Due to ovulate around the 10th so my TWW will start around the 11th

@Donnat89 thank you, I suppose they are likely much of a muchness. But I know my one is sort of old so I feel an upgrade might be a good idea. I have no idea when I'm ovulating, I was going on last month after I came of the pill I had a 32day cycle.
I will try not to test to Saturday or Sunday again. We are meeting up with our friends and there children on Sunday so there will be wine lol
I have no symptoms now tho, so not expecting much xx

Bic501 · 27/02/2020 08:01

Oh, got it lol but it's saying beginners can't post photos, they must have a timeframe of some sort. Will post it when I can.
Ok will take a wee look at that one, then thanks @LRHR
Love seeing all the BFP's, 🤞🏻 its all of us soon x

Donnat89 · 27/02/2020 08:01

@Bic501 I use flo and like @LRHR you can track everything by within the app and it does tell you what day you are likely to ovulate xxxx

Donnat89 · 27/02/2020 07:59

@LRHR no I don't use FRER all the time but I do like to have ICS and wondered if there was any That people recommend.

I plan on doing the same this month or using FRER if I get a positive IC .

LRHR · 27/02/2020 07:55

@Bic501 yeah you need the app.
I use femometer I find it really good cause you can track absolutely everything xx

Bic501 · 27/02/2020 07:54

Thanks @LRHR I’m gonna download the app coz I can’t see a paper clip on my phone browser 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️😂

What apps would everyone recommend to use to track? I have an old period tracker one but I’m pretty sure there must be better ones about now.

LRHR · 27/02/2020 07:51

Congratulations to everyone with BFP, it's such a strange feeling seeing the positives because it's such a mixture of emotions, I'm so happy for you but gutted at the same time it's not me.

I truly wish you all the best of luck, safe, healthy pregnancies and a beautiful little bundles of love ❤️❤️❤️

LRHR · 27/02/2020 07:48

@Donnat89 @Bic501 i wouldn't use frer all the time cause if you anything like me you will need 4 a day 🤦🏼‍♀️
Maybe use the cheapy ones if you're desperate to test and save the frer until you've definitely missed AF (that's what I'm doing)

To add a photo click on the paper clip 😘 xxx

Donnat89 · 27/02/2020 07:43

@LRHR Awww lovely photo of you both xxx

@LRHR SO sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I have had 2 and my pregnancy with DS1 was a twin pregnancy and I lost one and it’s hard x
I used an IC this am and it was BFN, I’m only 10dpo so didn’t expect anything else. I’m too tight to test with my frer yet. I have no symptoms so maybe I will just wait to Monday to af due (I think) I didn’t use ov sticks and maybe I ovulated later than I thought.
@Donnat89 I use the one step ones bought of eBay usually or b&ms finest
I have just re-joined mums net so I don’t think I can post photos yet, or maybe I just don’t know how 🤔

Donnat89 · 27/02/2020 07:41

@LRHR I only use my app usually and track CM . but think it might be worth tracking BBT too just as a guide . I use ones of amazon one step strips although the reviews on them are not very good so wondering if there is something else to use or do I not bother with them and just use FRER ? X

OP posts:
LRHR · 27/02/2020 07:37

This is me and my husband ❤️
I'm not using anything to track Ovulation other than an app and for testing I use the cheap ones off EBay 20 for about £4 xx

Donnat89 · 27/02/2020 07:27

@LRHR LOL at that picture .... I haven't ordered any more tests will do that when I'm in the TWW will give me something to do . Out of curiosity apart from FRER does anyone else order IC's If so what ones do you use ? Xxx

@LRHR it's horrendous ! I hate it .

I also have 2 children from a previous relationship DD is 10 and DS is 7 , I fell with them within 6 months so trying so never did i think it would take so long . I am 31 now (only just) but still I don't want it to take much longer !

I'm happy to share a photo of me (this is my and the OH) on NYE .

I have remembered to take my BBT this morning so woo hoo ! Lol let's hope I carry on remembering !

@Bic501 it doesn't get any easier, I had the MC removed 2nd Jan so we're at a similar stage of TTC. I'm 29 with 2 age 12 and 8 so I've got quite a gap.
The TWW is horrendous @Donnat89 and I really feel for you trying for so long.
I was lucky with my 2 and came off the pill and conceived the following month so in my head the same would happen this time but unfortunately not.

Had to share this pic and I'm sure we can all relate 🤦🏼‍♀️

It's strange how speaking to people in the same situation who you don't have a clue who each other are can really help.
I know this is your thread Donna but just an idea, what if we all share a pic of ourselves and abit about us so we know who we're talking too?? xxx

Hi Everyone, was wondering if I could join!
I’m 33, have 3 kids aged 5,6 and 8.
Have decided we would like a 4th.
Came off my pill in January after being on it since DS2 was born in 2014. Had a 32 day cycle. Af came on Jan 31st, so think that makes me 10po (27th feb, it’s 1am, I should be sleeping but I’m reading all your posts 🙈)
Had really sore boobs last mon-Sat, I had thought Monday (17th) should be ovulation so the fact they were sore longer sort of threw me off As I don’t usually have that but then I was on the pill but I don’t remember that being a Ov symptom for me. Have been having cramps but boobs no longer tingly so I’m thinking it’s not good news.
Bought frer today. Really want to test in the morning but I’m thinking it’s prob too early and I should just hold out 🤔
This brings me back to ttc DS1, thought I’d be more chilled, but here I am...counting the hours wondering if u should poas

Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 21:21

@Littlepeas2 I've heard good things about them so really it's up to you . I'm gonna try track BBT this cycle see if it helps . If I can I want to stay away from OPKS as it just all seems a bit much and too planned and clinical . Will see how I get on this month and go from there . Xxx

OP posts:
Littlepeas2 · 26/02/2020 20:42

Thank you @Donnat89 I might get the clear blue digital one?! X

Sammyclaire22 · 26/02/2020 12:44

Thanks @lexi2BB I'm about 12dpo x
I recommend tracking one way or another- after the last 5 cycles I've realised I ovulate a lot earlier than I thought (about cd10) so in hindsight it might be why it took so long the first time if we were missing it. I find opks quite stressful tbh- I was never sure if mine were high or peaks (I had a lot of high level ones over the whole month) so just went with cm as it fitted my usual pattern and bbt this month. Plus poas every day then made me want to use a pg test earlier which is never good for the obsessing.

Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 12:16

Me and OH do every 2 days ... he has a low count so this was recommend the best way for us to give his sperm more time to mature . We are also gonna try some new supplements this month too . Xx

OP posts:
Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 12:14

@Littlepeas2 I find the TWW wait horrendous. I hate it . Waiting for ovulation isn't too bad as least you know at that stage you are defo not pregnant . It's the unknowing I can't stand and the expecting them worse but hoping for the best which is painful .

I don't use OPKS either I find It is all becoming a bit to clinical with tracking dates , Cm and all the rest without adding that in .

I may try to track my BBT again but I always forget and I have a thermometer next to my bed 😩 xxx

OP posts:
Juno231 · 26/02/2020 12:09

@littlepeas2 if you don't use temp to track either then I'd definitely recommend using OPKs to make sure you're ovulating regularly in the first place but also to time your DTD accordingly - unless of course you're already doing it every other day anyway? You can certainly continue without it but run the risk of it taking longer by unknowingly missing your most fertile days.

Littlepeas2 · 26/02/2020 12:04

@Donnat89 not sure what’s worse, the wait for ovulation which seems to take forever or the tww! I’ve not use OPKs before and I’m wondering if it’s worth my using them. Would you recommend? X

Charlottethevet · 26/02/2020 11:56

between 12-15 days I think 😊 its been a bit of a funny month tbh , so I'm not entirely sure haha

LexieBB · 26/02/2020 11:54

@Charlottethevet @Sammyclaire22 I see the lines!! How many dpo are you? ☺️
