Ready is having difficulty in getting on the other thread due to length of it, so started a new one.

Oh thanks Ready.... your full of wisdom and knowledge...

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 23/10/2007 18:31

Sorry rah I am crap aren't I?? - your message clearly said you had read up on the clear blue monitors. Feel free to slap me for being such a nit. I think there is a thread on here with people doing a trial with them - in fact, Gilly on our "forever" thread uses one I think - ask her what she thinks

RahRah1 · 23/10/2007 18:28

Oh... hahaha Rah - you meant now - Go for it. I don't think it can hurt, the OPKs are causing you more stress than you need at times, and so I reckon something that is a little more scientific might be a good thing. What were you thinking of getting?

RahRah1 · 23/10/2007 16:52

Thanks Rainbowdays.... Yep I called them and we are starting treatment in Jan 08. I had a letter through yesterday to invite me and DH into the clinic for a HIV & Hep C/B tests, so having that done this week. I had them done when I was pregnant, but they want it again Also we have been invited to a group session with 10 other couples to ask questions and have a presentation on the treatment... should be loads of fun!
I know I will spend most of my time looking round the room thinking about everyone else that is there... I hate situations like that, I prefer something more personal. IYKWIM.

Ready - I meant I am 12 months down the line now and should I get one for the next couple of months? I would love to catch prior to going through the treatment...Did you know there is also a higher M/C rate for those that have treatment. Proving getting pregnant naturally is always the best course of action. ..OK confession... I am getting wound up about the treatment... I'm being stupid really... I should be positive about it all, least we are being given a chance, some couple never get that.

Ready - big hugs from me, horrible having cold and pmt, not fair, please get that dh of yours to be extra extra nice to you tonight, you deserve the best.

Rah - are you having your appt soon? Just been thinking of you.

hi to minxi, thinking and nappy, waves to little too.

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 23/10/2007 16:41

In 12 months Rah?? I tell you what, if we are both still trying in 12 months - we should get them together. I would be keen to try anything after 2+ years trying.

RahRah1 · 23/10/2007 16:24

ohhhhhh Ready... Hope you feel better soon. I hate colds and PMT too!

I have read up today on clear blue monitors and have noticed quite a few people that have used them have become pregnant within a few months of using them.

They not only pick up LH surge but estrogen, so you get a very clear picture of when you are fertile. I also think it is quite positive to trust something and they seem very reliable.
I'm thinking about getting one, 12 months down the line... what do you think? As I still get confused as to when I'm ovulating or not. I seem to only really know after I get my period as then I can count 12 days backwards... lol (weeps in despair)

Hey ladies... suffering with blocked ears and my November cold is clearly coming early. Tut.

Very pre-menstrual too

PMSL at romance not being dead, Minxi

minxi · 23/10/2007 11:18

Thinking - it is so annoying when dh's mess around just at that 'right time' in your cycle!! if it hasn't happened this month - act casual from around day 10 and misread the dates to him that way he wont know what is going on... luckily my dh is being quite accommodating to dates, even asking me to email them so he can juggle meetings so he can at least be in the country - who says romance was dead?!!

Thinking · 23/10/2007 10:32

Got my cross lines not that it means anything on this BFN cycle. But I got ovulation pains and I am confidant that I did ovulate for the first time this month. So next month (If DH doesn't run)can actually be a real attempt at TTC, at last I have waited so long just to have a chance at catching that egg.

RahRah1 · 23/10/2007 10:26

Your very right Minxi... I will carry on

Wow your very positive today....lets hope we get some of those BFP's this month... its got to happen some time!

come on everyone lets all have PMA - it is going to happen!!! this time next week wont be feeling soo positive so best make the most of it

Ready - how are you feeling ?

RahRah1 · 22/10/2007 20:00

Thanks guys. I went out at the weekend and drank heavily on Fri and Sat... its all gone now .... Must be dehydration!

So there is a lesson for me - no EWCM if you drink too much!

I hope everyone is OK...

Ready how's the 2ww... you OK? Will email you ASAP... been so hectic over the last few days.

I'm off to watch Enders and think of a spooky name... how sad am I????

This I have updated these right!

Yes 6DPO already so AF due on Friday.

Got to admit cycle is getting very regular but very wrong. Last 2 months had ov pains 4 days b4 ovulation.

Rah I get EW well b4 OV, but it has become more and for longer since reducing my caffine intake. Any correlation?

minxi · 22/10/2007 13:12

Hi girls...forgot to take temp this morning as was away even so ff has put me down as ovulating cd14 ...so am 7 days past ov already?! and like you Ready have spots - never get spots oh well bound to be pre menstrual ones!

Rah good for you with the extra ew go for it girl!

Everyone else hope you are all ok...

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 21/10/2007 22:59

Hey Rah - I think 4-6 days of EWCM is a good thing. A good few days of it is surely a sign of fertility. It sounds suspiciously to me like the herbs are getting your juices flowing - and possibly regulating your cycle, you might ovulate on a textbook CD14 - and have a 28 day cycle!!! Just go with it chick, plenty of bedroom action and see what happens

Big wave to everyone else... hope all is well.

Very pessimistic here I think that I can feel the rumblings

Thinking · 21/10/2007 12:12

Rah, Maybe you are going to ovulate early this month ?

We are on track for AF next weekend, so I'm not being to fussy about temping.

RahRah1 · 20/10/2007 15:26

Howdy girls...

This is so weird but started to get EWCM already this month???? How strange? Its only CD10.... Earliest I ever ovulate is CD16, so can I have EWCM for 4-6 days? Last month I got it early as well but it dried up on CD14 and then I ovulated on CD16, it just does not make sense. Any Ideas?? When do you think I'm at my most fertile?

Do you think it might be the herbies?

Hi girls...
Ready of course I didn't mind asking !

Nappy Thank you but I have no idea - just going to go with the flow from now on....

NappyValley · 19/10/2007 21:57

minix i get odd temp days that just don't fit in. Wait until tomorrow and try and get a final fling out of DH.
Got everything crossed for you.

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2007 20:47

clearly not with it

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2007 20:46

Oooh, well in that case Minxi - fingers and toes crossed (when are they not!!)
Me?? Well, this month I have veered wildly between highly optimistic, so much that I allowed myself to daydream about how I would tell friends and family. And other days I feel so utterly pessimistic, thinking it is never going to happen, that I am destined to a life being "Aunty Ready" to all my friends children. Sigh.

minxi · 19/10/2007 17:32

readytricktreat yes it is a bit late but when you take the clomid you usually ovulate about 9 - 14 days (depending on usual cycle - mine has been about 9 days later) after the last one... well I forgot to take them days 2 - 6 so ended up taking them later and last one was on day 8...so I'm presuming around 16 / 17 to ovulate which is NOW!!!! although dh is ill, despite him being ill have managed to cover a few days
What about you - are you hopeful this month?
If it doesn't happen this month the termometer is going in the bin!

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2007 12:14

Not daft at all - I was just being a dunce - I have had a dip a day or 2 before I ovulate, so I would suggest that it is quite possible you are about to ovulate. I think it relates to the changes in hormones, but don't quote me on it Is it a bit late for you this month Minxi?
