No worries Krocket, been ttc since May this year and only ever thought I may not be oving when my mate mentioned that my cycles are really long. Av is 38 days and by now they should be back to around 28/30 (came off pill in May).Apparently it is a sign of not oving....

Are youy having a similar thing?

MommyD · 18/10/2004 10:44

No Tania - I did not need a big poooo! There is a big difference (I think) between period pains (which I had) and errr well, other pains. I had bad period pains on cd24 and they were so bad that I felt sick. They've gone now.

krocket · 18/10/2004 10:37

sorry no time to read all the posts - just wanted to ask - Runtus, if you don't mind me asking how long have you been trying and what made you think you weren't ovulating?

Tania2 · 18/10/2004 10:37

I really must refresh b4 i type my post the last post i read was from jeddah and then the next i know everyone is here will have to catch up now. sorry

Tania2 · 18/10/2004 10:35

Good Morning girls, at last some people to speak to. Gee i hate this time difference stuff.

Thank you for all your replys to my question. I really hope that it is that i had a little bit later but nothing since. I still keep going to the loo to check if af has showed her ugly head dont know why cause not due till sunday.

Lipstickmum ~ Morning sickness is hard isnt it i had it with ds till 23 weeks but it was all day and especially when it was time to cook dinner i couldnt face raw meat or even veg for that matter.

Runtus ~ hope all goes well with your tests it keeps you going to know that you might have something to help you along.

MommyD ~ was the pain really that bad. You didnt need to do a big poo did you cause i can sometimes get that pain when i need to do one. IYKWIM

Jeddah ~ Iam currently on CD 22 I have either ov on either CD9 or CD17 or 18 i spoke to my natrapath and she said it is possible that i may have ov twice this month cause of the herbs that iam on help you ov something about menstral phase being the first ov that the MOON phase being the 2nd. All a bit hippy for me but we will wait and see.

Another question....How many days after ov are you meant to get the implatation bleed?????

MommyD · 18/10/2004 10:30

Tania - your experience sounds VERY promising.
sweetheart - you are not alone - I too am on cd26 and ALSO have an annoying pain in my right boob. I am 99% sure I am not pg - I have no symptoms anymore.
Question for you clever ladies I was reading some of the other threads - implantation happens from 7 days to about 10 days after ov is that right? - looks good for you Tania?? So if you implant on day 7 are you more likely to get an early pg test positive ie. sooner than if implantation had occured on day 11? Is HCG produced AFTER implantation?

binatracy · 18/10/2004 10:29

hi all
sorry havent been on for while internet playing up!! well af now 2 days late and no sign of arriving(smile) i did a test yesyerday but was negative(sad) wierd because i really thought was this time, maybe tested to early so im going to do another today, wish me luck!! ive no longer got stomach cramps either
goodluck to everyone xxx

runtus · 18/10/2004 10:23

It's all a matter of chance really, unless you have been recommended someone?

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 10:20

Yeah I will for definate. There are 3 Dr surgerys in our town so maybe there will be a more sympathetic doctor else where!!!!

runtus · 18/10/2004 10:13

Ask around anyway, he doesn't sound to kosher!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 10:10

I have always had a gripe about my GP. There was an incident a few years ago were he was suspended from the practice for having an affair with a patient!!!! Unfortunaly alot of doctors in our area seem to be over subscribed and I believe that GP's are like politicians!! None of them are any bloody good!!!!!

runtus · 18/10/2004 10:07

I agree with Jeddah S/heart, you should def have been offered some early tests (if for no other reason than that it would save time and money for the NHS, rather than sending you to specialists..) If you know of a bette gp in the same practise I would request to transfer or move practise if need be to a good one you know of. If this is the level of treatment you are getting now, is it ever going to get better??

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 10:04

jeddah is this true!!! My doctor has NEVER offered me any sort of test. This is the 2nd time I have been referred straight to the hospital - and last time I went they said because we weren't ttc (at that time) they wouldn't bother to run any tests. If they had this could have been sorted nearly 4 years ago and we wouldn't be having these problems now I'm feeling very annoyed this morning!!!!

Runtus - I love the ww desserts but I will be having the full fat version tonight (heated up until the choc melts with a big dollop of clotted cream ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!) YUUUMMMYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ooh just thought, I discovered a fab WW chocolate desert on Friday night.......with marshmallows!

jeddah · 18/10/2004 09:55

sweetheart your doctor is CRAP!
I would think about changing him/her>

It is very good GP practice to offer first line fertility testing!!!!!

I really would look at changing or making another appointment and insisting..... it is your right!

me and my dh were tested last month, because I asked for it!

runtus · 18/10/2004 09:55

Sorry to hear your Dr is as crap as mine normally is, it seems that some of them gain a degree in being unhelpful at the same time the get their medical degrees! Hopefully you have better luck with the next appointment and get a nice one

MINNIE1 · 18/10/2004 09:51

Mornign all,
sallie ((hugs)) I have not kids (yet) but i do have heavy AF somtimes.. Hope you feel better soon.

Cobweb,
How are you feeling?? ITs great to hear from you..

Tania2, Implantation bleed, that the onlt thing that springs to mind, Finger crossed 4 you

Runtus, Hope the blood test go good for you.

I am not testing until AF is really late, I have no symptoms, had a hit of AF pains today.. CD32..
Hope all you ladys are well and happy

jeddah · 18/10/2004 09:51

lipstick mum
we are off to barcelona on wed until sat, really looking forward to it! I am off work the whole week though.

when I get back I will be 14dpo and will test then. (if af doesn't arrive before, that is)

had a great dinner party last night . our best friends cam over, she is 20 weeks preggers! got pregnant the 1st month of trying!!!!!!!! I am so happy for them both, but VERY VERY envious!!!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 09:47

Morning ladies!!!

Cd 26 here and have a pain in my right boob (sure sign that af is on it's way!!!!!)

I was really hoping that this month would be "the one" as I've been using OPK's. Still, I have my gyne appointment to look forward to on wednesday!!!

Runtus, it sounds like your doctor was fantastic!! I wish mine was as good. I visited my doctor ages ago and he wouldn't do any blood test - he said the hospital would want to do thier own so there was no point in him doing them Now I've been waiting over 4 months for this bloody appointment and I'm convinced they will do nothing when I go.

Sorry!!! I'm not normally the sort of person that gets down but this bloody ttc lark is really becomming a burden.

I have my weight watchers weigh in tonight so rest assured I'm going to treat myself to a huge slab of choc fudge cake afterwards!!!!!

Oh p.s. welcome to all the newbies - and Tania2 - sounds like implantation bleeding to me - fingers crossed for you, I really hope your method has worked!!!!! (mostly so I can pinch it afterwards!!! )

Sallie · 18/10/2004 09:40

Good luck Tania.
I am still here - now on day 4 of af - very heavy again which has consequently knocked me out for the past 4 days. Anyone else experience heavy af after having had kids?

LipstickMum · 18/10/2004 09:30

When are you of to Barcelona Jeddah?

jeddah · 18/10/2004 09:13

Hi cobweb.....best of luck with everything!...I am sure friday seems like ages away! try and keep yourself busy!

Runtus, hope blood results are ok, I understand what you mean about not wanting the gynae route if poss!!

Tania2......sounds to be like ????implantation spotting......any other symptoms amd waht cd are you and when was youe od?

Today I am cd32 after od at 23/24, still not af! I have decided to try and forget about it all, have a great time in Bracelona and test when I get back!
The bloody waiting is a real killer!

MommyD · 18/10/2004 09:09

Tania - af due Thurs cd29 so I reckon it is too early to test. Don't think I am pg though - don't feel pg. I thought I might be last week and I am still worried about the excrutiating abdominal pain (AF-like) that I had for a day and a half over the weekend. I felt sick with the intensity of the pain. (that can't be right, can it?) It's gone completely now.
I have decided to stick to NOT testing until next weekend, IF AF is late. AND NOT BEFORE"
Hope everyone is feeling good...

Hulababy · 18/10/2004 08:55
