HI all sorry I have been absent it has been a busy and stressful week. I was up in Coventry delivering a training course. But the day before (wed early morn) I was clutching the toilet and vomiting everywhere. Highly unpleasant and I am only just getting my energy levels back. EWCM started with a charge on Thursday during course, which was no particularly helpful. I swear that since quitting caffine I get so much more EWCM, but it is a bit beyond a joke really!

ANYWAY I was staying in the hotel that the lovely Rah (sorry about AF hun) celebrated her wedding in. It was absolutely gorgeous and stunning and totally romantic, made even more special by knowing someone with a personal link to the place. Rah I thought of you and I think you guys should get away for a weekend break there. But specifically NOT when you are due to ovulate, and just enjoy the memories and enjoy remembering how much you love each other and that a baby is not everything your relationship is about(but I know that it is impossible to silence that voice in your head!! Mine is down to a mumble these days, but still never shuts up). You so deserve it so very much.

minxi I am in sunny Southampton. It sucks I know. They did review my file on Tuesday but I have not heard anything. they do that so that is they want to order more tests before the appointment they better use of the delay! If they find a problem we will probably go private (it is the same consultant either way)

temp wise holding steady around the 36.3 - 36.39 mark. and heading into the green zone BUT DH has been given free tix to England -Russia game next week, so that writes up off for this month!

minix sorry to hear you have had an emotional week. I always seem to get very teary when I talk to the hospital. Have you tried counselling? I have stopped seeing my counsellor now, but I found it so very helpful to have someone neutral to talk to and rant at and explore my feelings with.

Sorry I have not been about much over the last couple of weeks, not temping has really helped to take my mind off ttc

Still thinking about you all though Hope everyone is well??? Any news?

Sorry to hear the witch caught up with you Rah.

We are kinda temping but going with the flow...TBH I shouldn't really be TTC this month it wouldn't work out with stuff we have planned in real life (don't ask) but what the hell, I'm not buying condoms for one month. ;)

Oh torres, I can't believe you got your BFP a month ago, I am so out of touch! I really have been working too hard lately and I am not keeping up. Many many congratulations, I am so happy for you!

Rah bummer about AF! At least hopefully you are looking tanned and gorgeous and we are all of you anyway! Next month might just be your month. Fingers crossed. (Sorry, wasn't sure which CD you are on now so didn't update you on the list, you might want to do it)

Well, conflicting OV signs for me at the mo. Temp went up this morning but my CB Fertility Monitor is still saying "high" as opposed to "peak", so not sure whether I OV'd yesterday or will today, or possibly tomorrow... Still at least it means loads of BD'ing so DH is very happy!

Hi littlesquirt- good to see you, though would be better to see you 'on the other side' iykwim!
I got my bfp at the start of september so just before my EDD which did soften the blow.

Hi ladies- sorry to hijack your cosy thread but I wanted to get in touch with Rah.

I was on the ttc after mc thread and the legendary MrsMcJnr lent me her book 'The infertility cure' which looks at diet, lifestyle and chinese medicine. I found it really inspirational and after 4 months of acupuncture and a month of chinese herbs I was lucky enough to get a BFP. Anyway, she has asked that I send the book onto you and I am more than happy to spread the good luck.

Do you have that CAT thingy set up? If so, contact me when you get back from holiday with your address.

right i've never done this before - actively tried that is. had dd1 with no fuss, dd2 was an accident dd3 was due next week but had a heart prob and I had a termination. It took me 6 months to conceive her and I've foudn out dh has an inverted chromosone which coud mean i miscarry b4 I know I am pg.

This just all seems a bit hard now. I want to get pg asap. Any advice?

Oh Minxi - Big hugs, sweets. I know what you mean about one conversation setting off the tears. I understand you not necessarily wanting to go down the IVF route, it is a daunting prospect. Don't make any snap decisions at this point though. And don't give up the natural route

Morning all....

Storm the beaches eh Ready yes we must do that too....

Consultant yesterday was lovely said "it will happen - there is nothing wrong" no more clomid so last month at the mo.
Said come back in 6 months when we could perhaps think of iui and then maybe ivf ...said I don't think I could go for ivf as far too invasive (also lucky ebough to have 2 ds anyway but thats not the point) and then promptly got upset - cried all the way home - Dh arrived back from a meeting at exactly the same time so cried even more - he said we need to try more - he would re-arrange flights / meetings etc to accommodate me (he is away tomorrow for 3 days!!)....anyway started today cd8 onwards to get as much SEX as we can in!!!! He then said why would I not do ivf (last month said no your right too much stress etc etc - changed his mind after seeing how upset I was yesterday!!)

Feel better today just needed a good cry - sometimes you can bottle it in for months and just keep going and then one conversation can set you off....

Nappy that is a long time to wait - wheredo you live??

minxi - currently waiting for next appointment with consultant - MARCH 2008 is next available slot for a follow up!!

How did it go at the consultant appt Minxi? We got that "just keep going" after my HSG. Hope you got something different. We are splitting our time between MILs and hotelsat the moment. I am in ahotel right now Thank goodness for wifi We are not looking to buy anything for a while, the property market is a little shaky, so we are going to sit on our equity and rent for a while. As soon as DH is sorted, we'll be hunting

Ready Yes Bluewater is rather cool - haven't been in a while but have friends who live chelmsford so when visiting them usually divert! How is the MIL's are you staying long - buying somewhere else any other plans ? Hope you ok - it is tough this ttc lark and even more so when you feel a month is not going to work as well as you want due to other things going on or like staying with family!

Not much to report here. Been a hectic morning with carpenter and tree surgeons and neighbours and now am desperately trying to finish preparing this course I am delivering in Coventry at the end of the week. I am on slide 20 of 425!! If I make it to slide 250 today, then I can watch Strictly Come Dancing which I have been longing for for months!!!!! so sad I know!!!
