BanoFfee Pie

LipstickMum · 06/10/2004 09:42

Yes, I am longing to know too, although she did say that she would like to let family know first. I hope it was good news for her!

mrsflowerpot · 06/10/2004 09:42

Morning everyone.

You're right - no news from Mudda last night - are you there???

Hope everyone is well this morning.

CD28, HPT still in its box in the drawer, and it's staying there until the weekend, if I get that far as I'm starting to feel a bit AF-y.

Tessiebear · 06/10/2004 09:37

MUDDA OF S -Did you test?????? (I logged in loads after 6pm last night) Does your silence speak volumes - just give us a yes of a no!

sweetheart · 06/10/2004 09:37

valleygirl,

What is the oxford fertility study??? Are they sill looking for people??

Tessiebear · 06/10/2004 09:35

Good luck Geordie and Valleygirl!

Tessiebear · 06/10/2004 09:33

Tania - afraid i cant help with you OV predictor query - although i am sure i got OV cramps this month (knowing me i probably imagined it!)

Hula - i know what you mean about wishing AF would hurry up - at least then we would be able to plan for next month!

Well after a day of being fed up and moody yesterday i confessed to DH that i had done a HPT. He is clueless about the whole proceedure and i didnt tell him that i had done it way too early to get a positive anyway! He has just pressumed that i am not pg this month (his words were "Oh, that means loads of rumpy pumpy again next month then [excited face icon]"
Woke at 3AM this morning and spent the following 4 hours feeling sick and not getting back to sleep properly. I was convinced that i had a "bug" coming but since i have been up and eaten something the sickness has gone! The last time i experienced anything like this was when i was pg with DS2 (but that was when i started getting the sickness at about 6 weeks)

valleygirl · 06/10/2004 09:33

thanks to the person who mentioned the medisave website - i bought 40 opk tests yesterday for £35! i tried to get on the oxford fertility study which was mentioned on another thread but was turned down because my dp had a vasectomy reversal - so these cheap opk sticks are the next best thing.
trying for baby number 1, though have 2 step sons who are 7 and 4, so have a pretty good inkling of what's to come, though babies a total mystery!!
it's very exciting though, finally getting to this stage in my life!
good luck to everyone else, and thanks for the welcome onto TTC!!

Geordie · 06/10/2004 09:29

morning everyone,

cd 30 today and no af signs yet but my temp has dropped (still over the coverline but only just). So I think it's only a matter of time now waiting for af to show up
we'll it was only my first cycle- just feeling really worried already as I don't want dh and i to go through the awful 2 years we had last time. Trying to be positive though as soon as af is here i can concentrate on next time. Anyway reflexologist should help.....amending my diet at the mo to get my digestive system sorted- that was sooo painful last time i went- she only had to touch my toes a bit on the left foot!! Next visit we are looking at fertility!!

anyway better go ds eating a prune...making a total mess.

Hulababy · 06/10/2004 08:49

CD29, 11DPO, today. Still have AF type symptoms of lower backache and some tuummy cramps. Had temp dip yesterday but temp back up again today. No AF yet but all signs to say it is on it's way. Just wish I knew when it was due - at least next cycle I will have a clearer idea hopefully.

Off tonight to meet our friend's newboarn baby boy. He's 5 days old so bound to make me feel even more broody.

Hope everyone is well today.

sweetheart · 06/10/2004 08:42

Morning ladies - up bright and early this morning!!!

krocket - so sorry about the pg friend. I know you want to be happy for them but I totally understand the . My SIL and best friend and assistant at work are all preg and then theres little old me!!!!

Twiga + Hulababy, thanks for your mesages of support. I'm feeling much better today and have put that whole thing behind me. (Some bitching to girlie friends worked a treat last night) I'm hoping the incident won't change the way I use MN (well not too much anyway)

Welcome to Valleygirl, great to have another ttcer to bounce mad ideas off of.

Tania2 - not sure about the positive results but this really does sound like a good month for you. And you were right the other day. If you fall this month there will be a huge increse in the chinese medicine market. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Tania2 · 06/10/2004 06:39

I feel like such an idiot.

Tania2 · 06/10/2004 06:37

Here i was thinking that my ov test was positive and it was inconclusive. I rang the company to find out a few things and asked why i would get a -ive in the morning and a +ive in the evening its because i would have eaten within 3 hrs of doing the test in the evening and the sugar levels would create a +ive. But i am still getting the pains??? Does anyone know what this would be??? i have never really felt ov pains b4 so i dont know how long they last for and if you get it leading up to oving?? Please could someone pls help me with this question iam very confused.

Tania2 · 05/10/2004 22:58

Sorry we bd on sunday night dh was away on monday night and i ov on Tuesday and bd last night. it is Wednesday morning here. sorry if i confuessed anyone

Tania2 · 05/10/2004 22:55

G'day girls, Wow this thread moves fast.
Welcome all new lerkers. Hope you have success soon.
Sorry to those who got af.
Sweetheart hope your feeling better.
BeckiF glad to hear that your party went well.
Hope i havent missed anyone.
Well you guys know how i said yesterday that i was having pains and i had done a ov test and it was -ive well i did another test last night b4 bed and it came up +ive so i WAS having ov pains (and i was only on CD9) never really had them like that b4 hopefully that means that the herbs are working. We bd Monday night and last night and dh said that the bding was more loving and this really is the month for us its meant to be! how sweet. I will be gutted if it doesn't happen this month. This ov test has come in really handy i would have never guessed that i would ov on CD9 so maybe that is where we have been going wrong.

hester · 05/10/2004 21:20

Deejayrus - I think late ovulation may have implications, because it means a short luteal phase. Can't remember the details now, or what you can do about it, but I'll look it up in my Toni Weschler bible and get back to you - unless some other mumsnetter gets there first!

Slink · 05/10/2004 19:15

mm don't know about that theroy dh was really unfit before and we had dd but glad to know that does damage him anyway, good luck lipstickmumxx

LipstickMum · 05/10/2004 19:06

I have a dd and would like a ds next time, we are BDing tonight and dp has just cycled to the gym to get all sweaty!! Ah well, boy or girl, I don't mind

Tessiebear · 05/10/2004 18:35

I have been told that cycling/ getting sweaty etc increases your chances of conceiving a girl because it reduces your sperm count - i wouldnt think it would totally cause loss of fertility though

Slink · 05/10/2004 18:32

DJR can't help although i think i ovulate twice a month, have read the link sweetheart suggested though.

Hi ladies just a quick question more clutching at straws really, DH cycles to work every day could that be stopping our chances of concieving????

Deejayrus · 05/10/2004 18:12

Late ovulation. Hi does anyone know if late ovulation affects conception? Just found out that I ovulate late in my cycle. Up to 5 days before my period is due. Any advice welcome. Thanks
