Hi to anyone reading 👋🏻

This is a thread for anyone TTC / testing in February, after a miscarriage.

I’ll start off with intros! I’m 37 and my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks in December. I TTC straight afterwards, but AF found me, so here I still am on this crazy, frustrating, rollercoaster of a journey!

I joined the January thread after my miscarriage and it’s been amazing to go there and chat to other women who know how you feel.

So for anyone joining this, I’m so so sorry you find yourself here, but you’re in good company ❤️

@AlviesMam since my MC I ovulated on day 23!!! Could just be late ovulation and prolonged cycle but the frer looks good.

@AlviesMam it’s def possible to ov day 20..and as you said after MC cycles can be a bit messed up anyways.

I only ovulate on day 20 with a 34 day cycle

Ya I def do think it’s strong..some of the tests I’m really squinting to see but that’s just a blazing obvious! Hopefully the doc can fit you in fast. But try not to worry in the mean time (I know easier said than done!). Xx

@Leok83 u really think it looks strong?! I'm really overthinking. It is possible I ovulated late as I know after a loss cycles can go funny. I just hope I can get an appointment quick. Xx

Yes, absolutely @AlviesMam, every chance of good news.

I think the key is for hcg to double every 2-3 days, which you can only know from blood tests.

Have a chat with your gp, they'll be able to reassure you more than we will on here, and might even offer you an early scan given your history.

Alvies due date was today. Lost him at 22 weeks.
I don't need this today but yet again I'm worrying ! :(

Can hcg levels rise slow? It's darker than clear blue (another pic attactched)

I honestly don't know what to think :( x

I think that's a lovely line, @AlviesMam.

Definitely stronger than the one on Sunday.

If I were you, I'd speak to my gp about getting some blood tests done to ensure hcg is doubling. That would be more accurate than the tests, and might help put your mind at rest Flowers

Darker than clear blue but worried it's not strong enough for now being 6 days late?
No cramps and just the very light pink discharge.

Don't know what to think and don't want to now get too excited x

@Wiffle77 I know it right il test a few more time over the week if they stay positive will do a week I dictator clearblue on sat and tell hi by after scan on sunday xxx please pray for me girls that it's a good one this time xx il wait the week incase it's a chemical or something x

I'm scared if I mc again il make every1 sad again il tell my 2 year old he cant talk hey so he wont tell any1 haha

@ibaadsmummy if you had a negative test following MC and are now having positives that's great! Hopefully your scan on Sunday can help settle your nerves. Not telling anyone until 12 weeks is a big load for you to carry alone, I'm sure you're partner would want to support you with that ❤️

I'm gonna wait till Saturday and test again maybe but I'm impatient so probably test repeatedly so il be soo poor soon... luckily I just realised I have another follow up scan on sunday so hopefully they can shed some light on what's happening inside. So scared to think I might have caught it again right away...have I increased my chances of a mc by doing this I'm so worried now. If I mc il have to go through what I went through this month all over again and delay having my babbu all over again.

I'm wasnt to worried about conceiving my worry and axiety is having a miscarry finding put early means waiting longer before 12 weeks

I already had a negetive test within week n half as mc at 6 weeks and levels was already low. On 16th had follow up scan they also confirmed a negetive test. Did a boots digital before work it said not pregnant had a second so used it after work 6 hours later it said pregnant tried to attach pic buy pic posts wont load dont know why. But anyways now I'm so confused regret testing early was ment to test Saturday as I predicted period would be a week later as most people who mc at 6 weeks said they was a week later

@ibaadsmummy had you had a negative test since MC? (Sorry if you've already said this) if not, ask your GP to do a blood test to put your mind at rest
