Hi to anyone reading 👋🏻

This is a thread for anyone TTC / testing in February, after a miscarriage.

I’ll start off with intros! I’m 37 and my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks in December. I TTC straight afterwards, but AF found me, so here I still am on this crazy, frustrating, rollercoaster of a journey!

I joined the January thread after my miscarriage and it’s been amazing to go there and chat to other women who know how you feel.

So for anyone joining this, I’m so so sorry you find yourself here, but you’re in good company ❤️

Ibaadsmummy · 22/02/2020 10:41

Guys how many days after a mc at 6 weeks did your period arrive much cycle is usually 25 days miscarriage but I know it probably wont be this time just wana know others experience so I can test similar time thank you

Leok83 · 22/02/2020 10:36

@kkr168 ya I would have done the same..sometimes LH can fluctuate so poss may have gone up again cause CD 9 to ov on CD13 seems like a very big gap alright!

kkr168 · 22/02/2020 10:20

@Leok83 no I stopped testing on cd11 after getting low

Leok83 · 22/02/2020 10:05

@kkr168 ah yes it’s the 11th of Feb on CD 13th not CD11 that it looks like you ov from that! Did you keep up the opk till then? I’d go for that date as ov rather than opk anyways. Hopefully the extra days bring ur BFP!

Anny27 · 22/02/2020 09:47

@BS9790 that's a relief 💗💗💗 hopefully we will all be joining you on the graduates thread soon!

Congratulations again xx

Oops, posted too soon... Especially to the January ladies who have helped to keep me sane and been a real comfort over the last few months xx

BS9790 · 22/02/2020 09:30

Hi ladies, spanish clearblue has told me 2-3 weeks this morning. My dates are 4 weeks and 3 days, so guessing this is about right!

Starting to ever so slightly relax now, lines are getting a bit darker (not as dark as I'd expect, but still some progression)

Ill keep an eye on this thread and the March thread, to see how your getting on. Good luck in your ttc journeys, expecially to the original janauary thread ladies xx Flowers

@Leok83 temp defo didn't go up till cd14, might be easier to see in this pic?
I have a frer but saving it, i'll use it monday if AF doesn't arrive.

Anny27 · 22/02/2020 09:07

Sorry AF arrived @leok83 :(

I am 5dpo today and will technically be testing in march so I'll head over to the new thread but will still check on all the ladies on here :D

Leok83 · 22/02/2020 09:02

@kkr168 I find the fertility friends app chart bit easier to read than this one..though ur temp started to rise at CD12 from what I can see on this so that’d be ov on CD11. I hope af stays away and ICs just aren’t sensitive enough yet!

kkr168 · 22/02/2020 08:54

AF is due today, I've had none of my usual pre af symptoms, I always get cramps 1-2 days before & a massive NEED for chocolate/cake/anything sugary Cake.
Tested on 2 different IC this morning, both BFN.
I'm a little confused by my bbt chart, I got peak on OPK on cd9 but temp didn't start rising until cd14, I didn't test on cd10 for some reason but by cd11 it was low. I get ovulation can take upto 36 hours after a peak but that still seems quite a gap between temp rising?
Slightly hopeful that I ovulated later, making me less dpo then I think I am? Meaning i'm still in with a chance!

AF has arrived couple days early, not too disappointed as I didn’t expect great things given how out of whack everything thing was post MC. Good to move on from that last torturous cycle and hopefully next one back to normal and March is a good month. Best of luck to everyone left to test in Feb🤞

FireflyGirl · 21/02/2020 20:36

Sorry to hear that, @Ljm0101 FlowersCake

Cramps have settled today, though not completely gone. AF due on Tuesday, but I'm having my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, so I'm going to poas tomorrow morning 'just in case'.

A couple at work got married last summer, and announced their pregnancy today, along with scan photo. I couldn't go for a drink or a wee all day without someone talking babies. I had to hide in my office Sad

Kona84 · 21/02/2020 20:30

1dpo and already symptom spotting. Had a bit of back ache today, I know it was from my work chair but can’t help thinking it’s a symptom
I’m trying to remember my symptoms from last time.
I think the first thing I noticed was painful boobs which I don’t get with AF.
I think my appetite decreased too and I had quite a few headaches. I wish I was more consistent with tracking my symptoms on Ovia

Kona84 · 21/02/2020 20:24

@Ljm0101 sorry.
I hope your cycles go back to normal

Ljm0101 · 21/02/2020 20:18

Well I'm out for this month AF turned up today, I suppose I need to look at it as a positive and hopefully when it's done my cycle will go back to a more normal length as today was CD37. X

Whiffle77 · 21/02/2020 14:29

*few days

Whiffle77 · 21/02/2020 14:29

@moominmiss good luck to you too! I will be glad of a rest after the next few says to be honest Smile

Moominmiss · 21/02/2020 13:39

@Whiffle77 good luck! Would be lovely to see some bfp’s in a couple of weeks. I’m just going to make sure we dtd for the next few nights just to make sure, and then hopefully that’ll be this month covered!

TerribleImagination · 21/02/2020 13:07

By the way for anyone (like me) who’s been unlucky this month and will be cracking on either TTC or testing / AF due in March, I’ve created a new thread here:

@Moominmiss we seem to be very in sync with opks!! Mine much lighter today too, despite never getting to peak. Who knows, but like you we have been very active, so shouldnt make too much difference

TerribleImagination · 21/02/2020 12:11

@Moominmiss and @Koana84 🙁 that’s rubbish that both of you had to deal with that too! 😞

OP posts:
Moominmiss · 21/02/2020 10:53

@Anny27 I hope you’re right. Would be nice to think we’ve already potentially dtd at the right time.
Your progression lines looked great! Makes me wish I’d started testing earlier so I could have had a better idea of what was going on!
