I have been trying for a baby for around 5 months and did this test this morning, am I seeing things after staring at these for so long every month !? My period is due tomorrow so may be too early to even say... Thanks in advance

A large Boots will probably sell a FRER. Be careful not to get the Rapid Results test as they aren’t as sensitive and the boxes look really similar.

Binky89 · 01/02/2020 09:18

Digital one said not pregnant this morning ! My heads all over the place at the min, doubting all of the other ones now 😩 Do all chemists sell the first response ones ? I’ll get one today and see what happens...

Looks positive OP. Digitals are not very sensitive so may not work. FRER would be best!

bluemoon2468 · 01/02/2020 06:21

You really need a FRER, I'll post my One Step versus my FRER when I found out last week.

Looks positive to me OP. Keep testing and I'm confident the lines will suddenly get very dark. X

Binky89 · 31/01/2020 11:11

I’m going to see how the digital one goes in the morning and hope that will make me relax abit and know 100% , it’s like being in limbo !

The CB looks nice and visible. The cheap ones I struggled too a lot with them. Don't want to give you false hope but mine were so bad, you could barely see something. FRER at this point will be nice and visible.

Binky89 · 31/01/2020 09:53

Aww thanks , Even if I’m two days late and it’s an early detection test? I also used FMU so I think I was expecting it to be really dark ! The line I mean, not my wee haha

Good line on the Clear Blue. Congrats OP!

Binky89 · 31/01/2020 07:49

Haha I know what you mean. I got this yesterday, it’s an early detection one (10mlu) I don’t know if this is a stupid thing to think but surely if I’m two days late and this one says you can test upto 6 days before a missed period, the line would be darker ? I’ve got no idea how it works to be honest and whether it’s still too soon ...

That clear blue is getting pretty clear and blue.
Took me a second as was looking for a cross and then realised the line I could see was the line you were looking for.

Binky89 · 31/01/2020 06:25

Aww thanks haha, I will update with the digital tomorrow, assuming my period doesn’t come today ! Thankyou everyone 😊 x

I'm literally checking this thread constantly. I've never wanted a stranger to be pregnant so bad before!

berrynice16 · 31/01/2020 06:12

No problem! It definitely does - please do update!

Binky89 · 31/01/2020 06:04

I think seeing the word “pregnant” will be when I actually believe I could be haha, I’m going to try and wait until first thing tomorrow and do it as my period is only a day or two late, fingers crossed ! Thanks for replying x

OP posts:
berrynice16 · 31/01/2020 05:59

The urine dip looks exactly how mine did when I got my first BFP - I am almost 12 weeks now - did a clear blue digital and it said pregnant which was enough confirmation for me, fingers crossed for you OP!

Binky89 · 31/01/2020 05:48

These are from this morning, I’m worried the lines don’t seem to be getting darker and I know I need to wait a few days but I can’t help it 😩 I’ve got a digital one being delivered today so going to try that first thing tomorrow morning

@Binky89 I can see a very faint line in all of these... The only way to know for sure is to wait a few more days and if af doesn't show up retest. It should darken as hcg rises so in a few days you'll have a better idea.

You're not out until af turns up. Xx

Mummy1998 · 30/01/2020 23:10

@calimommy sorry I know I should have but have no idea how! So new to this sorry. I done a pregnancy test a few days ago midst my ‘period’ but got a negative. I’m still quite sore so I’ll test again in a couple of days. X

calimommy · 30/01/2020 15:27

@Mummy1998 it's best to start your own thread if you have a separate question, you will get more replies that way x

Re your question, after a miscarriage it can take a while for hormones to settle down again. Have you done a pregnancy test to make sure you aren't pregnant now?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 30/01/2020 15:22

I think they all look like they have faint lines. Don't want to give you false hope though. I wouldn't say they were definite negatives though which is good. Fingers crossed for you.

Mummy1998 · 30/01/2020 13:46

Hi everyone. I too suffered a miscarriage back in October. Was devastating, not pregnant yet but would anyone be able to help me with my cycle? I’m awful with keeping track even though I have an App I don’t understand the ins and outs. Basically my period after my MC was the 27th of November, after that was the 25th of December. That would make my cycle around 29/30 days I counted ? This period I got was late as I got it on the 24th so a couple of days late. However my period was and always has been like clock work- to the exact hour nearly. This period wasn’t like a normal period either, light to start off with, pinkish, brownish (TMI) there was abit of red too but I just know it wasn’t a normal period. Can anyone shed some light or have any similar stories ? Period is over now but I’m still quite crampy and have some very very light brown discharge.

Binky89 · 30/01/2020 13:45

I’ll keep you all updated ! Thankyou

@Blikny89 they all look faint positive to me xx try getting first response and try that.

MsChatterbox · 30/01/2020 13:25

I would still feel quite hopeful with that line! You may have implanted late.
