Rah, any news ?

Gracie14 · 02/12/2007 14:01

Thinking - You might be further along than you think, or it could be twins/triplets You never know it can only be a good thing that the line is dark
