ttc after mc July/August 2007 - shiny new thread as the other was full

Hi,

I hope nobody minds me adding a new thread, but the other wouldn't let me reply.

LadyLush - Sorry to hear about your loss . In answer to your question, I thought I was around 11-12 weeks pg, but the scan said the baby was around 8-9 weeks. When I'd had the ERPC, the gynae reg said the uterus was around 14weeks and the baby was still 8-9 weeks.
I'm sure things do get better with time, but things are still pretty raw and new for me. I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you (and hopefully for others too).

i think its harder (excuse the pun) on them than we think. we only really have sex on fertile days now, im too scared after i ov, just in case and before im still cranky from my period. so he has about a week of lovin'

pipsqueeke · 01/09/2007 09:14

hello - I wondered whewre you'd all gone! lol.

erm CD 4 for me I think, got my vits - folic acid, vit c 1000mg and also vit e only 100mg thou as the woman in H&B said you have to use 100 for the body to absorb it?? anyhow. long chat with DH last night - he was wavering on stopping ttc again - as 'we can't afford it' but his real reason was because I only want to know him when i'm having red days apparently - so am going to make more of an effort for him on other days! lol.

anyhow off to catch up now!

winemakesmummyclever · 31/08/2007 21:25

keeping you in suspense? never!!!

winemakesmummyclever · 31/08/2007 21:19

I know just how you feel there Lissie - it will come though. I can see us all sat here next year in comfy baggy pants, vests straining at the seams as we grow bigger and bigger in the summer sunshine

Oops - a friend's wedding .

Ladylush - hope your grandparents are ok. It's good that you can spend time with them - let them know how much they mean to you.

we are off to a wedding in brum tomorrow so keep telling myself that at least i canm wear a really fab dress, high heels and get trollied, but id rather be hugely pg in flip flops and uncomfortable...

winemakesmummyclever · 31/08/2007 21:09

Feeling a little better today, tho have been keeping myself very occupied. Still cannot believe that this time last week I was at a frend's wedding, talking about things to come. Makes me sad when I think like about it all like that.

Dh and I treated ourselves to take out, cake and lots of wine last night. Fully expected to feel like doom this morning, but was up well before ds, and got on with lots of housey jobs in peace. Has anyone else found themselves throwing themselves into housework/gardening etc? I find it quite cathartic at the mo - will probably wear off though.

Off to prep stuff I need for tomorrow morning. Dh is having ds for the morning while I go to the local history centre and poke through dusty old files etc.

Hope everyone is getting along ok.

meant to say- ladylush- sorry to hear about your grandparents . I hope you get some strength from seeing them and spending some time with them

torres · 31/08/2007 16:50

Hi Nh! I completely agree with you- so sorry for you KD73, your friend is unreasonable. Nh- glad to see you positive, I hope the clomid hasn't made you crazy- must say you seem calm! It is a shame we are all scattered over the country but I will eat a cake for each of you!

sweetkitty- you would have amazing willpower if you didn't eat those fairycakes. I'm impressed you bought them and havent opened them yet- I always start munching goodies on the way back from the supemarket on the bus

nh101 · 31/08/2007 15:51

KD73 - your friend sounds like an idiot. Surely she can see that losing a baby is something you can't just "get over because someone is hormonal" No wonder you are .

Take as much time as you need and if she is a good friend she will still be there for you when you feel up to being around her. If she isn't then she isn't worth it.

You'll be PG again soon so keep your chin up!

Hope you cake-festers hav ea good time - I'd be there, only I'm on Preston...

sweetkitty · 31/08/2007 14:56

Have a good time cake festers I'm so I can't even bake a cake cos the oven is still broken but I did buy the DDs some fairy cakes today so might have one of them

kensgirl - that sounds a lovely way to think of things at the caribbean I've never made ot over to the caribbean would love to one day but it would be a bit difficult now with the DDs.

flosspot - hope you feel better soon migraines suck

lissie - hows your DS any more spots?

ladylush · 31/08/2007 14:55

I have that feeling too because I am flying to Dublin tonight and I get nervous when flying. My grandparents are ill so I am going to see them - might be last chance.

torres · 31/08/2007 14:50

HaHa! I am actually getting that nervous/ excited feeling - it's like going on a blind date
