Wow so much to catch up on don't know where to start
lissie - welcome back hope the move went well
Emmsy - hi and welcome although sorry you had to find us but this thread is brilliant loads of support. I know what you mean about having previous DC and people thinking it doesn't matter as much that you have had a mc, it's not like that mine was 5 weeks ago and I'm still trying to get my head around it. I had a AF less than 4 weeks after my mc so I must have been ovulating whilst still bleeding, I didn't want to have sex until after I have completely finished bleeding so that kind of ruled out ttc. I don't know why they say wait until you have a AF before trying for dating because IME first day of last period isn't that exact and they change it at the scan anyway when they can tell you the exact age of the baby.
nh101 - sorry about your friend but glad she seems to be bearing up hopefully it won't have put her off more children would be a great shame to let the bastards win.
cricri - I hope you manage to have a nice time in Holland. I never want to tell people what to do but to be bluntly honest I would book myself in for the ERPC and get it over and done with. My hospital didn't offere medical management with the pill so it was 2 week wait for nature to take it's course or ERPC. As it happens I didn't get the chance to decide. The mc was horrible adn with 2 LOs to look after I wish I had opted for the op. At least then you are not waiting for it all to kick off thinking "is this it?" with every little bit of blood stained toilet roll.
goingfor3 - don't have anything else to say as I followed your story for the last mc but just wanted to give you some virtual hugs xxx
ILTS - read your story too sounds horrific I agree with others that if men suffered like we do there would be a less barbaric way to deal with mc, hopefully your over the worst of it now, onwards and upwards and remember where we are if you need some emotional support. I know that once the physical side was over with the sheer sense of loss kicked in.
gilly - so sorry about AF I know what you mean though I have 3 friends ttc right now as well and I know they either have BFPs and aren't telling me or they will get theres before me and I will be so crazy as thery are first timers and I already have 2 DC.
jules - glad you are getting some counselling and what an amazing idea to set up something to help other women in the same situation. Just remember to take care of you too. I think everyone on MN will have the biggest ever when you post your birth announcement and I am so positive you will one day x
ladylush - look at you with the posh uterus hope the tests all come back ok and it's onwards and upwards for that BFP in October.
TJuice - I suppose it's hard for your friend too to tell you she's pregnant when she knows you have just had a mc, hard for you too I know everywhere you look right now theres bumps and you want to scream "why haven't I got one too!
big hello to anyone I have missed off I know theres loads of you sorry but this has turned into a mammoth post I'm like it in RL too always chatting away
