Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

Think my period has just started :( gutted

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 20:17

@Ughmaybenot keep my fingers crossed for you that this is your month xx

Ughmaybenot · 17/03/2020 19:00

I had my coil out 12th Feb, started trying straight away and nothing yet, just come on my period today. Disappointed but not surprised.

BatmanBaby · 17/03/2020 18:55

I'll try not too. Just driving myself crazy wondering if they are early pregnancy symptoms or from having the coil removed 🙈

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 18:05

I did lots of tests leading up to a month after the coil was out, all negative, so hang fire on testing until it's been out over a full month. I got my first faint positive on the 15th so a month and a bit for me! A First response showed up positive too! X

BatmanBaby · 17/03/2020 17:55

Aw that's amazing news @KrissyMB

I'm really hoping I get a positive soon! I had my mirena coil out on the 6th. I didn't get periods on it either. I had some very pink mucous (tmi!) A few days after having it out. I've had cramps, hot flushes, headaches and starting on Sunday I'm just so emotional and teary, which isn't like me at all lol

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 17:07

@batmanBaby hey! I had my coil out 12th February 2020 and took a pregnancy test yesterday which confirmed I am pregnant. I had never had a period whilst having the coil - mirena coil - and I never really bled when it came out. I had a nauseous feeling after removal a few times, but that was more likely just my hormones changing with coil being removed

BatmanBaby · 17/03/2020 15:31

Hay,

Can I join please! I had my coil out on the 6th of this month, and we've been trying since then!

Has anyone else started trying as soon as their coil was removed? If so, how do you know what's removal of the coil symptoms as opposed to pregnancy symptoms?

Thanks!

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 15:25

Not yet!! Trying to get their number is difficult enough😬

1987Nic · 17/03/2020 15:06

Did you manage to get an answer from HR?

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 14:00

Oh gosh, I hadn't really given it thought as I'm off this week but just away to phone HR and see what they say!

1987Nic · 17/03/2020 10:54

Yeh Ive been told to self Isolate for 14 days until I’m further along in the pregnancy. Work then said 12 weeks if everything is going well. x

BabyB20 · 17/03/2020 10:39

Hi All

I work in a GP surgery and they dont seem very concerned that I am early pregnant. I am in work as normal.

Are you ladies self isolating for 12 weeks? I'm a bit worried and think I should maybe go home!?

Thanks x

1987Nic · 17/03/2020 09:56

Yeh definitely something you need to say in person. I was lucky as my bf was running late for work and was there to see the good news.

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 09:51

I agree @1987Nic I'm still a little shocked that it has happened so quick for us! I only took pregnancy test yesterday to kind of rule it out in a way...not expecting it to be positive. I texted hubby and told him to come home from work - said I had had an accident and needed his help...bless him he was all worried but felt it wasn't something I could tell him over whatsapp!

1987Nic · 17/03/2020 09:20

It’s lovely to hear about BFP and talk to people with similar due dates. Smile

KrissyMB · 17/03/2020 08:25

I have an expected date end of November too, but unsure how accurate that is because I haven't had a period, I am using the date I got my coil removed and had a slight bleed just before removal! Love hearing all the bfp news:)

1987Nic · 16/03/2020 21:38

My date is the 27th November, can’t believe that it will be by the end of this year. Haha I’m tempted to test each day too but only have two more tests and want to save one for Saturday when the period is definitely missed ha.

Pink15 · 16/03/2020 21:25

@KrissyMB congratulations!!! November babies 👶🏼

@1987Nic according to nhs calculator I'm due 22 November - how about you? I got my bfp 5 days early too!! The wait to your expected period is long but I was reassured by my tests getting darker each day! Today was the first day I didn't test haha x

1987Nic · 16/03/2020 21:13

@KrissyMB Congratulations, excellent news. My due date is about the 27th November according to a due date calculator.

1987Nic · 16/03/2020 21:09

@Pink15 Thank you, it makes me super excited to find out when people get BFP. Bet it makes it all more real when you’re feeling lots of symptoms. Aw lovely that you are arranging your booking appt. Do you have an idea of your due date? I’ll definitely join the November group once I’m passed my expected AF day on Friday, will be lovely to have some support. x

KrissyMB · 16/03/2020 21:03

So today started by taking a cheap test...coil has been removed for just over a month. Came up mega faint! So took a FRER. Congratulations to you @1987Nic great news for you! November babies!!! I'm a bit confused as to when my expected date will be as didnt have a period on the coil and only had a tiny bleed on it being removed!
