Sorry you tested too early Tessiebear Still, it was too early, there may be some hope later on. I only tested because I was putting myself through hell and just wanted to know some facts!

MommyD · 14/10/2004 10:21

I too have had really bad AF pains just before AF was due with both my pregnancies.
It would be just TOO much to expect to fall pg this month - our first month of trying for #3 and we didn't really bd at the best time.
Hang around here LipstickMum! What number baby will this be for you?

Tessiebear · 14/10/2004 10:20

Sorry Lipstick - you have just answered my question!

Tessiebear · 14/10/2004 10:19

Lipstickmum- did you feel any different the week leading up to your BFP?

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 10:14

MommyD, I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever, except the mild cramping, like AF. This is exactly the same as my last pregnancy though. Even though we haven't been trying long, I am still in disbelief. Don't want to get too carried away. Is there a thread for us in-betweenies, I don't feel ready to jump on the "due in June" thread just yet I like you guys too much!

MommyD · 14/10/2004 10:07

Ta Tessiebear - it is very unlikely I am pg this month... bd on cd 10 and cd11. Then dh went away for a week. Ov on cd13.
Lots of pain on left ovary (similar but worse than the sharp pain I get at ov) so I know it's my ovary bothering me.

Tessiebear · 14/10/2004 10:02

Lipstick - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! - 5th Graduate????? Fantastic!!!!!

Georgesmum - same thing happened to me this month - thought i was oving around CD14 then got the eggwhite on CD22 - did some rushed BDing (as we had used up all our energy earlier in the cycle and hadnt done it since)!
MommyD - could it be Implantation cramping??? (Dont know much about this but am sure i have heard something of this nature discussed)
Tania yes Brazilian definately did the job - am a convert - will get it re-done next week Hoping it wont be as painful this time round as the hair is newer IYSWIM

Georgesmum - Re: getting you DH to "perform" around OV time - 1 word BRAZILIAN WAX!!!! Worth the pain - he will BD AT THE DROP OF A HAT and time of day or night

Shely - your story moved me to tears.... lots of hugs winging their way across a few continents to you.

Everyone - can i join the "did a HPT way too early and got a BFN" club. CD29 - only bloody OVed on CD22 - somebody please tell me why i was sooo stupid!

MommyD · 14/10/2004 09:48

I really wasn't expecting it, was steeling myself for a single line and disappointment. I still don't believe it, I thought the test was faulty and the line was faint, so I did another test this morning, but it was also a BFP!!
However, just to be sure, I am going to get another test today and test tomorrow morning. I just can't believe my eyes

I feel so bad for moaning last night about AF being on the way...

I suppose 2 tests can't be wrong, can they???

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 09:31

and I got a BFP!!!!

Ok Girls, last night (cd27) I was convinced AF was coming (see conversation I had with Hula).
I am in the waiting for AF/ wondering if I am pg stage of the cycle, the worst bit IMO. Shely had very wise words and suggested I test, even though I feel 'more' pregnant not knowing. I decided she was right, I needed to put myself out of my misery and I decided to test last night...

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 09:26

Sorry to hear AF arrived Shely and Sally

MommyD · 14/10/2004 09:26

Morning all....
I am on cd22 and getting very bad pains around my left ovary. It happened on and off all day yesterday and this morning. It has made me wince a couple of times. Don't usually get this after ov (cd13 this month). Anyone know what this could be?

MINNIE1 · 14/10/2004 09:18

sallie,

AF arrived this morning
Silly to get my hopes up as I am under a huge amount of stress at the moment. My face has also errupted - how nice!!!

runtus · 14/10/2004 09:04

Morning all, blimey you all had a good chat last night dIdn't you?! Took me ages to catch up.

Finally gave in and bought a saliva ov testing thingy last night, had a quick test run (CD6 so know not oving now) and it all seems easy enough. Like the fact that it is the same size as a lipstick so can be taken to work easy enough.....DP was a bit non-plussed with the whole thing but think that is just still part of the not wanting to get all'technical' about it....he is by nature in the 'let nature take it's course' camp but I'm wearing him down! I think my need to get pg has just got stronger since I sorted out my maternity leave and everything with work - I just want to get on with it now !!!!

Cobweb - hang in there girl and I know it's not possible to forget about it but try not to stress about it, the more relaxed you are the better.

In case you have forgotten I am still holding Sweethearts chocolate stash, anyone hungry or in need of sustenance??

pooka · 14/10/2004 07:59

LipstickMum I also think AF is on its way. It's ridiculous for me to be upset about it, really, as this is only really the second month of trying. With dd, who is now 15 months, I conceived first time (wedding night) and I'm paranoid/worried that that means I'm going to find it more difficult this time round. Stupid, I know. I just have never been the most patient of people. It was a real shock last time as had been told I had polycystic ovaries, and hadn't had an AF for 11 months, until first AF just before wedding.
oh well - keep on trying.
Shely - I also seem to have been having awful AF's. Tania2 - fingers crossed that means more eggs and more fertile. Certainly prefer having and AF, however nasty, to not having one IYSWIM.

jeddah · 14/10/2004 06:39

god girls!!!!!! its taking me aging to catch up!

Thanks minnie1 I feel better today.

I am cd28, I ov on cd22 and last month I had a luteal phase of 6 days!!!!!!!! I am now 6 days today post ov!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hoping and praying hard.

Girls............what cd can I do preggers test????????

regards to all

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 04:42

Shelly what are you doing up at this time. I have an excuse i live in Australia its 1:40pm here.
In regards to painful af i do get and have always had painful and heavy af's I suffer from endo. Iam seeing a narapath and she has told me that heavy af's are good the more you bleed the more eggs you release and its a good clean out. The pain is the unwanted crap breaking away from the lining. This is the only thing now that gets me through my af's.

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 04:36

G'day girls,
Shelly sorry about AF arriving. You story was very moving and i shed some tears for you. God brought you an angel and knew that it would make you who you are today a strong positive and loving person. I was very glad to read that you now have a beautiful partner you so very much deserve him and he is very luck to have you. I know your angel is watching over you and will help you conceive. Good luck and bless your soul.

Tessiebear ~ good to read that the brazilian worked! See i told you it would be worth the pain are you hooked now will you be continuing??

Onamnbreakbut ~ Good luck all sounds promising

Cobweb ~ no bleeding has to be a good sign. i had horrible cramping and spot bleeding with ds and he is a beautiful healthy boy.

Happy bding everyone and good luck to those ready to test!!!
