Morning all! CD27. Should be excited and ready to test but think i oved really late so i am on the 2 week wait as well. Trying not to think about it and not imagine symptoms!

I am allowing myself the latter but not the former whilst we are TTC (and when hopefully pg of course!) so you can have my share too.

Hi Cosybear, yes I'm a first-timer too. And 40! First started trying to get pregnant five years ago, but lots of life stuff has happened (if ever this thread goes quiet, I'll bore you with it - but no danger of that yet ). I never thought I'd still be ttc at the age of 40. This time round I've been ttc for eight months. It's very hard to cope with the continued failure at my age, and with the fear that it will never happen. AF came last night, so I'm feeling a bit at the moment, but have promised myself gin AND chocolate later, so not all is doom and gloom!

Don't know much about the temping, but i would temp every morning,

Glad you are feeling a bit better Cobweb, keep downing that chocolate!

Started temping yesterday (dh against it initially) so I've only got two readings to go by but wanted to check, should I be temping while af is around - or does that knock it off an even scale? Going to get some ov kits in a week or so as well to try and pin down ov properly this month.....

Quick tip in terms of keeping up with the thread for newbies - if there is a lot of posts when I check in I sit with a bit of paper and scribble down any messages/comments for people so I can keep track in my reply, cross bits off if already answered etc - HTH!

Cosybear, from what I remember other first timers are; Pier, Hester, Minnie1 and me. I guess in the scheme of things I've not been trying that long - 5 cycles - intially fell pg at second cycle but mc in July, now on third cycle since then and hoping hard for this month.

CD22 here, no symptoms either way - trying not to think about it.

Monring girls, I feel okish this morning.

No more bleeding and the pains on my side which were like a stitch pain have now gone.

It is horrible waiting 10 days but I feel a bit more positive today.

Cosybear, i am also a first timer, m/c in June and we are over a year trying.. But since my m/c we have been really trying b4 that it was a case of if it happens it happenes..

I'm a first timer too Cosybear and I have to admit to being a bit nervous at the prospect of all this ttc actually working! It is getting easier to see being real though as the months go on, not that I wouldn't prefer to fall pg now....I just get the feeling that if I had fallen right away, it would all feel too easy (if that makes any sense?!). That said, next time I get a bfn I won;t feel like that!

Hi Jeddah, I too am a new member. I only started posting a few days ago. It moves so fast here, it's manic trying to keep up. I had been lurking for a few weeks before posting, but reading everyones notes I felt I knew them - it is a strange kind of situation ifykwim (if you know what i mean). Just jump right in I say.

I wanted to let you know about the Acroynm list at the top of the page under 'useful stuff'. This helped me out a lot.

Hi there Jeddah, welcome to ttc. It is a bit mad on this thread, as you can see it moves really quickly sometimes and it's the luck of the draw whether you are online at the same time as someone else and have a "conversation". I tend to post and then get distracted, go off to baby group or something and come back 3 hours later. I think we all feel like we're talking to ourselves at some point, I know I do! I'm relatively new to the ttc thread too. I think a lot of us lurk before plucking up courage (or whatever it may be) to speak on this thread

Anyway, have a fab time sharing with all of us, have an even better time BDing and good luck with ttc ~~~~~~~~~

my fella is grinning all over his face at the mo as he is having a long hot bath tonight, since we went to the DRs last month and got his slightly lowered swimmers result! he has been banned from his baths which he loves! So after all tha BD over the weekend and ov well and truely over he is now looking foward to his soak!
