Feb Bus Pt 2

Thanks everyone at least this time I was in my first month of TTC unlike the 5 months the time before for me to get BFP but I'm 35 already and feel like I'm running out of time if this one isn't ok!!
@Dreamer022020 -I get vivid dreams and feel emotional when I'm pregnant but doesn't usually start until symptoms start at about 5 weeks for me xx

@professorastrocat when are you due AF?
Haha I’m the same. I’ve stopped trying to symptom spot now. Just given up for this month.

@Dreamer022020 (apt name!) and @MrsTwentyEight I've also had vivid and strange dreams but can't be confident that's not just normal for me!

@MummyBearBoo congratulations on your pregnancy and I've every crossed for you for the tests.

AF was due on wed/ thurs and no sign of her yet...so I’m late but BFNs all the way 😭 How about you? When’s yours due again?

@MrsTwentyEight It's good to know I'm not the only one! They may be standard but when is AF due? You never know! The most vivid one so far for me was that I had a baby girl... But DH wouldn't tell me what she was called and I was so angry! Brains are so odd.

@Dreamer022020 I have been having VERY vivid dreams too! But at 15DPO and BFN...I’m probably just having a standard dream 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

@MummyBearBoo I hope this is it. So sorry to hear of the journey you’ve had to go through. Here is me complaining after one attempt at TTC and I look at your journey and feel so selfish for even complaining! I really hope the tests are fine and you go ahead to have a healthy baby. Got everything crossed for you. We are all here if you need to chat / vent. It’s the beauty of an anonymous platform!

Sorry to hear of AF/BFN @Hatepickinganame and @Bumblebee413, hope you're okay. My motto is 'keep going' which I am preparing to tell myself when I test...

Felt like absolute crap the past few days. I do normally get a bit of that around AF and the week before, not sure if I normally get it this early on though. Been so moody and emotional and I'm now getting really werid dreams every night which I remember when I wake up. Anyone else getting this/had this before getting a BFP?

Is chromosome 19 called myotonic dystrophy abut like a slower acting MS -I have it but didn't start with symptoms til my teens - my legs are weak and my stomach muscles don't work properly but it gets worse by generation so if I have a baby with it they would be symptomatic from day dot and if they survive to full term in many their intercostal muscles don't allow them to breath so they don't survive long if they do manage to get past this they are severely physically and mentally disabled and would be in for as long as they live. I would feel selfish being a baby into the world to suffer! Xx

What is the genetic abnormality?

So I caved I'm 17dpo and I am sick of wandering if my AF is gonna show up now I'm 3 days late plus I really want wine with dinner but won't I am pregnant so I decided to test! Now I've got the nail biting 9 week wait for the genetic test to see if the baby is healthy or not if not I will have to have a 3rd TFMR coz the baby would suffer and they probably wouldn't makes it past 5 weeks when it had to breathe on its own if I proceed 😢

Hey all! So much to catch up on! Had a quick look back and sorry about the BFNs and AF☹️

Femometer confirmed today I ovulated 3 days ago!! So so early for me on CD12 so I am 3DPO! Nice surprise as it will make the TWW shorter but just hope we caught it as we only DTD twice!

It isn't necessary a case of not ovulating... You probably did ovulate but even with everything in place and seemingly perfect alignment of egg & sperm, pregnancy only occurs like 30% of the time...

The fact that people get pregnant so easily is a shock really...

Ive been catching up and so many of us are so hard on ourselves for these outcomes. We're not being fair to ourselves. Let's be kinder to ourselves, our bodies are doing their thing and they will get there... Its nothing we're doing wrong it's just the way it goes sometimes.

So although it's hard to be patient (I'm in the tww as we speak and broody as hell so I get it 110%) we have to try to be kinder to ourselves at least.

We've got this girls... Our time will come and it will be even more exciting as a result of all the waiting! Xxx

@MummyBearBoo Depends on how sensitive your test is? If you can manage to do a 4 hour hold before testing, it might show anyway (depending on how many dpo you are?).
Or you could just wait. 😂

I know I'm going to cave before tomorrow I feel too nervous but it won't be FMU if I do it today will it still work unless af comes today then I won't need to rest!!

Hello new levels of crazy

Still hanging around like a bad smell. I have long cycles so it feels like forever before it gets exciting again. Cd 16 for me, due to ovulate on valentines and test at the end of the month. However plan to start dtd and opk’s from tomorrow.
Today I am very hung over and have in laws visiting 🤦🏼‍♀️. It is a not a day for doing a bd!

@paintfairy thank you! It’s absolutely crazy, isn’t it. My CB digital had a static smiley on the 21st January. I suppose even static only means LH surged ....so likely to ovulate soon, cannot confirm actual ovulation. Ahh who knows. Like you say, TTC must drive the body crazy! Like since I first had AF....it’s never had the possibility of a possible “fertilisation” around my fertile window so now maybe it’s confused.com haha
