As afar as I know about 10 days after ov s/heart but don't quote me on that!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 15:26

Ok, I know this has been answered already but I'm gonna ask anyway.

How many days after ovulation should I test. I'm cd 26 now and I think I ov'd about day 17/18.

I know I said I didn't think i was this month but it wouldn't hurt to test.......would it

Tessiebear · 18/10/2004 15:26

Afternoon all! Been house sitting for friends and their computer dosnt work AAAAHHHHH! Just popped back to check our house is ok and to log on for 5 mins!!
CD 34 here - OVed around CD22/3. Have been feeling a bit odd all w/end. Boobs a bit tingly, then not .... bit sick, then not.... metalic taste in mouth, then not ..... VERY VIVID IMAGINATION CONSTANTLY!!!! I feel very emotional / a bit tearful but then i do prior to A/F normally ... but dont have many other AF symptoms so who knows ... i really want to hold off from testing until the weekend but am tempted to get a first response in a day or two... watch this space!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 15:09

I think my bosses judgement over what we talk about would be clouded by the steam coming from his ears if he knew how much time I spent on here instead of doing work!!!!

Oh well, what he doesn't know and all that.......

runtus · 18/10/2004 15:01

My boss would go bright red and leave the room if he knew the stuff we talk about, having said that so would my dp!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 15:00

Runtus, it's so unfair!!! Crisps and choc - I'm so

Why is it these people expect us to come in and actually work - I mean, for godness sake - don't they know about the imprtant things in life. Personally I think this thread should be written into my contract as a vital part of my daily chores!!!!!

hester · 18/10/2004 14:59

runtus · 18/10/2004 14:58

I hate work - it keeps distracting me from my real pursuit in life which is this thread! you have all managed to go mental in the last half hour while I've been stuck in some extra dull meeting about tax! SO UNFAIR!!!

I'll have to make up for it by eating these crisps and massive bar of chocolate. Might even treat myself to a cup of caffeine ( I know how to live!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 14:57

Hester, you can't possible go - we'll suck you back in.

Good job my boss isn't in - he'd freak!!!!

hester · 18/10/2004 14:50

Can I just add that I'm actually a serious person who gets paid a good wage to think about things other than getting pregnant, eating chocolate and drinking gin, so if anybody sees me on this thread again today please tell me to GO AWAY

Hulababy · 18/10/2004 14:50

I've only been out a couple of hours, and look how long this has got!!! You lot can talk for England (and eveywhere else too)!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 14:50

Hester!!!!! What you can actually bribe someone - Oh PLEASE tell me who!!!! I'll pay loads!!!!

Don't worry girls - I'll have to revel in the triumph of being the 1000th poster because I don't think they'll be any BFP's for me. The painful right boob is always a dead giveaway for me I'm affraid!!!!

Perhaps I'll have to post under another name if I did fall preg - that way I might not get caught. Either that or I'll just CAT you all with the good news!!!!!! Anyway, totally jumping the gun here - I have to actually manage to get preg first

MommyD - fingers crossed for you - I'll be here with lashings of choc cake and wine for all those of us with BFN's next week!!!

hester · 18/10/2004 14:48

MommaD. It's the worst time of the month, isn't it? Like thunderclouds coming over the horizon. I hope your body is playing tricks on you, but if it's not, don't forget the healing powers of alcohol and chocolate xxx

hester · 18/10/2004 14:46

Ooh that's right jeddah, I'd momentarily forgotten that you'd be testing too. GOOD LUCK! I've kind of decided that if you get pg I will too, so I've got my fingers crossed especially tightly for you

Oh, and enjoy Barcelona.

MommyD · 18/10/2004 14:45

I am pretty sure you can count me out - I feel AF on her way AND we completely missed ov days as dh was away from home . If AF arrives on time dh will be away peak time next month too
I did a First Response yesterday and it was a BFN anyway. Might have been too early to test but doubt it . It was 3 (maybe 4) days before AF due. Cycles are 28 or 29 days

jeddah · 18/10/2004 14:42

Hi little old jeddah here, I too am ready for testing at the weekend, I already tested on 7dpo and got a BFN I was told that I tested far too early.

I fly to barcelona on wed and back sat....so I will test sunday morning (cd38 and 15dpo) Thats if af hasn't arrived...so whos ready for testing then...

Am I right in thinking that, US 4 are all testing at the weekend....have I missed anyone due for testing?

hester · 18/10/2004 14:39

Sweetheart, you can't possibly keep it secret from us, don't be silly! Firstly, because you'll burst with the effort. Secondly, because we have x-ray eyes and We Will Know. And thirdly, because if you suddenly go silent tongues will wag and you'll be well busted. Surrender to the inevitable!

hester · 18/10/2004 14:36

Sweetheart, I forgive you - but if you get the next BFP I will begin to seriously wonder if there's bribery and corruption going on

Seriously, if you, MommyD and Tania2 all get BFPs I will be upgrading my celebratory Rather Good Glass of Wine to something very sparkly. AND Green&Black chocolate. And I will be suggesting you all join me because it will suggest that this thread is very lucky indeed and to be treasured.

Now Tania2, GO TO BED! You need your sleep! Would it help if we sang you a lullaby?

Mariella - thanks babes; your support means a lot

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 14:33

Tania, don't leave us!!!! The night is young and so are you!!!!!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 14:33

I won't be able to post if I get a BFP though. My dh wants us to keep it a secret until 12 weeks and although I would tell you girls in a flash I have a friend who uses MN and I know she's been in here checking up on me!!!!!!

Plus I have a £50 bet with her that I wouldn't be able to keep quiet for 12 weeks and I really can't afford to loose £50!!!!!

Tania2 · 18/10/2004 14:32

Iam really going to bed now REALLY!!
Good night [sleepy face icon]

Tania2 · 18/10/2004 14:28

Hey we could have another 3 graduates by next week MommyD, Sweetheart and ME. Thats positive thinking isn't it girls!

Tania2 · 18/10/2004 14:27

RIGHT THATS IT IAM GOING TO BED!@!!!! But if ds wakes in the night i will be here checking on you girls!!!

sweetheart · 18/10/2004 14:26

hester sorry babe!!!!

I should be ready to test at the weekend if af hasn't already arrived. Maybe I'll be the 1000th post and the 6th BFP!!!!!!

Ooohhhhh I hope so!!!!!!!

Tania2 · 18/10/2004 14:23

I cant seem to break away from my PC. I love being able to chat live with you girls instead of waiting till you all wake up.
