Hi all; weekend was lovely AF still here but nowhere near as bad. Looks like it is coming to its end now. So the whole process starts again in a few days. On CD5 today.

Hi to all newcomers

Cobweb - have everything crossed for you; try and relax and take care.

How's everyone else?

Cobweb · 10/10/2004 19:02

Hi girls I have had a weird weekend. Some blood on the tissue after wiping on Friday night which was a bit brighter red in colour (sorry TMI) and nothing until after my bath this morning where there was some browny colour staining on my towel

I just don't know what to think. Got the scan tomorrow so I will find out then!

Has anyone tested this weekend - got my fingers crossed for you xxx

Thanks for all your messages of support xxx

Love Cobweb

hi ya, have you tried testing with FSH test kits at all? Its a good & cheap way of seeing if you might be entering a pre-menopausal phase. Here is a quick bit about it & the web address to by the tests for home detection.

\link{http://earlypregnancy.co.uk/}

Everything you need to accurately determine if you are experiencing elevated FSH levels.

The tests are aimed at women between the ages of 30 and 55, where raised levels of FSH may be associated with reducing fertility.

Women experiencing reduced fertility, recently missed periods, hot flushes, night sweats, etc, can now easily and cheaply test if these symptoms are the result of elevated FSH.

The test kit works by measuring the urinary levels of the hormone FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone).

You collect and test a urine sample at Weekly intervals and TWO or more consecutive weekly positive results are considered significant.

Hi mrs Wednesday!!!

here we go again, just ovulated yesterday......day 23!!!! taking vit B6 to prolong my luteal phase...so we will see this month, if my dh swimmers have done their job!

by the way.....dead cheap pregnancy tests on www.earlypregnancy.co.uk
I got 25 ovulation sticks and 10 pregnany tests for £14!

jeddah · 10/10/2004 10:16

sexandhappy

just read your note about hormones ........ have you recently come off the pill?
If you went through pubity late ......usually this would mean you will menopause later aswell.

Have you been to the GP? I went along to mine with my DH and we both got tested.....dead easy results back in a week....then at least you know what is happening for sure........as its the not knowing that makes us cheesed off!.... just adds to it all. Ask your GP for fertility testing for both of you.

Sexyandhappy · 10/10/2004 09:35

Well I wish I had menstrual cramps or something remotely hormonal .... Since mid-July I have had 1 period only.... I can't remember when I saw "egg white" discharge ... I have hot flashes, am moody ,.... could it be pre-menopause ? I am 36 only but started puberty very late.... DH says it could be ...
Anyone have any thoughts/knowledge ????

jeddah · 10/10/2004 08:51

Thanks to everyone for all the welcomes!!!

Hester.....yes it is my first attempt at this baby making malarki!

Been to GP and all my tests are normal, but my DH swimmers were slightly lower than normal (in amount and mobility)...he smokes and we have been through a rough time recently as I am trying to get him to see that, HE NEEDS TO STOP IF WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BETTER CHANCE AT HAVING A BABY......sorry girls but he is doing my head in!

must go! hes just come in form the farm.....wanting breaky!

hester · 10/10/2004 08:50

I'm testing Wednesday. Hopes aren't high, though, as I've had my usual premenstrual cramps Feeling very sad about it right now. Best of luck to all of us this month.

MrsWednesday · 10/10/2004 06:59

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's a pg symptom Minnie1! How much longer until you can test?

Anyone else testing soon? Runtus, did you do another one on Friday? And Tessiebear, were you going to do one yesterday?

Have been thinking about you all weekend Cobweb, I'm hoping that everything is ok.

Good luck everyone.x

Spykid - ikwym. I've been nauseous for 2 days now, so got all excited thinking maybe this is the mnth. Went to my acupuncturist today, who said that she thought is was heartburn - bummer. (fingers still crossed though of course).

Made4it · 08/10/2004 17:41

Hi Cobweb, waves of love & support to you. My SIL is going thru a similiar thing at the mo, 2 previous miscarriages, 12 wks pregnant & can't find a heartbeat. They are making her wait 2 weeks until her next midwife appointment. Our health authority can be quite insensitive at times.

All the best for the weekend & Mon scan. Rest easy this weekend, but maybe get out & about to take your mind of things?

Tessiebear · 08/10/2004 17:37

Cobweb - i hope your weekend is not too stressful - try and take it easy if you can
Everyone - hope you all have a good weekend - be it BDing, AFing or waiting for BFP's - lets all try and relax and not think about this ttcing too much until Monday!!!
(says she who has just consumed a whole bag of Bombay mix and convinced it is an early craving!!!!!

spykid · 08/10/2004 16:06

Felling a litle queezy today, just don't know whether this could be an early pg symptom or if I have picked up a bug...have been teaching in a nursery school this week(lots of unwanted bodily fluid contact!)
Your imagination goes into overdrive when you are waiting to test, am imagining all sorts!

Bibi20 · 08/10/2004 16:03

Pier - yes it is funny about our stats, I did think that when I read your earlier post, but forgot to mention it in mine!
Here's hoping that neither of us can drink on our 31st birthdays... (mine's New Year's Eve just in case we turn out to have another thing in common!)

Minnie1 - I use a saliva test for ovulation (think I posted on it in an earlier ttc thread) - much cheaper than sticks and less fiddly too!

spykid · 08/10/2004 16:02

hope everything goes well for you cobweb...thinking of you x

Bibi20 · 08/10/2004 16:00

Thinking of you Cobweb, all the best x

Bagpuss30 · 08/10/2004 16:00

I have my fingers crossed for you too Cobweb. I also had 3 episodes of spotting up to 12 weeks with ds so I know how distressing it is. Good luck.

Tessiebear · 08/10/2004 15:31

Good luck Cobweb!! ((((((((HUGS)))))))))))
