Anyone testing beginning of Feb?

Hello! I am new to this forum & wanted to chat to anyone testing around the same time as me at the beginning of Feb!
Going off the app I use I am about to ovulate so will be DTD lots over the next week!
I have been TTC for around 5/6 months now but haven't discussed with friends or family so hoping to feel better by discussing with people in the same situation

@ZsaZsaMc I'm due the 7th, why is it so far away! The wait is killing me. Still, this last week has gone surprisingly quickly so I hope next week will too. I also have never bothered figuring out when I ovulate, I got pregnant quickly with DS1 so see no need to change it.

@KittyWindbag Still got a few days! You're not out yet.

CocoW · 31/01/2020 06:31

Morning ladies!
I did a FRER & 2 cheapies this morning & all BFN. Think that is me well & truly never using a clear blue again.
I just had a gut feeling yesterday it wasn't a BFP.
AF due Monday but definitely think I am out 😔

Well I absolutely caved and tested last night, 11dpo. It’s a BFN. I know it’s not AF yet but I do feel disheartened. Guess that means I can have a couple of vodka and tonics over the weekend. Good luck to everyone else, I really hope we get some more positives on this thread!

Daisy2206 · 30/01/2020 21:07

@Nat4392 I'm only about 8 DPO so will be 9 tomorrow, which I know is quite early. Its just so hard to hold off :(

Nat4392 · 30/01/2020 20:53

@daisy2206 My AF is also due 5th. I’m trying to hold on until the day to test as I have a short LP. How many DPO are you?

Daisy2206 · 30/01/2020 19:57

Hi can I jump in on this? Smile
AF is due 5th Feb(ish)... Wondering if I should take an early detection test tomorrow or wait? 🤔 I'm using the clue app but it seemed quite accurate as at the time of ovulation I did experience cramps etc.

YellowFlower22 · 30/01/2020 19:41

👋🏼 hey! AF due 4th....wishing the next few days to hurry and hoping for any kind of symptom to appear!

ZsaZsaMc · 30/01/2020 19:24

@CocoW how exciting (whilst trying not to get hopes up!)

I am not due till 6th and wait is killing me - I also only did it via the clue so no idea really of when I ovulated. Next month I am going to take it more seriously I think!

LexiM · 30/01/2020 16:16

@pinkdressinggown me too! Although 9DPO is probably too early as implantation on average is around that day so try again in a couple of days.

hanelizabeth · 30/01/2020 16:03

Thank you :) I'll hold on till next Friday 😬

Nat4392 · 30/01/2020 15:38

@hanelizabeth as long as you can wait! Nothing worse than repeat early BFNs, I wouldn’t test earlier than 5th

hanelizabeth · 30/01/2020 14:34

When does everyone recommend I test? AF due 8th February x

pinkdressinggown · 30/01/2020 13:09

I'm on 9 dpo and tests are still coming up negative for me :(

Supper16 · 30/01/2020 12:07

@CocoW def a frer tomorrow. This was my bfp in 2017 for DC#1 - it's strong because I was already about 5 weeks here. But the line is still stronger on 1 side. Got everything crossed for you.

pinkdressinggown · 30/01/2020 12:07

Looks positive to me!!!

KittyWindbag · 30/01/2020 12:04

It looks positive!

CocoW · 30/01/2020 11:58

@Supper16 11DPO today & due on Monday.
Yeah 5 mins is within time just the way the line has a sharp bit of blue on 1 side is making me think its an evap when doing the dreaded googling.
Going to hold out & test first thing tomorrow with a FRER test as they seem to be abit more reliable that CB 🤞🏼

@CocoW re. Staying calm. Are you at work? Try and stay busy if you are not - cook a nice meal for dinner?. Can you think of something nice to watch on telly tonight?

Supper16 · 30/01/2020 11:52

@CocoW That looks pretty promising to me!!! 5 mins is within the time frame right? And how many DPO are you and when is AF due??

Yes test again tomorrow and try with FMU which I think is not as strong as middle-of-the-day urine. Think calming thoughts today Flowers

CocoW · 30/01/2020 11:12

Hey ladies! I need your line eyes!
Did a Clear blue test this morning, it was once i got to work & not my first wee of the day
I am not due AF until Monday but I will most likely POAS everyday now as I just can't help it.
This time I have got a faint blue line but its really thin. I know this may be ridiculous question but would that make a difference in if its correct or not?
It didn't come up until around 5 mins & was so faint I am worried it may be an evaporation line that I have read about.
Please someone help calm me down & settle my mind😫😔🤯😖

I know the answer is to just wait & test again tomorrow morning but any advice in how to stay calm until the would be appreciated

My AF is due 8th February, fingers crossed that doesn't appear and I get a BFP!

Good luck ladies 🤞

uisage · 29/01/2020 14:47

@loulou252419 A negative test doesn't mean anything until AF is due! The fact that you have a BFP is hopeful. Like you say, stay busy.

I seem to be peeing all the time, which is the first symptom that I had last time! I hate this waiting game, it does bad things to you.

loulou252419 · 29/01/2020 09:34

I wish I had just waited! serves me right for being so impatient!! Just got to stay positive and keep busy!!

KittyWindbag · 29/01/2020 08:53

@loulou252419 oh god, that would bend my head!!

KittyWindbag · 29/01/2020 08:52

I had a faint pink discharge this morning when I went to the loo which is making me get my hopes up as it resembles what I had in my first pregnancy at 10dpo. I have no tests in the house but I’ve ordered some. I’m so worried about getting my hopes up. I’m sorry you feel disheartened @CocoW. I know the feeling!
