Hi all ,

I want some company .... currently in my 10 month of TTC after a miscarriage last March at 14 weeks

Due to ovulate around the 10th so my TWW will start around the 11th

Anyone else in the same boat ? Let's keep each other company

Ps I need support not to test early as drove myself mad last month !

Xxx

Everyone's fertile window seems to come round fast! I wish my cycles were a bit shorter. I'm waiting for AF (due on friday).

@Juno231 I also avoid caffeine in tww. Booze not so much...! Not that I drink a lot, but I'll be having a glass of something most nights this week since we're stuck inside.

Sammyclaire22 · 06/04/2020 09:26

Hi all cd7 so in my fw now! Trying to catch up on all the changes in work over the last week I've been off. Lost my glasses too- made me realise how much we rely on little things every day just to do our jobs.

Juno231 · 05/04/2020 14:03

Well I'm on to the TWW then I think! Will do another OPK in a couple of hours to confirm the peak is over but otherwise I think we've done everything we were supposed to do. Managed to DTD three times during FW including the day of and the day before OD so should be covered 🙏

Had wine last night for the last time before AF shows and will be cutting down on caffeine as well. TWW during lockdown will be looong.

@Ivoryjane I know what you mean - my OH listens to my occasional TTC natter but with a bemused smile as if I'm crazy and he understands zero of it!

Ivoryjane · 05/04/2020 10:26

Ah best of luck everyone waiting & trying. App telling me ovulation is next Sat so heading into FW. I'm trying to stay as calm and positive as I can..so happy to be on here to share with you all.Smile My husband is great but doesn't get all these dates and apps and stuff. Doesn't want me stressing. BlushI agree Skyla01 wfm and lockdown don't make all this waiting any easier.

Skyla01 · 05/04/2020 08:14

Morning, how is everybody getting on?

I'm 7/8dpo. Just waiting.... I'm feeling neutral so far- not sure this is our month / not sure it isn't! I don't think lockdown is helping at all, not much to distract me!

Sammyclaire22 · 04/04/2020 19:56

Ahh hi @bic501!
Good luck @juno231, sending lots of baby dust- really hope this month is a lucky one for us all!

Adrianoska · 04/04/2020 19:00

🎉🎉🎉🎉Go go go @Juno231 🎶

Skyla01 · 04/04/2020 18:28

@Juno231 exciting! It's good to know when to get down to business. I do miss the accuracy of using opks. We try and DTD at least every other day for about 8 days over fertile window, to try and make sure we don't miss it.

Bic501 · 04/04/2020 16:15

@Sammyclaire22 think we are cycle buddies this month! I'm CD 5 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
My cycles seem to be about 30 days so bit longer than average.

Hope everyone is well, staying home were poss and staying safe xx

Juno231 · 04/04/2020 15:24

Woop got a super strong peak today! It's brought forward OD by two days per the app and three days per my expectations! DTD today and Thurs and will aim to go again tomorrow and Monday morning to cover all our bases. Feeling positive this month!

Just goes to show how important tracking is! And I have no CM to speak of so I'm glad I opted to try pre-seed this month.

Skyla01 · 03/04/2020 17:51

@Juno231 good luck this fw! Hopefully lots of spare time for dtd.

@Littlepeas2 I have never used a frer. Do you think it might be positive?

Littlepeas2 · 03/04/2020 16:48

Yay! At least you are back in fertile week!! I know what you mean though.. being at home means it’s in your mind more doesn’t it!

Juno231 · 03/04/2020 15:09

Just by way of an update - firmly in FW now with ovulation due Mon/Tues per my two apps. OPKs still very faint but I'm carrying on with DTD anyway. Just wish I could fast forward to the 22nd to see if AF shows or not! This process is very slow and boring when wfh and having nothing else to occupy my mind with!

Ivoryjane · 02/04/2020 21:37

@Skyla01 thanks so much Smile

I used to have a set 28 day cycle but not so much anymore. But its still not irregular either. I did have a crazy one in Feb, cycle only lasted 21 days so I'm not sure if I was right with my ovulation dates so I'm blaming that for being on AF now! Grin But heading into FW next week just going to DTD every second day or so!
Wishing everyone well!

Skyla01 · 02/04/2020 21:30

@Sarahjh86 maybe you should just wait it out? An odd randomly long cycle is annoying but there could be lots of reasons for it. Perhaps do another pregnancy test in a week if no period?

Hi @Ivoryjane. An app is a good place to start tracking things. Temping or opk will give you more info, but if you have a regular cycle then lots of DTD during your fertile week should do the trick!

Ivoryjane · 02/04/2020 21:07

Hi ladies, can I join on this bandwagon please? Smile

I am also TTC and am currently waiting patiently for AF to finish up so I can begin again! We are heading into 3rd cycle of trying for baby number 2. Going on my app I am due to ovulate on 11th so FW next week. I have never used any other method of tracking it so was happy to read all the other ways you ladies are tracking it. I will see how I go this month. Thanks!

Sammyclaire22 · 02/04/2020 20:53

@littlepeas2 frer can sometimes show an evaporation line and in certain lights you can see the dip. The main thing is to look for colour as evaps are just grey. I've been fooled by them before now!

Sarahjh86 · 02/04/2020 20:40

@lrhr I'm 9 days late. Waiting for bloods to come bsck now 😢 I've sort of lost all hope but in usually regular x

LRHR · 02/04/2020 20:33

@Sarahjh86 if you're 9days late and still getting negatives id maybe speak to your doctor if you are normally regular.
If you mean 9dpo you may not have had implantation yet xx

Sarahjh86 · 02/04/2020 19:28

OK thank yiu for replying. When would you recommend testing? Xc

Littlepeas2 · 02/04/2020 19:27

Ladies... I’ve never done a FRER before.. if it’s negative is it pure white? Or can you always see the faintest hint of a line where the positive line would be?

Littlepeas2 · 02/04/2020 19:27

9dpo is still early. You might not have had implantation yet :)

Sarahjh86 · 02/04/2020 19:15

Sorry to jump on not sure if it's OK but. I'm 9 days late and keep getting negative tests. Is it likely for me to be getting a positive now or should I jusy write it off and wait for my period.

I'm usually pretty regular x

Skyla01 · 02/04/2020 18:50

@Sammyclaire22 sorry this cycle didn't work out, but as you say on to the next one! Not symptom spotting can be really hard, even if they can all be explained by pms anyway. It's difficult not to get hopes up. I'll see how I get on with that next week...!

Sammyclaire22 · 02/04/2020 17:41

Hey so all those symptoms meant nothing, AF arrived right on cue. I really must learn to only go off my bbt and ignore everything else! CD3 now so not long until FW and we start it all again.

Good luck for those of you still to test this month!
