Right my update now. 11 dpo bfn (whitest test I've ever seen). On to next cycle, I'm giving red raspberry leaf tea a shot to try and help repair the damage to my poor uterus and fallopian stump. At this point I'll try anything that might work even if it sounds like BS. How are you all ladies? What's keeping you busy during lock down. I've been gardening and crocheting like a mad woman 😂

Welcome @marmitecheesetoast and so very sorry for your loss. I have only had 1st trimester losses and one ectopic but I couldn't imagine and later loss. Please feel free to share what ever you need to even if it's not ttc related. I'm the stinky old cheese around here so I'm up for a bit of chat on all topics. Stay safe x

I also made it my aim to be pregnant by my daughters due date which we did do but alas another miscarriage. I don't think there is a 'too soon'. Everyone is different.

I can't remember who recommended this book but it's fab. I love it thank you...

@marmitecheesetoast I’m so sorry for the loss of your son. I lost my DD at 40 weeks last year. She was completely healthy but died due to a cord accident. She was my first baby. My period came back within 4 weeks but was irregular for about a year. We started trying after about 2 months and I did fall pregnant on the 4th cycle but had a MC.

I understand that need to have another baby. I feel like a mother without a child. Really. But try to be patient with yourself and your body.

@footprintsintheslow thanks for your kind words. Yes because of the point in pregnancy it happened I’m on maternity leave and my husband is also on parental bereavement leave so we’ve been trying to get out for a walk the 3 of us each day... it’s not the most peaceful or enjoyable of walks with a just turned 3 year old sometimes though! I think I need to try and get out myself a bit more. It’s just impossibly hard not having the head space to grieve and process what’s happened while constantly parenting in lockdown. My in laws are close by but shielding and my family are 5 hours away so it’s pretty tough. I’m really hoping nursery opens again soon.

I’ve just got such a strong desperate desire to be pregnant again even though it seems so soon. I guess it’s a biological response to what’s happened.

Just need to figure out where my cycle is up to and what my body is doing!

@marmitecheesetoast sorry to see you here. I lost a baby at 20 weeks in October and another miscarriage at 7 weeks in Feb. Everyone understands you here. Share as much or as little as you want. X

After my 20 week lost I just shut myself away like a lockdown. Are you able to get out for walks at all and busy your daughter? Do you have a supportive partner or family?

I just never contemplated that after the 20 week scan that anything could really go wrong and feel so naive now. I just can’t get my head around how he could be so seemingly perfect and a good weight and just die? It’s just incomprehensible

Anyway, after a few days of ewcm I had some pink spotting yesterday and a small amount of red blood this morning. But it’s not started into anything I’d call a proper period. I’m so confused. It’s 4 weeks since I gave birth. The afterbirth bleeding stopped completely about 10 days ago. Is this a period already?! I have no other usual period signs (cramps etc) and I was advised it would usually be 5-6 weeks til a period. And I thought I was ovulating 🤔 unless this is the lochia starting up again?! Urgh so confused. My body is probably just all over the place wondering what’s going on as all my homones were preparing for a baby to be here next month 😔

Welcome @marmitecheesetoast I am so sorry for the loss of your baby boy 💙 this group has been incredibly supportive to me. I've had 3 first trimester losses, had some tests but no reasons found so far and covid stalled us.

I've had some real low points over this last year and the last few months have been particularly hard but I genuinely am starting to feel hope again 🌈

I have had multiple early losses but no idea what it's like to have a stillbirth. I know there are a couple of other people here TTC after a stillbirth though.

Wondering if I can join.

My baby boy was stillborn last month at 28 weeks. Absolutely devastating and incomprehensible, there is no clear reason for why this happened yet. I have a DD who just turned 3 and is constantly asking why her baby brother didn’t come home.

Anyway, I know it’s very early days, but I’m desperate to be pregnant again. Though I wish with all my heart I could just bring my DS home.

So thought I’d dip my toe in the water. I have no idea what to expect in terms of my cycles after a stillbirth? It’s only been 4 weeks but the last few days I’ve had some
ewcm. No positive on an OPK yet though. I’m sure my body and hormones are all over the place right now. I should be 7 and a half
months pregnant.

I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and fingers crossed for positive stories. So sorry that we all find ourselves here for one reason or another.

Hope everyone is ok and surviving lockdown. I’m finding it almost impossible dealing with this grief and processing what
has happened in lockdown with a toddler.

I'm having the HSG on Wednesday and then an ultrasound on the following Monday. I'm not sure why I have to go twice, I'll ask him again when I see him on Wednesday. I've never had an HSG before but I remember when I had my saline ultrasound in October it was OK at the time but I had the worst cramps I've ever had later in the day.

But still, I guess it's all worth it if it helps get some answers, right?

I'm sorry you've had such a difficult time @peperethecat I hope these investigations bring answers for you.
Have you got to have 2 hsgs in the same week?? Have you had one before? I had one last Summer and didn't expect it to be so painful - not to scare you or put you off, but everyone told me it was just like a smear, so I wasn't prepared.

Morning ladies. I'm having to take a few cycles off while we have some more tests done. One of the new doctors last week said to come in for an ultrasound and an HSG on days 6 and 10 of my next cycle and I wasn't sure when that would be because I'd had such a weird miscarriage with no bleeding, so he said count the day my HCG hits zero as the first day of my cycle.

Anyway, my HCG was 23 on Wednesday and then my period arrived by surprise yesterday, so I think I'm cycle day 2 now. Need to book in for those appointments next week. I also have a telephone appointment with the internal medicine specialist who is going to check for NK cells and other auto-immune issues. I really hope we can get all that done this cycle rather than having to wait for the next one.

Thank you @Mumlili9, had a better temperature rise this morning, so FF as changed ovulation to cd 10 whici I think is right, based on my opk and symptoms. So our timing was good 🤞going to message the clinic next week.

I don't really understand it, but when I had my hsg the doctor told me that the tubes wave around and she has someone with one tube and one ovary on opposite sides, but she conceived. It was quite bad timing when she told me, but I've always remembered it.

I'm feeling a bit more hopeful, even though nothing has changed, but I'm hoping all of us have have a change in fortune 🌈

@BunnytheHoneyBee hi hun, sorry pms is kicking your butt. I've read that pms is because you have very high progesterone, not a bad thing I don't think.

@VenusStarr hello hun nice to hear from you x Fx for this cycle hun. Let's hope you don't have to wait to long to get answers from the fertility clinic. As for me I knew it's was a long shot, early ovulation, ovulation on my tubeless side and bad timing.

Hi all. I'm 3dpo, we're in with a chance this cycle 🤞 I got my positive opk on cd9 and FF thinks I ovulated that day... I'm unsure as my temps aren't that high. Last cycle was textbook but we hadn't tried. Not that hopeful.

I'm very run down. I think I shared before I had what I thought was an eczema flare up on my face. It's been lingering but suddenly ramped up and spread this week. I'm worried it's infected, it's been weeping and I had to lie down after lunch, slept for 2.5 hours.

Good news that fertility clinics can re-open from 11 May, so hoping I can get my second biopsy in June.

AF arrived this morning. I was two days late and let myself believe for a while last night about what could have been.
I’m getting my progesterone levels checked in a few weeks along with some other bloods as I haven’t been 100% lately.

@Mumlili9 I’ve had PMT all week and feel AF is due any time but it will be a relief as usual as PMT really gets me really down and stressed but of course wondering whether I will ever get a BFP
