Sorry, have a DS (4) and a DD (2). 22 months between them and thank god I'm never doing that again . I am also 30 (or twenty ten as ds says) and would like to think I'm as fertile as I was 5 years ago but feel that I'm probably not.

Spykid, sorry about the BFN , better luck next month.

Sallie, (((hugs))).

I have a quandry for everyone on no 3. dh only ever imagined us with two children and so after dd was born everyone kind of assumed that I wouldn't be having any more. Obviously we have changed our minds now but yesterday mil was poking around our spare room (in which we are currently storing some old baby stuff) and started saying to dh "ooh, XXXX will thake that cot off you..." This has really started me thinking now and I'm really worried about how they will take our news (should it ever happen). Also, sil has just bought a new big car and I know this will be the precurser to them having their second child. I'm concerned that she'll think I'm somehow stealing her thunder and also that mil will think the same, yet, I really want to have another baby. dh's side of the family have a bit of a history of long running disputes between family members and I don't want to start another but knowing my luck it most probably will. Obviously this hasn't happened yet but I just wanted to know how you all would handle it as I'm not good at this sort of thing. Also, no one knows that we are TTC (you lot are priviledged, lol) and dh thinks it would come as a shock to them.

MommyD · 14/10/2004 13:55

any symptoms minnie? If your last cycle was 36, testing on 28 is prob way too early. What's the average length of your cycle?

MINNIE1 · 14/10/2004 13:51

MommyD · 14/10/2004 13:43

onamnbreakbut - do you mean you are trying for #3? Do you have boys? girls?
I'll also add mariella and change it to trying for 3+ i.e. LOADSAKIDS!!! mariella - what have you got already?

mariella · 14/10/2004 13:40

Wow what a long thread!
Can I join in? I'm a long term lurker with three children and am now ttc #4! Brave or what. Well, haven't actually started ttc yet, but had my Mirena removed this morning which is a good step. If anyone knows what happens now (am i likely to get af immediately or does it take a while?) please let me know!
Congratulations to all the graduates, hope I become one too (but not in October I don't think!)

onamnbreakbut · 14/10/2004 13:38

Dont for get me!!! The starter of the thread. You could start another with a list of graduates so far and those left to test. Im testing next weekend but may test this as ov'd early

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 13:29

Thats right Beckif is still on holidays. my memory is up the duff pitty i'm not...ha ha.

spykid (ds ds) 30

hester · 14/10/2004 13:22

Hi Tania, I was wondering about BeckiF - think she's on holiday?

You're right about the length of the thread, but don't you think we should wait for our sixth graduate before we start another? (That of course depends on how long the next graduate is going to take - come on, ladies, jump to it!)

If I'm outvoted, should we agree who starts the next one (and so gets double helpings of babydust)?

MommyD · 14/10/2004 13:22

yes - thread's too long, but it's LUCKY!!!!

spykid · 14/10/2004 13:22

CONGRATULATIONS LIPSTICK!!
so pleased for you ,you must be really excited
Hi to all those ttc, haven't read all old messages today just skimmed. Feeling low as did another pg test today(CD27) and BFN. now started spotting so i guess AF is packing her bag ready for a visit
Can I add myself to the ttc no.3 list please MommyD. Have ds1 age 6 and ds2 age4.
Guess I sound silly with such high expectations for my first month ttc, but i caught straight away with first too and naivley thought it would be the same again...30 now though so perhaps age has something to do with it?
Runtus ,I could do with a nice big slab of choccie cake with all the trimmings please!
Lipstickmom Thanks for the b.dust!xx

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 13:17

Has anyone heard from BeckiF lately??? I think we are missing some people has there been more graduates and i am not keeping up???

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 13:14

Is anyone thinking that this thread is getting too long?? it seems to be taking ages to refresh.

hester · 14/10/2004 13:13

I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THIS THREAD!

But how completely fantastic that we now have graduate no. 5 - congratulations, LipstickMum, you must be thrilled. PLEASE send some babydust my way.

I can't believe we only started this thread two weeks ago and already we have five BFPs. It really must be the luckiest thread of all time.

Shely - you have been to hell and back, and I truly hope life starts picking up for you now. You deserve lots of serenity and happiness from here on in. Best of luck with your appointment; let us know how it goes.

Sallie - .

As for me, I'm CD2 and feeling very perky. CD1 is always very tearful, but then I pick up for a couple of weeks - the sun is in the sky, I'm back on the agnus castus/starflower oil/grapefruit juice, and next week I'll be babymaking again. Tra la la. Anything is possible until day 20, and then I start going insane, walk round with a face like a slapped backside, and demand chocolate at all hours. Until then, you may enjoy my company

Tania2 · 14/10/2004 13:13

MommyD i thought i had crashed my server too dont know what happend then.
Chuffed does yours say to do the test in the morning or is it like runtus and you do it in the middle of the day. i would find it easier to do in the middle of the day. are you alowed to eat or drink within a certian time frame b4 doing the test???

It says that it detects the estrogen level in saliva. For best results it should be used immediately after waking and befre eating, drinking smoking or brushing fo the teeth.
When fertile it shows ferns.
