Thank you lipstickmum i would love some of your baby dust really want to be pg b4 xmas as one of my friends that has a son the same age as mine is due at xmas we both started ttc at the same time and she fell straight away dont know how i will deal with holding her newborn without knowing that i will be there soon holding mine
Welcome Chuffed and good luck.

MommyD · 14/10/2004 12:42

Sallie - a break sounds like what you need. And you are also into small age gaps! Mine are 14 and 29 months! Do you find it hard with two so small?

Sallie · 14/10/2004 12:36

my two are:
dd 8 months
ds 25 months
Now on third month of trying - using persona. Will probably now leave it for a couple of months and start again in Dec. Mentally and physically probably not yet over the m/c I had last month even though it was an early one, and also having a crap time at work which is taking all my energy. Don't want ds and dd to suffer as well....I keep needing to dash to the loo to have a cry. So hope things get better.

ebbie22 · 14/10/2004 12:32

congrats lipstick....ttc number 2...

MommyD · 14/10/2004 12:29

Bagpuss - how old are your 2? Four and ?
I am on cd22 and actually starting to wonder if i might be pg (probably 'cos I've spent a lot of the morning on here, actually!). Ask me yesterday and I've had said no way. I thought it was blown this month as dh was away from cd12-15 and I ov on cd13. Also, only month one of trying.

Bagpuss30 · 14/10/2004 12:22

MommyD, love your post about adding chaos to chaos . I'm sure that's what it will be like here too.....

MommyD · 14/10/2004 12:20

MommyD · 14/10/2004 12:18

sallie, pamina, tessiebear and I are all trying for #3. Anyone else?
Yes, Tania, I suppose I might still be in with a chance this month. No symptoms though. AF not due for another week.
Only thing that was odd... and totally unlike me... was yesterday I went into the loo at work and burst into tears. I have absolutely no idea why. Composed myself and came out 10 minutes later! What an idiot!

Bagpuss30 · 14/10/2004 12:17

Congratulations Lipstickmum , what brilliant news.

I haven't managed to read all the messages but hello to everyone and welcome to any new TTCers out there.

DS was 4 yesterday and I can't believe that 4 years ago I was holding my lovely little newborn bundle, time certainly does fly and it's making me very broody. I'm also at the am I/aren't I stage on CD21 so 8 days to go and I feel like I'm building myself up for a big letdown . DH still convinced that his swimmers have done their job and feeling rather nervous about it all. We are TTC no 3 - I didn't realise there were so many of us on this thread .

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 11:56

Tania I am sticking around with some of my left over lucky dust for you all ~~~~~~~~~

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 11:55

Wow Chuffed, you really are going for it aren't you!? Good for you! Are you still bfing your ds only, or are you weaning him? I got my AF back after only about 12 weeks, I was quite peed off! Some of the other girls may have some experience of this. I don't. I would become best-friends with your cm though because that is a good indicator that things are happening, then you will have a rough idea of your cd (cycle day) and when to bd (baby dance).

Shely, really good luck today with your specialist appointment today, hope you her something good, do let us know crosses fingers

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 11:50

Congratulations Lipstickmum another graduate this is a lucky thread.
sallie af sucks doen't it
Runtus ~ i have got one of those lipstick ov tests not really convinced yet if it works. Felt like i was oving CD9 and test was negitive in the morning but positive that night. when i rang the company they told be that you have to do it first thing in the morning like when you take your temp if you have eaten or drank anything it will mess the test up. then yesterday i did the test and it was positive but today i had stuffed it up some how and got nothing by the time that i realised i had already had breakfast. bd yesterday and today anyway, lucky dh has been working from home . good luck hope it works for you(and me).

Tessiebear ~ good to read you will be joining the brazilian club you can never go back now. Sorry that you got a BFN but as you said you may have tested too early. Dont feel alone in the testing too early club we have all been there but i have only been able to test twice in the 10 months i have been ttc everytime i think "i will test tomorrow" af shows her ugly head!!!!!

MommyD ~ you might be still in for a chance this month i have just read in the instructions for my ov test that sperm can last from 1 day to 4 days if you fall pg this month you should be having a girl. Fingers crossed still.

Iam currently on CD18 i could be 9 days past ov or iam 1 day past ov who knows. me not know?????

Now its the long long wait till af shows her ugly head. But i do have really sore nipples....nar me just being silly....but they are really sore like brused to touch....shit this will be a long week and a half till iam due.

Sallie · 14/10/2004 11:40

pamina3 - I have been chatting on the ttc after a m/c thread too...have just posted on there. Hope all is well with you. It doesn't get any easier does it?

Hi chuffed - welcome... if you look at your cervical discharge you might know if you are ovulating.

I went to the GP this AM to get checked out and she hasn't really helped but wants me to have a blood test to check if I am in deed showing signs of being pre-menopausal... will have the test next week.

Sallie · 14/10/2004 11:36

tessiebear - am also ttc no 3 - best of luck.....

Chuffed · 14/10/2004 11:35

Can I join in. Slightly different scenario here. Have dd 6 1/2 mths old and would like to start trying for #2. Only BF 2x a day now but no AF so can't start charting.
dd conceived by sheer fluke came off pill no AF for 5 months and then happened to fall pregnant. So no idea when I ovulate as I haven't had a no pill cycle for just over 12 years...yikes. (Just turned 30)

SHELY · 14/10/2004 11:26

i went to bed at 12:45 and i have been up since 5:30am. it's pitch black out. i didn't even set an alarm, my body just "bing" woke me up lol got my specialist appt. in a few hours. i get nervous and shy, but i hope they take me seriously for a change, and actually "do something" for me. sometimes, i lose all my nerves in front of a doctor, and they treat me like a little girl, even at 29 years old. hope he doesn't intimidate me too much. i've been waiting for this appt. for a month. i know between me and the hubby i'll be doing most of the talking.

And to all you ladies who had af, rear her ugly head, don't woory about it, we'll get rid of that old witch, soon enough!! later gals!

Tessiebear · 14/10/2004 10:49

MommyD - i know what you mean - our house is pretty much in constant chaos too - the only difference is that mine go to school! Quick chance to tidy up before they return and make - MORE CHAOS!
I had better go and tidy up now ... (Waves goodbye..)

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 10:42

OK, I have already had a sneaky read of the "due in June" thread and been on the FunMum, Formes and ebay for maternity clothes websites

I think I need to go and do something constructive about the house before I go insane see you ladies later waves

MommyD · 14/10/2004 10:42

I just figure that it can't get much harder than this!! Adding another would just be chaos on chaos, which basically adds up to CHAOS!!

Tessiebear · 14/10/2004 10:38

Yes - definately hang around here until you are ready Lipstick - that goes without saying on the TTC thread does it not
MommyD - my DS's are 6 and a half and nearly 4 - i am an advocate of "too shit scared to have had another closeish age gap! "

MommyD · 14/10/2004 10:34

I ov on cd13 (possibly 14). No symptoms. Felt very sick the last couple of days - but that has happened on cycles where we have not even been trying. Only thing different is lots of v painful twinges on LHS - cyst?
I have two sons ages 1 and 2 and as you can see am a great advocate of small age gaps!

LipstickMum · 14/10/2004 10:26

MommyD, this will be #2 I have a dd who is 17 months
I should spread some of my babydust to you all ~~~~~~~~~~ it worked for me1

Tessiebear · 14/10/2004 10:24

I agree MommyD - would be too much for me to ask for too to fall the first month trying!!! I am also TTC no.3. - first month off the mini-pill CD29 - must say my boobs feel v. Weird - almost burning - but if i OVed around CD22 it would be too early for symptoms anyway surely!
