Not sure if someone made a second thread, i couldnt seem to find one. Went to post on the old one and it had been closed! Will tag who i can remember off the top of my head, please tag the others or add me to the new one if there's a thread i missed 😊

@notetaker yeah im in the same mindset, especially after af being so late this time. It made me realise how much i wanted a positive. Feel better after talking to oh about it too.

@Anon87 ooh how long did they take to arrive? Might get some ordered today!

Massive congrats @professorastrocat -I'm gonna stick around a bit if that's ok I've gotta test again on Sunday to make sure the bit of bleeding didn't affect anything improper framed coz last time I had bleeding it ended up being a chemical but it was only one day this time!! Good luck to you all for this month or next xx

I use one step. Fiver for 40 on eBay with 10 HCG tests too. FEM app told me to start testing from CD7 and I'm on CD10 today. All negative but I don't mind for the price of them 😆

I'm still amazed by this BBT tracking. Massive drop whilst on my period, spikes back up at the end and now a steady decline in fertile window. I am right in thinking it shoots up straight after ovulation?

@calimommy Smep tells you to do it 3 days running from peak, plus miss a day and go again? Maybe that's in case you don't actually ovulate when you think you will. Dunno?

@Hatepickinganame if you get cheap ones then it doesn't matter. I use one steps. I randomly do them for fun. 😂 Some people seem to get surges on and off throughout anyway. I don't. I started day 8 with them and I think today is my peak reading (day 11). Nothing really started showing until yesterday.
If you use the clear blue ones it tells you what day to start according to cycle. Said day 7 for me (27 day cycle). I got my solid face on that today. Its been flashing since day 8.

@paintfairy DTD after O day won't help with pregnancy, but it's always fun anyway x

Talking about DHs, mine has said this is the last cycle he wants to try and after this he will book himself in for a snip! So the pressure is definitely on for this cycle. In some ways I feel very relaxed because I know we did all we could do so it is what is it. And I'll either have a boozy summer holiday or I won't 😂

@professorastrocat thats a little reassuring, i have already been looking at mine and his shifts and with ither factors my predicted ov day is defo out this cycle 😂 but we should be ok the day before. Cd2 and im already planning my month lol im going to invest in some opks i think, when is the best time to start using them? My app predicts cd16 as ov day.

@professorastrocat Last month we DTD up to and including ovulation day. But not after. This time I'm planning on going beyond that. It's so hard to know what to do!

Like- why didn't it work! Grrr.

@paintfairy I have short cycles and had a feeling that I would ov quite soon after the surge so only did it the day first got static smiley. That may be total nonsense though.

So (second) flashy smiley Monday morning, static smiley Monday pm, dtd mon eve. Would have done tues too but didn't.

@Adrianoska 2nd cycle, used opks to check ovulation. I think I owe a massive thanks to whoever here gave us a heads up about using opk again in an afternoon after a few days of a flashing smiley on a morning, as I got a static then and otherwise may have mistimed when the very short surge window was. Of all things I think really timing is the only thing we can really have any degree of control over. We had dtd 5, 3 and 1 day before ov day. I don't eat particularly well (need to start now) though of course healthy eating is a good idea regarding anything!

@Dreamer022020 I've been waking up the last 3/4 days insanely dry mouth but I'm not sure if it's the back end of my congestion I've had.

Lovely to catch up on the thread after a couple of days in work sorry to see floooy has popped in.

I'm not sure what I'm doing at the moment, according to my ovia app I'm on CD38.

Had really strong Ovulation test 8/9 DTD 8,9 and 10th... not really sure what happens next 🙈

Had noticeable aches on my right lower pelvis... slight lower back pain 🤷🏻‍♀️ what do do next??? xxx

Can i join? Im 31 (32 next week) and currently TTC baby #1. I'm on my 4th cycle (i had really long ones since coming off the pill in May 2019) and am currently 4DPO of what appears to be a 31day cycle!

Due to test next Saturday if AF hasn't shown by then!

@hatepickinganame I'm glad your OH is on board to trying properly! Mine isn't yet - he's currently just happy to take things as they come and I'm finding it very frustrating as I know this will take ages this way. He is always too tired for the deed so we only average once a week... Eg today is my OD and we DTD on Sunday and that's it. Couldn't manage to convince him to get in the mood Monday or Tuesday and tonight/tomorrow we've got dinner plans so I know he'll be knackered...

I wouldn't have been bothered about being late, I'm the boss lol but he's not and has a commute so I'll let him off. This time.....
