Update : Hey everyone I'll have to try catch up on the chat tomorrow didn't have a minute today. Very busy in work took a half day because I had my gynaecologist app. He has advised I have secondary infertility. He has also advised I need to get a laparoscopy and a dye test through my Fallopian tubes to see is there anything effecting the sperm meeting the egg! I have health insurance so I have to ring tomorrow and see will they cover it if so I could be getting it done as early as this month 🤞🏼 it will be something easy and that they can fix and I can get pregnant soon xx

Swife · 15/01/2020 19:01

Got some good news today. I had my sonogram done and, hooray!, my uterus is PERFECT! And I am, in fact, ovulating. I still need to schedule the colonoscopy but I'm good and just waiting for my AF to arrive so we can start again.
My doc feels like I went wonky because, in my depression from the last loss, I went off track with keeping my Endometriosis diet so this is a flare. I'm getting back on track TODAY!

I hope everyone one else is doing well in their journey as well.

UPDATE: I spoke with my OBGYN this morning. My Progesterone level is 24(she said it's in normal range and that if it was lower than 20 it would be a problem). I just read the my range is also normal if I just ovulate which would make since according to my crazy OPKS(it gave me two peaks).
According to the blood test, I'm not pregnant 😕.
All my other levels are good. She still wants me to take 400mg if Progesterone daily and to up my vitamin D3 from 10,000 to 15,000 for 3 months.
My pain is most likely Endometriosis pain. I have a sonogram tomorrow to look for any issues. Still must schedule a colonoscopy 😒.
Praying everyone else has good news 🤞🏽

Swife · 14/01/2020 00:32

k so I went worried about my cycles and came out with a referral to have a colonoscopy done 😒. Let me explain 😁.

I noticed some black tarry substance in my poop(TMI SRY😔) and my OBGYN is worried the my Endometriosis is flaring up and since it can dump blood ANYWHERE in the body, she wants to be sure it didn't go there and she wants to check for other causes of old blood being there.

So I did do a complete blood to check for pregnancy as well as my Progesterone levels(because the older we get the lower our progesterone gets). Since I'm 38 my strange cycle the past 2 and now may be due to low Progesterone. So she up'ed it from 200 to 400mg every day instead of on cd13-25.

I call tomorrow for my results and then go back Wednesday for a sonogram so that she can check to make sure I don't have any cysts(I had that when she first met me and then quickly diagnosed me with Endometriosis).

It would be nice to hear I gotta go back to check my HCG levels 🤞🏽.

Update: sent a message to my OBGYN and going off of my pregnancy history and following my normal cycle of 28-29 days, I'm technically late.
I have to go in tomorrow and get a blood pregnancy test, then another one on Wednesday and then a sonogram on Thursday. I also have to take 200mg of progesterone vaginally, every 8 hrs until we figure out if I'm pregnant or not.

Swife · 11/01/2020 22:20

@MallonMary thanks for trying 😊. This is all just crazy to me 😔 and after being normal in my cycles, I'm really just overwhelmed by what's happening now

MallonMary · 11/01/2020 21:54

@Swife sorry I can't provide anymore help. Best to speak to your doctor.

Swife · 11/01/2020 16:32

@MallonMary yeah, I understand how our cycles work. The issue I'm having is that since going off Endo meds( which completely stopped my periods) in June (see pic) my cycles since June have been 28-29 days with a 4 day period. When I was temping, my periods were accurate with the drop in temp. But now since the last the last two cycles were 26 days in November cycle with a 2 day period and 20 days in December's cycle with a 3 day bleed, things are now very concerning! I've NEVER had a cycle over 29 days! So a 39-40 day cycle is cause for concern and worry, for me at least. The first pic is my cycle history since June. The 2nd pic is my P.C. app which is still following my normal cycle( according to it and another app I'm either 2 days late or supposed to start today) and the 3rd is one of my OPK apps that caught the second LH surge so it has me starting my period on CD39( WHICH AGAIN IS UNHEARD OF FOR ME)! I will be making an appointment with my OBGYN if this cycle proves futile.

@Swife hello ! I'm no expert but if I had to guess I would say ovulation was around day cd22 so your period will be due day 36 (ish!). My cycles change quite a bit but the one consist thing I find is that period (unfortunately a never bfp!!) comes 14 days (give or take a day or so) after LH surge.

I'm also in the tww- not fun. Although I know it'll be a bfn as always is!!

Swife · 11/01/2020 14:12

Hey ladies.I'm now just waiting to see if my period is coming or not. Since my cycles have been wonky these past two cycles, all my apps are all over the place with predictions 😒. Based on that, one app says I'm two days late. Another one has me starting today (their following a 27-29 day cycle) and then since I had a 2nd, higher LH peak on cd22, my testing apps say I'm not to see my cycle until the 23rd! THAT'S 39-40 days!!! I've NEVER had a cycle that long! I tested with cheapies yesterday and it still is a BFN so I'm not gonna drive myself crazy. Now I'm just playing the 'Pregnant or Period' game 🤔.

Sadie95 · 08/01/2020 21:32

@BFP2020 I did feel better after my lap but I also had the coil put in which reduced my symptoms and stopped the bleeding. Now I've got it out as I'm TTC it's full on

Swife · 08/01/2020 18:53

@BFP2020 the bleeding only lasted CD18-19. It didn't have clots. I've tested with cheapies every day for the past 4 days all came back BFN. So now I've decided to just wait and see if my period starts on the 10th or 11th. Fingers crossed I'm not out 🤞🏽.

BFP2020 · 08/01/2020 17:25

@swife wow you have had a tough time of it all sorry to hear. That bleed on the tissue is that the one that only lasted a day? If so could it be an implantation bleed? I would test if I were you? x

Hi. I would like to join this thread. I'm just this month age 39. Since age 22 I've had 2 ectopics with a tube being removed 😒, 1 MC and 1 non viable in July when I went off Endo meds to start TTC. Up until Nov., my cycles have been consistent at 28-29 days with 4 day bleeds. My Endo meds completely stopped my cycles until I stopped taking them. My OBGYN has me on Letrozole and Progesterone to aid in our TTC journey. In Nov. I had a 26 day cycle with a 2 day bleed and come Dec. I had a 20 day cycle with a 3 day bleed. I stopped temping since I have insomnia and my sleep was always off and started with OPKs this cycle. My first test showed peak at .89 on cd7(the day I started testing) so we been doing the BD since, with some breaks. On CD18 we BD'd and afterwards noticed blood. No clots and it lasted til cd19 then completely stopped. Fast forward to cd22 and I get a 1.23 peak lh surge 😕! 6 days before expected period! Can that even happen?! Since that surge I've still been testing my LH and all my HCG tests have been BFN(the tests are AccuMed online cheapies). I also had what I thought were period cramps since the second surge. I did contact my OBGYN with all this info with pics and all she said was "call me when you get a BFP". Now I'm waiting for my period to start, praying I'm not going through menopause, obsessing over POAS and driving my DH crazy with me 😜!

@Sadie95 I feel you pain I have about 10 days from CD 2- 11 where I actually feel like a normal person. I thought after having a Lap you should be much better??

Sadie95 · 08/01/2020 15:04

I normally get them the build up to my period and during and maybe for a week after including ovulation 😣 so my body doesn't get much of a break if I'm honest! When I get them bad it's baaaaad like I sometimes can't talk through them. Some can be very sharp and intense!

BFP2020 · 08/01/2020 10:24

@Sadie95 I know i was the same wanted to do everything natural with gas and air but my plan went out the window!!! Have you still got the bad cramps etc?

Sadie95 · 08/01/2020 09:56

I had an emergency at 35 weeks due to reduced movements 😭 I really wanted to do it naturally! So I had my lap June 2019 and had the coil in to reduce my symptoms, so I have only really been trying 2 months so I can't vouche fully yet. I think 6 months and I'll go to my doc and see if there is anything to help me

BFP2020 · 08/01/2020 08:56

@Sadie95 my was an emergency section after 24 hours of labour if it's what's caused it I'm devastated my body wouldn't just do what it was supposed to. My DD was face presentation and I got an infection so I had to get a section! Every month now I have different types of pain and or different symptoms and I keep thinking maybe I will be even with all the backache and cramps but I still haven't got my BFP. How long are you trying for no 2 now is your ENDO gone though after lap?

Sadie95 · 08/01/2020 08:08

@l@BFP2020 I also had a section, my consultant said by having a section can actually cause endo due to the scar tissue.

MallonMary · 07/01/2020 23:48

@BFP2020 oh my gosh that sounds awful :( let us know how you get on x

BFP2020 · 07/01/2020 23:08

@Mallonmary @sadie95 I'm TTC no 2 aswell i never Had bad periods always 4 days and my bad pain would only be day before and day of. It took us 2 years to conceive our first but we were young and just letting it happen I knew nothing about my cycles and we are a very active couple prob once a week. I had to have a section on my DD and then about 2 months after I got the implanon because we weren't in a position to have another straight away we were buying a house. Decided jan last year to get implanon out and start trying and every month I've gotten worse I've 3 days of really bad O pains pressure and I've gotten a stitch all the way up one side for a whole day a few months. Then I've really bad leading up to period some months the whole TWW I'm in pain with my back and cramps and constantly feel like I need to go to the toilet. But it's weird because I don't really have very heavy periods except one month I had a huge clot the size of a golf ball. I had Ultrasounds done and they could see a few small cysts on my right ovary but they said they weren't worried about them but then they advised I could have possible ENDO so my doctor referred me and I've my first app next wed I'm guessing I'll have to have a Laparoscopy.

Sorry for the essay but I always think these threads will help ppl in the future x

MallonMary · 07/01/2020 22:31

@sadie95 oh no that sounds horrible. You poor thing. Has it improved post procedure?

Has you oh been tested at all? We've been ttc 13 months and had some initial tests, dh semen analysis came back with some negative results (slow swimmers and wrong shape) so we're currently not sure of next steps- waiting on fertility appointment letter.

Sadie95 · 07/01/2020 22:22

I have endo TTC #2 now, I had my laparoscopy in June last year. My symptoms were heavy and extremely painful periods, intense sharp pelvic pain, pain during sex, clots, sometimes I would bleed 12 weeks continuously
