hi valleygirl - welcome.

another of my friends has just phoned to tell me she's pg - very pleased for her but you know too

Twiga · 05/10/2004 17:51

Hi valleygirl, sorry about af, all the best for this coming cycle ++++++

Twiga · 05/10/2004 17:49

Wow, this thread is expanding rapidly, taken forever to catch up - you guys don't half talk ! Hope you're all well and {{{hugs}}} all round x

Cobweb, was wandering what had happened to you, glad the Dr was helpful, hope you're feeling a bit more relaxed - very excited for you - keep us posted x

Welcome to Jeddah and Lipstickmum +++++*+

Hey Miaou, hows things on Muck? Weather still hopeless here. Shame about the helicopter - could have been fun x

{{{hugs}}} Minnie1 and BeckiF, hope you both feel brighter soon - take it easy and go for Sweetheart's cure all of Chocolate cake . BeckiF, spill the goss on your party, I think most of us are hopeless romantics and are dying to know the chat - glad it was a great party!

Runtus, sorry about your BFN x

Sweetheart, only just seen the thread from yesterday - ouch ! - hope you are ok and don't even think about disappearing on us, we think you're fab!

Mudda, check out medisave for cheap tests - medisave

Pamina3, I've replied to you on the tcc after mc thread - af was ten days late in the end and it was all very annoying. The optimist in me has bounced back just fine and am hopeful as ever for this cycle. Hope it all works out for you and that af doesn't keep you waiting much longer - might be worth re-testing just in case. LOL {{{hugs}}} x

Sorry this is such a long post, catch ya later x

LipstickMum · 05/10/2004 17:47

Hi ValleyGirl, you've been lurking a bit like me It's nice to be 'out of the closet' though! Sorry to hear AF arrived today. I am ttc my second, in the early months still, trying to be hopeful and not obsess, easier said than done. Am CD19, so soon I shall be beginning that real waiting part of the month.

valleygirl · 05/10/2004 17:27

i've been lurking for quite some time on these TTC posts and have never really joined in, apart from odd random question here and there, but as AF appearded today on CD29 and i am feeling surprisingly sad, i guess it means that i have progressed from "if it happens it happens" to really wanting to get pregnant!
turned to opk kits first time this month - had positive lines for 3 days running, and egg white CM, but temp rise didn't happen for another 6 days. this doesn't seem right to me?
anyway after 11 months of unprotected sex i'm beginning to get a bit worried!
on to the next month!

Hulababy · 05/10/2004 17:23

Hi all; CD28. Have had AF syptoms on and off - back ache and tummy cramps but not here yet. Suspect it will be due in a day or two though. Still not sure yet. At least next month I will have a rought idea how long my cycle is!

Sweetheart - sorry to bring that thread back to your attention this morning; didn't mean for it to upset you. Just wanted you to know that most of you support you on MN; not everyone coomes onto have a go at people. Hope you are feeling better now.

Hi Lipstickmum and welcome to the TTc threads; good luck.

Glad to hear your party went well Becki

Sorry about BFN runtus

Blimey this thread moves fast - 182 posts before I even see it! CD 6 here, and I can't find my thermometer so I haven't been keeping my TCOYF chart yet this month. We're away the next two weekends and I'm hoping that will give us plenty of chances for productive BD'ing. Good luck everyone on this thread.

Tessiebear · 05/10/2004 14:34

Mudda - GOOD LUCK!
Minnie - LOL at your boss lightening your work load!
Mrs Flowerpot - I too have got my token AF Zit - but i still tested!!!!!
Mrs Wednesday - glad i am not the only one
Lipstick - Welcome!!!
Everyone else - hope you are all ok
Sweetheart - dont ever think of not coming back because of those malicious comments - You have come out of this with your head held HIGH

sweetheart · 05/10/2004 13:58

BeckyF - Try the beechams for flu tablets - I had that bug last week (sods law on my 2 days off!!!!) They did the trick for me.

Minnie1 - lol I'd love to see your bosses face if you made that suggestion to him. I dread to think what my boss would say if he only knew how much he pays me to chat on MN!!!! Also thanks for your kind words re the christmas thing.

That also goes to Mrsflowerpot and krocket. This morning I felt like leaving and not coming back but today has shown me what I'd be missing out on if I let them get to me so thank you all so very much.

Mudda - good luck tonight - perhaps you should go for a walk or something - to stop the test talking to you from the draw!!!

MINNIE1 · 05/10/2004 13:48

God bless medisave!! ordered 20 pg test last thurs/fri and have arrived today (what a service) now all i need to do is get pg.. I should have bough the OV test but thats me jumping the gun again!!!
beckif, I was thinking of you today good to hear from you.. Have that flu and its not nice!!! sitting in work with alot of cloths on to keep warm.. O there all having a good laugh at me here now!!!! Hope you have a lovely time on hols .....

krocket · 05/10/2004 13:20

my 40 OV tests from medisave turned up today. CD21 today so waiting for AF then start the testing (I know I'm not pg as lots of symptoms - as usual!)

runtus · 05/10/2004 13:16

Glad the party was a success BeckiF, heres hoping you are pg not coming down with flu!

krocket · 05/10/2004 13:15

sweetheart - I'm sorry but I only just read that thread and although my sensible half told me to leave it alone I just couldn't help myself and had to post. Nasty, spiteful, thoughtless. I was shocked at the casual way it turned into a little playground mocking session. Poor you. I too am shocked at certain mumsnetters. Right behind you girl!

BeckiF · 05/10/2004 13:14

Hi ladies - here we are then on TTC11, and I wonder if I will ever graduate at all

Had a great party at the weekend, absolutley fabulous, but now on CD13 I feel like I've picked up the flu/chesty/sicky bug that's going around ... Going on hols on Friday (I hope) and will test when I get back just to make sire, although I'm expecting the usual 12 month cycle.

mrsflowerpot · 05/10/2004 13:08

Sweetheart - another one who was boiling on your behalf. I didn't post on the other thread (and won't now) as by the time I saw it last night I thought it best to let it die and not bump it back up. Good for you for standing up for yourself and I hope you can forget about it as the lot of silly bitchy women regressing to the behaviour of the playground that it was. I'm glad you're staying with us.

Anyway. Good luck tonight Mudda! Hope we don't hear from you iykwim! And Tessiebear, I know just what you mean, CD27 here (out of 30-32) and there is a test burning a hole in a drawer downstairs, even though I woke up with my giveaway pre-period spot this morning. I will not test until Saturday, I will not test until Saturday...

MINNIE1 · 05/10/2004 12:59

muddaofsuburbia, Good luck will check at 6

MINNIE1 · 05/10/2004 12:58

sweetheart,
Sorry for bringing this up again but i was deeply angry about what was said on the other thread (christmas present one) I hope you hold you head high.. and if you want to get a balloon ride for YOUR daughter you do that.. Please do not listen to the remarks as your better then that..
Just want to give my support..

Welcome to all the new arrivals.. >x>X>X>X sending baby you way to all..

Sorry i can't seem to keep up with this thread!! i'll have a talk with the boss (lighten the work load so i can spend more time on here)

Hope you all are having a good day

LipstickMum · 05/10/2004 12:52

Good luck mudda crosses fingers

runtus · 05/10/2004 12:49

Good luck Mudda!

muddaofsuburbia · 05/10/2004 12:47

Thanks for the tip about Wilko Runtus. I'm afraid I was too impatient and popped into Boots and bought their own brand.

THe pack is unopened and waiting for dh to come home to be a witness 5 hours to wait...not sure if I can!

But then I keep remembering i should keep it all quiet until family etc know (lurkers have ears ) So if you don't hear from me on here after 6pm I guess you can draw your own conclusions!

LipstickMum · 05/10/2004 12:28

Thanks for the nice welcome, I think I am up to speed now on all the acroynms see you all later.

runtus · 05/10/2004 11:06

Never too late for a cream cake!

sweetheart · 05/10/2004 11:05

busicuits that's not fair - although my colleague did ask me if I wanted a cream cake when i was crying this morning. Perhaps it's not too late to say no

runtus · 05/10/2004 10:59

I'm sticking to Wilkinsons from now on, blatantly the same tests but just in another packet and half the price.

I was going to have soup but it seems far too dull and some bright spark has just arrived with a whole box of biscuits!
